Don't worry about it as you'll earn more money then you can spend selling certain girl specific items. A few of the swords in particular are cheap to make but fairly expensive. They also give a nice synthesis score.

My suggestion would be to go for either Yuela or Emelita first as they're fairly amazing until the 2.0 stuff. Beast Yuela is something else 1v1 and the loli song attacks deal omni damage and debuffs.

If you liked Kamidori, try Final Fantasy Tactics (similar gameplay) or Sengoku Rance (different gameplay, but best porn game ever).

Depends on the mutate stat from your Workshop. Don't worry about it until you try to make resist necklaces or specific gear. It's not important until NG+.

It's a solid game, and a great game as far as porn games go by virtue of being a solid game, but the gameplay has a lot of issues and imbalances that prevent it from being more. Being able to use as many consumables as you want and switch around your entire skillset and equipment without even using a turn is retarded, and enemy turns will eventually take far, far too long while still needing your manual input for every attack so you better have fun clicking Defend 20 times in a row when some dickass ranged horde wants to do 1 damage each to your melee character.

A small list of items can randomly mutate into an upgraded version during synthesis. Resistance charms are the biggest example I think.

You're underselling Elftits. She gets Prevail in NG, which Flatland doesn't, and the songs are NG+ as well. Yuela a broken, Sera a great, Emelita a needs-lots-of-investment.

Leaving characters in reserve also recovers their HP/SP/TP, that's handy as well.

I think that Saigon was probably the closest to Hanoi. That was towards the start of the start of the game where you get your first branching path choice, so it was either the girls from India or the Pirates.

This game would be so much better if battle was resolved faster.
Even without animations waiting for the lifebar popup can take forever in missions with replicating slime or npc allies.

Strategy games tend to be quite slow paced, user. This one is pretty fast when compared to the rest of the genre.

Not going to lie. I would rate this one of the best PC games of all time. This and Sengoku Rance, despite not supposed to be serious commercial entries by a pubilsher with marketing and expecting critical praise, are top tier games and would be fit in any respectable top 100 PC games right near the top.

Kamidori gameplay is too simplistic and easy to be considered a great game. It's good game, but not great. Sengoku Rance, however has everything that makes a game great: gameplay, story, writing, characters, immersion, music and replayability are all top notch.

What are you talking about? Sharty was weak as fuck even with good gloves compared to other girls. She was only even decent against angels in late game stuff but at that point you have the Eushully girls and higher level girls like Mylen and the fairy chick anyway.

Yea that was pretty much her only saving grace. With right equips and good moves with HP vamp. She still had the strength of a wet noodle though. Mostly because you got her super early before you could get the bracelet or necklace to double up on lvl up stats.

On first playthrough Sharty is really strong, but on NG+ content she's awful. Aht's always garbage, the twins are always garbage. Others vary in strength, except dragon who's 100% useless until NG+ where you can get him all of his ultimate equipment. Still, nothing beats the 3 chicks in terms of raw power or adaptability.

Some scenes aren't finished, but main route start-of-turn events are mostly done and the game is simple enough so that you can understand what's going on just by looking at CGs. True ends are a bitch and a half to get though.

There's no thought, reflexes, learning, memorization involved. You don't need creativity, multitasking or quick thinking to play this Kamidori. Failure is almost impossible. Makes the gameplay pretty bland.

She's great in NG+ and up once you get the Prevail III accessory and her accessory from the 90+ maps, but once you have both of those, there's no content left to do, so it's kinda pointless. Amazing in NG, but I already said that.

The Twins and Aht are shit tier. Low damage, low mobility, low survivability, no good skills. Sticking the prevail and ultimate accessories on them won't make them good for the 90+ maps.

Mainly because they lack the second accessory slot. Yuela in Godslayer with proper gems is decent but she still ends up fodder while Ragsmuena and Mylen will soundly outclass her even if you don't give them the tiara+their special item.

The elf is nice NG+ but bombardment doesn't have the punch or the (loli) debuffs for NG++

Debuffs you cast on enemies are meaningless though. Anything that isn't immune dies instantly, pretty much every mob that doesn't die in one round of combat is immune to debuffs come NG+. Rags is good, but you need the Prevail accessory and her ultimate accessory for her to survive and dish out damage.

