I wish I had tried it during the time of the big open maps where horses made a lot more sense and I wish they went back to them, it made the games better, especially if they made teams of 12v12.

The game already features a currency you get to buy items in-game, you know very well that's just gonna make it seem even more like a MOBA right?

Yeah I just checked, damage bonus on slowed targets is 20% now instead of 30% (OB37). Didn't see any other buff/nerf since then aside from his ultimate being buffed. Was the damage nerf before Sha-Lin ? If that's the case it must've been pretty negligible since I played plenty and still cleaned house.

She doesn't have the Sprint for Mobility, her gun does shitty damage and she can't engage from medium to long range like Viktor.
Her molotv is neat as crowd control but compared with Viktors Ulti, it's terrible.
She literally has no place on the battlefield where she'd feel alright.

His grenade is worse than the rockets from 76, who also doesn't need iron sights for the same kind of accuracy.
His ulti is somewhat better (yes, it's better than auto-aim) since it doesn't involve exposing himself, but that alone doesn't make him better.

The whole point of the girls in this game (and remenber, we are talking about an Hi-Rez game) is to be eye-candy and atractive to look at. Cutting on that in anyway at all is like removing healing from supports because "they support too much".

You'd understand this if you didn't lust for men but you still have Buck and Viktor, don't worry.

Sad thing, really. It seems they made him slower than what the players could do with him. I liked the guy, even if he was a bit OP against bad players. Wish they'd cut the shit and just let flying characters fly all the time (but be weaker to damage if they are airborne for longer than 3 seconds to compensate)

There's a lot of heroes that work in weird ways or fit some positions that are hard to play as, as long as you understand them. Buck is considered very underpowered but I find him very fun and effective if you know your shit. He's leap is too unreliable but if you can use it, as well as your net for the healing and the slow, you can flank for squishys and get kills easily.

I'm sure Tyra will hit a similar spot soon enough depending on her kit or get a few buffs to pidgeonhole her into some place eventually.

That's a weird idea. Usually the players that take the game seriously are the ones that go to ranked and everyone else that just wants to play the game casually stays in casual mode.
I get that maybe you're refering to tryhards, but those usually stay on the bottom tiers of competitive anyway, just trudge trough them.

I think you got the old classic skin as long as you owned Cassie, even her "new" skin is just based off the northern lights skin. Hi Rez has talked about turning her into this version for a while now. I do wish they gave an option for a classic bow though.

Think of the bubble around Tyra to be a kill zone, then kill anyone in that zone. Play off your teammates abilities and you will find success, you'll only get kills on you're own if you catch everyone off guard and outplay everyone else. Using the area denial of the grenade you can make it easy for your team to get into position and set up kills. If you catch her you will melt her like butter but if you ignore her she will mow down everyone with no survivors. Right now people are very bad at her since people in general have shit position because of the overall freedom Paladins give s you.

You can probably have more success with same effort with Viktor but if you got good at Tyra you'd catch a lot of people off guard.

I think their logic was that it was an internal mechanic you didn't know about unless you were told about it/somehow figured out it wasn't normal on your own. I'd say just infuse it into a card at some point so its a win/win. A lot of the card mechanics are past built in abilities they've shuffled around so its not out the realm of possibility.

Half of the skins Hi-Rez makes for Smite are scantily-clad female skins. Neith has jiggle physics and does caramelldansen as her victory animation.

Pay attention so you don't get caught by stray CC/random flanks. Throw fire onto useful areas like team fights, objectives and what not. Just don't waste it since it has a long cool down. Otherwise just focus fire with your team, mark people when ever practical. Remember to actually use your M2. For your ult just when you get into a position you need it to survive 1v1 or just go harm on the other team, you'll kill anyone that doesn't use everything to get away/block the damage.

the more i play her, the more i feel like this broad is all about locking down a tight area and playing mind games until they feel like they have to chase you in to it, like the side rooms and tunnels on the ice mines, or the waterfall room in jaguar falls. that shes so vulnerable isnt entirely a disadvantage if you want to play that shitty strategy.
taking a few move speed cards is very helpful since it can force the enemy to use their own movement abilities to catch up to you, which is what you want before engaging them anyways. you will out damage them every time. even buck has a terrible time because of the healing reduction and high consistent damage.
its been fool proof so far but i imagine a decent androxus would come out on top.
i didnt realize at first that marking an enemy gives your whole team vision of them. i cant imagine why anyone would play skye after they both reduced her health and with this chick running around in 70% of the games.

Why will they not put voice communication in this game? Communicating via the text box usually doesn't help in the heat of combat and several of the voice commands fuckin suck because there's too damn many of them to scroll through when trying to convey certain things.

I like Skye, but it's purely personal preference. Cloaking myself and unloading a well timed right-click will sometimes insta-ded and rag-doll them off the ground. Rag dolling at the last second of a match is fun to watch as well when it goes slow-mo.
