Again, religion isn't the main superstructure we need to be concerned with. Does it contribute to a reactionary outlook? Yes. Is it the cause of that outlook? No - God is dead.
Altering the superstructure isn't going to take us rejecting religion - that will just alienate people from the movement. It is something that will wither with time. What we can affect is class consciousness and convince people to oppose capitalism, which is the fundamental problem. As I mentioned, religion can contribute in this respect. such as in liberation theology.
