Hoxhaism

Is it actually a thing or just Stalinism adopted by Hoxha? What marks it out?

Stalinism now with more bunkers.

It's not Stalinism it's Maoism, which is the only decent criticism of Stalin

It's really neither of those things but the main way you could say it is "Maoist" is that it keeps some of the Maoist critique of the USSR while rejecting nearly all of Mao's petit-bourgeois liberal democratic idealism and sentiments.

...

Hoxha was a Stalinist that used to be friendly with Mao. That's all.

...

...

did Hoxha use the Mass Line, cultural revolution etc?

maybe some albanian can fill me in here but from what i understood he really improved the man-women relations during his reign and rooted out some really backwards religious customs and superstition

They had a cultural revolution, they went on about Soviet social imperialism and peoples war was their official defence policy(hence the bunkers)

This a basic overview

Sieg heil Kamerad Stirner der Führer

fuck wrong thread

Yes, you can become a mass murder if it's for the Greater Good of Mankind. Hence why Humanism have it's limits.

...

Interesting

Can't decide if he was a power hungry loon or a genius. He definitely did a lot for Albanians. Smashed religion.

Bump for bunkers

Any recommended reading on Hoxha and Socialist Albania? Any Albanianons here?

ES has two books on socialist Albania here: espressostalinist.com/online-library/

Might be better off taking your question to >>>/marx/ OP.

...

I kind think ML and ML-sympathetic might be better off taking serious convos about the subject and theory to >>>/marx/ and people like the idiot below who think the world relies around memes, "wity" one-liners, and """"ironic"""" shitposting are a huge reason why.

It would honestly be good for both boards as it seems that Holla Forums is incapable of being anything more then a general left forum. We never strived or tried to build a consensus around anything else here. About the only consensus we ever had is that we hated post-modern sjw bs as well as stormfaggotry, now that Trump's been elected this is no longer chic and people are throwing the theoretical critique leveled against identity politics out the window. It's plainly obvious the board is backsliding towards something like /r/FULLCOMMUNISM it feels like the broader online Left has ended up assimilating/influencing Holla Forums rather then the other way around.