Outside of the 90+ dungeons with the charm/instant death effects, Yuela is pretty much immortal and doesn't need much, if any, babysitting. Just send her somewhere and everything dies with no worries of her dying. She doesn't need offensive skills or offensive passives or whatnot, she can easily chop through everything with just auto attacks when you stack Prevail and Undress.

Servalwi's a bit lacking in damage if you don't feed her Str stones, but she makes for an excellent cleanup unit for whatever survives the turn or as an excellent defensive unit because of Seal. Leave her ass on the base and just kill whatever gets close before it becomes a threat.

Loli hits hard but her defensive stats are so fucking low that she often finds herself dead if her counters come up with a Shield or Cover proc.

Yuela > Mylen > Asmodeus > elf tits > loli > Will > Suina in terms of attack/defense/utility for NG+. Things change once you get the Prevail Bracers + unique accessories, but at that point it doesn't matter since there's no challenge left.

You'd think so but the loli song applies just about every debuff in the game and fuck me if some of them don't stick. And again fuck me if taking say ~60% DEF/RES/ATT of an extremely powerful enemy or paralyzing him for a round or two doesn't matter.

Well like I said, reducing stats and debuffs don't matter when you're cutting through everything almost instantly in the first place. And most of the 2.0 stuff is immune to most debuffs. AKA, applying debuffs to enemies is a non factor.

Will doesn't have any good skills outside of Double Action, so he's worse than Yuela by default. No idea how you could even suggest that he's a better fighter than her.

Killing trash mobs is like 99% of the game and Servalwi's good at it. She's literally immune to every enemy in the game once you get Seal + her 9 range skill. If you feed her the Str stones, she'll do decent dmg while being 100%, completely invulnerable.

The 4 maids don't have much going for them in the skill or stat departments. Their ultimate weapons are pretty nice, but you can only get them after clearing everything, so they're pointless.

Let me put it another way: the only way for Yuela to die is on hard mode, on NG+, is by fighting a high level boss like Asmodeus or the bird demon that has Prevail III or if she 1 shots herself on Reflect III. And that's without using Fountain of Youth.

Or let me put it another way: Yuela is so powerful she makes TG Cid from FFT look like a wimp.

What resistances did you put on your Yuela? Godslayer Armor/Chronos Gem gives her S resistances on everything which absolutely does make her facetank everything that doesn't use Omni, and the only time I remember that being a massive issue was Advent Bay's slime squad.

I managed to run this game on wine with everything working.
The performance is a lot worse though so my core duo can't handle running this game in fast move mode, which makes everything take 8 times longer.

It was also hard to setup.
You have to do some stuff with changing registry entries and installing winetricks in a specific order on a specific wine version.

This is NG++ on hard. No fountain of Youth, although she's been fed a bunch of of the CON stones.

Fully voice acted VNs are massive because of the dozens and dozens of hours of sounds.

That's how many turns per one of those? Ragsmuena for example can vorpal up to a few dozen (realistically 2-3 if they're really stacked) on their turn (!) while being protected from instadeath, omni and shit like direcharm. Then she gets her regular turn.

You're playing Yuela like a Will who lacks almost all support/utility skills and has a shittier weapon.

2.0 armor

Here's Ragsy. Keep in mind that all of these mobs are immune to instant death attacks and that Rags has far, FAR worse resists and weapon and passive choices compared to Yuela. She also can't use Double Action + Prevail + Full's.

It's cute how you're using the ultimate sword and stone roids for Yuela but not the Burial Scythe tier for Rags. Regardless, Rags has more vorpal attacks then any other char in the game, including Mylen. And thanks to Aroduc vorpal attacks =/= instant death attacks. (one insta kills with an effect and the other hits for 999)

Yuela rules NG because of her high EVA and high damage. Then enemy chance to hit catches up with her ~50 and completely overtakes her EVA by 90. Now of course if you artificially roid her stats she'll be stronger, but so will any other "generic fighter" that has the added benefit of their special item + tiara/whatever else they need at the moment.

