GW won't make it, but there was that one indie game that wanted to focus on female Space Marines. Someone brought up the Sisters of Battle to the creator on twitter and got blocked.

GW is the most retarded company of all time. They have an IP that has the potential to become as popular as Star Trek or Star Wars, particularly in the gaming field. But what do they do with their IP? First, they go through a phase of extremely strict licensing rendering only a couple of games per millenium, including atrocities like Fire Warrior and a fucking Nokia Ngage game.

Next, in their current phase, they throw out their license like candy, giving it to any half assed mobile dev. Clash of Clans clone? Sure - feel free to include even the Emprah in it as an unit! Shitty Plants vs Zombies clone? Go ahead! Oh, you wanna adapt the Eisenhorn series with Batman-cloned combat featuring a single button for mobile phones? Be my guest!

Their imbecility truly knows no bounds, they are dilluting the strenght of their IP with shoddy release after shoddy release. Instead of focusing on what fucking works - like maybe funding a Space Marines 2 game - they insist on this strategy probably because its safe (I bet the contract terms see no possibility of GW spending money on those games, only receiving, and they plan to release 200 games hoping to profit on at least a couple if it comes to that.).
