This. I think Fascism is on Europe's horizon, not socialism. I also think a big shift to the left is coming in the U.S. Not necessarily socialism, but a big social democracy wave is coming down the pipes. As far as I can tell the best option for actual socialism of some kind is Turkey and Rojava. Once the war in Syria ends its likely that Assad will grand autonomy to the Kurds, which will likely lead to Russian weapons and advisors going in and supporting the YPG and PKK. We may well see an independent socialist Kurdistan carved out of Turkey.