Also, related is my Will. Wanna bet he'd wipe the floor with your Yuela?

Played Kamidori several years back when it was semi flavor of the month on halfchan.

Ended up putting 200 hours into it and 100% it, fun game, just don't do expert mode (or hard, whatever it is called), on your first play through, you need 100% perfect RNG on levelups and combat just to beat the first tutorial dungeon boss. It's meant for NG+

Shame how things get so unbalanced once you get into NG+ territory. Wil + The three heroines in their NG+ costumes for them OP skills, and then the NG+ characters shit all over the regular characters to the point they are basically useless.

And then you get those Deep Mine (whatever that place was called) levels where you are forced to use them.

I recall the regular characters getting an ultimate accessory type thing that gave them some decent skills and resists, but it still didn't compare to main characters+ NG + people. Given enough grind everyone gets their own ultimate accessory and an ultimate weapon. The main problem primary characters have is how they're likely to be the highest level fags on your team so their stats are not optimized and how one of their slots is locked by their outfit.
Some of the new crew also happen to have bullshit stats and abilities in general.

And yeah, Mylen is something else even among the NG++ crew.

Don't have M skill on Rags and the goal isn't to show outgoing dmg, it's to show incoming dmg. Vorpal are also mostly irrelevant, I think the only mobs they make a significant difference against on NG+ are gobles? Since she can't get Double Action + Prevail III + Full's, she's also a far worse farmer than Yuela. Yuela can also use the movement gems or the resist gems to partially counter Rag's mobility or completely crush her on the defensive side.

Outgoing damage is rarely the issue in NG+ if you're at the appropriate level for the content, what matters is surviving while killing enemies. Yuela can survive just fine, even on hard, in situations where Rags just falls over dead. And she still kills stuff quickly.

NG doesn't really matter. It's just so damn easy. Yes, stacking evasion on Yuela is great until you get Prevail and yes she's a monster in NG compared to everyone else and she ends up being overleveled which trivializes the game. But NG is a complete joke in terms of difficulty. Yuela shines in NG+ because she can run around and mop up all the 2.0 content with little difficulty by just using Prevail. Once you unlock Undress and Double Action, you just breeze through everything, even the lvl90 areas. But here's the thing: once you've cleared all the 90+ areas and cleared the entirety of the mines, there's no longer any point to boosting stats through the Fountain of Youth or to farm ultimate accessories in the 90+ maps since there's nothing else to do at that point. Which means that until you reach the "nothing else to do" point, Yuela maintains top spot as your strongest character. Anything else beyond that is just semantics.

Not only that, you've said it for a game where there's no thought or skill involved and where results can be boiled down to a mathematical formula. You also grinded like crazy, which baffles me because there's nothing that requires grinding.

She's a wee bit fragile on NG+ hard difficulty compared to Asmodeus, but ya she's a fucking beast once you get her.

It doesn't matter when you're amulet re-leveled 99 with over 9000 eaten stat stones but it means a lot while you're actually doing that content.

Unlike the loli who's broken as is and the elf who can stand back, Yuela has one hell of a time transitioning to NG++. Check and tell me it's the same bloody Yuela you have or you had the first time around you started doing 2.0 content.

I've played from scratch twice. First time was when the translation came out. Hard drive failure, Kamidori saves sure as fuck weren't something I cared about enough to back up. Played through the whole thing again last summer. Both times Yuela just powered through NG+ on hard mode without any real issues outside of bosses with Prevail or killing herself on reflect.

And lose out on Prevail, which guarantees his loss. Don't think Will has access to Blood Suck either, meaning Yuela with equal stats would eventually win due to having better passives. If you say my shitty Yuela who hasn't used the Fountain of Youth or leveled up with the stat accessory, then ya your maxed out char might have a chance at winning, though I'd suspect it come down to Yuela forcing Will into using Reaper's Bane due to Vorpal Counter, taking no dmg because of Soul Shield + Prevail and then winning because of Prevail + Bloodsuck.

You're forgetting that he has access to prevail, pierce, vorpal counter, flash step, the 44 STR chill V regen V frozen hammer, high rune and more.

Not the same thing as 2.0 dungeons on hard and you know it.

