The police have been militarized, and are being used to enforce corporate agendas. When you go out to protest, out come the armoured water canons.

As for the hypothetical "free market paradise", well that already would be a corporate police state by definition. What that 3 dimensional model doesn't account for is power vacuums. The "free market paradise" would be a power vacuum, and corporations would be in a position to fill it.

Paradise itself is a problem. Who is it a paradise for? Not for everyone, because under that system, wealth would be distributed by a power-law even harsher than the real world.

I remember last playing this about a year and a half ago in the region of 'The internationale' and there would be constant raids between the Red Fleet and The Reich over the region of 'Anne Frank'. Additionally REATO and the so called "Communist Bloc" would team up (mostly out of boredom tbh) to do shitty raids against small regions. It's a really fun game if you get engrossed with the petty 'politics' of a region. Plus the RPing and serious discussion is not that bad either.

If I remember right, you get more options to go libertarian and anarchist as time goes on.
If you are committed to anarchy then you'll need to take options that are not socialism in any sense at first, even callous responses to social issues.

The idea of the game is that it is a single player interactive, the only things others can do to you is take your region if you are playing in one where anyone can join, usually the public regions.

All your choices affect the type of society you make. Funding a military increases government size and makes your citizens more aggressive.
