Fullderp is a game where one of us declares himself the champ and takes a ragtag team of six Pokemon assembled by anons into an online competitive Pokemon battling simulator!
When the current champ calls "new champ", the first poster to claim it is our champ. The first six legal Pokemon suggested once champ has been claimed or "new team" has been called will be the team our champ uses to battle. Suggesters are not to make multiple suggestions for a team unless 15 minutes have passed since their last request, or if the champ specifically asks for re-requests. The champ will be battling in [Gen 7] Pokebank OU unless he specifies otherwise.
(Things are in an awkward testing phase at the moment. Regular formats will be determined sometime this month.)

I guess if it was sash Gengar but let me tell you this: Aiming for the kill on that turn would mean getting revenge killed the next turn and losing the game, whereas getting a Dragon Dance off would mean winning the game.
Gotta think two turns ahead. Just trying to hit what's in front of you is a good way to back yourself into a corner.
A Gengar that knows their opponent likes to start off by buffing. Thinking two turns ahead ain't half as smart if you don't remember the last turn back.

Hint: That'll be about 80-99% of the time, depending on the champ.
Also, the average of 1 and 5 is lower than the average of 2 and 5.
I think the real question is why he has Brave with no attack EVs.
The entire set is just a mess.
He has no attack evs because he wants to make it bulky pre-boost and get stronk through power split.
The average of 1 and 5 is very very slightly lower than the average of 1.1 and 5. But neither of those analogies are relevant when we have the actual numbers; araquanid's base attack with a 31 IV is 176. Brave gives it another 17, for a total of 193. Lets say you power split with a physical attacker that Araquanid can switch in on, like Adamant Arcanine. The average of 176 and 350 is 263, the average of 193 and 350 is 271.5. A + attack nature in that situation gives you a whopping 8 additional attack, or 3%. Meanwhile, an ev-invested Araquanid will gain 36 SpD or 28 Def from their respective boosting natures.
Because I'm an autist who can't let things like this slide:

This is a better spread that achieves what you were aiming for. It maximizes its defenses (HP is worth more than defenses, and the rest are put into the weaker of its two defenses so it can defend itself against both types of attacks better).
Minimum possible speed lets it counter Trick Room (or at the very least, act as an emergency counter to trick room teams).
For the last move, Spider Web is a really, really bad move. You don't really want to trap anything with this mon since it gets very little benefit from it. Instead, you could run Infestation: Similar to Spider Web, but also provides some extra damage on top of trapping the enemy. You don't want to be sitting in front of the enemy for very long, so the extra damage goes a long way.

This alternate EV spread maximizes attacking potential, which is always nice to have on an offensive powerhouse like Araquanid.
You could also go Adamant instead of Brave/Relaxed if Trick Room isn't a priority.

Which actually lowers his attack to its lowest possible point, so that Power Split can potentially ruin an opponent's physical attacker while also buffing Araquanid to great levels.
And, in that last slot, you could swap trapping out for something better like Scald, Toxic, Substitute, etc. that give him some extra utility. It's nice to give the champ options.

Regenerator is what makes Toxapex a nightmare. He can switch in and out and much as he wants.

She's in a strange spot in my opinion. She's oddly fragile for Ubers, but obviously too powerful for OU.

Best case scenario that is
She, much like Deoxys, Darkrai, and Landorus-I, is not meant to be taking hits. Unlike those pokemon (except Landorus in rare cases), she carries U-Turn which lets her get out of sticky situations while dealing a significant amount of damage on the switch.
Having said that, she does feel like she lacks some of the presence other ubers have, but she's far from outclassed up there.
