Fullderp is a game where one of us declares himself the champ and takes a ragtag team of six Pokemon assembled by anons into an online competitive Pokemon battling simulator!
When the current champ calls "new champ", the first poster to claim it is our champ. The first six legal Pokemon suggested once champ has been claimed or "new team" has been called will be the team our champ uses to battle. Suggesters are not to make multiple suggestions for a team unless 15 minutes have passed since their last request, or if the champ specifically asks for re-requests. The champ will be battling in [Gen 7] Pokebank UU unless he specifies otherwise. (Things are in an awkward testing phase at the moment. Regular formats will be determined sometime this month.) Pokebank OU is a mess. Proper formats will be decided in early January (supposedly).

- At the start of a battle, set /modchat ac - When everyone's joined (or spam has started), set /modjoin + - If you can't join a battle, PM champ to /invite you.

Protip: Use [code] tags for your sets. It makes it easier for the champ to import them.

Hyper training lets you have hidden powers with IV spreads that wouldn't normally have them. It's not very important usually, except for speed. Some of them might require an even number of speed IVs, meaning that a mon with that HP would max out at 30 IVs in speed; so their max would always be 1 point less than another mon with the same speed tier, assuming both are equally invested. This all means that, without hyper training, if you had two pokemon of the same speed tier fighting, both equally invested, one with an even speed HP and one without HP or an odd speed HP, the even speed mon would always go second. Hyper training puts them onto even footing, causing them to speed tie and perform an entirely skill-based check to determine which pokemon goes first.

No, it makes it more complex. It doesn't entirely remove HP from IVs, it just means that 31 IV stats can be seen as wildcards. And he already has all of that old stuff programmed, keeping it this way needs no extra work; even removing it would require some work, let alone overhauling it.

Can I also say, I prefer the animation and sounds of the real games compared to showdown way of doing thing, like remember pokemon one remember when you used blizzard or saw it used, it sounded fucking amazing the animation help it too. and it's only gotten better with the new games granted its longer but its honestly more satisfying to watch and play that instead of what showdown does, honestly all showdown does for me is make me see the flaws of a really good game series. and noting else. When you win in showdown it's not even really rewarding because it just ends. Which is really bad.

Showdown doesn't even try to look good. They sometimes improve animations a bit late into a meta's lifespan, but for the most part, as long as it plays more or less accurately to the games they like it. They're a lot better than they used to be.
tl;dr And there's nothing wrong with that, but you have to understand that Showdown is, at its core, a simulator. It never tried to be a replacement for the games proper, just a way for people to play against eachother with simplified teambuilding. The flashiness of the games doesn't fit what Showdown is trying to achieve, which is a fast and immediate display of information.

If you want an actual response, by the way: It's alright, although kinda boring by meme standards. It's a pretty standard set, though Taunt doesn't provide much utility since you don't have any way to defend yourself after you've taunted the opponent, and Salazzle goes down easily. As a standalone set though, it's good. It can attack and it can hit some of it's would-be switch-ins (Heatran, Toxapex) with Toxic to mess them up for the rest of the game. Again though, Taunt doesn't provide it a whole lot of utility outside of some rare ccircumstances.