I 100% the game way and spent 100+ hours on it back when it was first translated, and from what I recall Will ended up being god. A walking dungeon clearing god, capable of soloing even NG++.

Feels bad when I don't have my savefile anymore. Feels real fucking bad.

Will can only get Prevail from Troll Hammer (lol) or from his accessory slot. Vorpal Counter means he needs to Reaper's Bane, aka no Prevail for him since Meister Hammer's Soul Shield would be better. If he doesn't have Soul Shield OR Prevail, Yuela is guaranteed to win because she can have Prevail and Soul Shield and Blood Suck which have a compounding effect on her survivability.

The 2.0 content on hard is more than doable with Yuela. Of course you don't rush in there and breeze through it, but you can get by just fine. Fish guy can easily hold the bases while Wil + 3 heroines clear the maps. It's consumable intensive since Wil, elf tits and loli get their shit pushed in and die all the time, but Yuela just pushes through smootly on her own. The hardest part in NG+ hard mode is actually doing the event with those 2 demon girls where you need to kill the two searavs while your main group holds off 5-6 ghosts respawning each turn.

Troll Hammer is still a better weapon then your bloodsuck enabling Black Sword and you're still comparing a truly maxed out character to one with less then half the max HP and other stats.
For example in the webm your Yuela didn't crit once and she actually missed, that Will is at a point where near every hit is a crit and he can't miss.

Prevail is worthless if the enemy pushes your shit in regardless, as proven by that dragon of yours. but this really is getting boring

Daiteikoku is a nice game if you rush it, ignore h-scene, and try to get to Yurop as fast as you can. I never got many h-scene, never developed any romance with other units.

Expanded my empire way too fast and had to face the Soviets from the North, Americans from the East, Britain from South West, and Mongols from the West. But, man it was really fun strategizing which ships goes to which area, which ships to develop etc. The end game is really boring, there's no more enemies left.

There was an expansion for it that you could only access the content of in NG+. You start out doing the same shit but part way through you get all this other optional stuff, and you can also put the game in expert mode for more challenge.

You don't really have a flat out time limit to complete the game till near the end where Xavier decides he is going to break the bridge. And even then there is an event that can delay it till your ready to fight the last boss. Had games drag into the 100s before.

War Uesugi and Houjou at the same time and focus on Houjou. When you take one of Takeda's neighboring territories, attack Uesugi. Scout, and if you see Kenshin deploy Rance to auto-win. Kenshin is always at the castle in the territory adjacent to Miko institute, so you can just auto-win. Defend against Uesugi until you get the "I came back from the mountain event" (conquer all of Houjou's battlefields except the castle ones in the meantime), attack Uesugi once (not sure if it matters) and wait until that faggot sends you the peace offer. Rush Uesugis, if everything goes right Takeda's Houjou conquest event won't trigger and you can conquer Houjou's second territory that's adjacent to Takeda next turn so that they won't conquer Houjous. From there on you can stall until you get Ran or do whatever the fuck else you wanna do.

Ah I had a feeling Takeda conquering Houjou was the trigger. Seems like a lot of trouble to go through just to stop Kenshin from getting raped and beheaded but I guess it's worth it.

Trigger for it is waiting 5 turns after a peace offer. If you don't conquer both Uesugi and Houjou one turn apart Takeda steps in and absorbs the other. You can't recruit any character from the absorbed faction.

On my first playthrough I just sat and repelled Kenshin's attacks while dealing with the mid game events. I think as long as you don't take there first territory you can fight Uesugi for as long as you want without triggering her rape/death scene.

I'm starting to remember shit now and the Uesugi and Houjou are different in that if Tekada conquers one you lose recruitable characters in both countries. Also accepting the alliance with Kenshin's uncle avoids the beheading scene altogether Kenshin just sort of disappears after Rance rapes her.

FE is rock, paper, scissor with RNG, your characters being able to get 1 shot, perma death, limited recruitment pool and somewhat limited xp gains (assuming no save scumming for arenas). And the few games in the series I played thoroughly all shared the single biggest no-no for strategy/tactical games: it spawned enemies out of thin air.
