This is pretty good advice, although response videos are usually low-effort. If you're going to do them don't do that thing where you just do off-the-cuff responses to shit they say point by point. Do an actual debunking, organized according to the actual content and ideas presented. Definitely back it up with sources as much as possible. Definitely don't let on to being a radical leftist. Go nuts with the thumbnail and title though. Clickbait will bring in more views. Embrace it and use titles like "ANNIHILATED - Will Stefan Molyneux Ever Recover?"

A bunch of the people that the youtubers you named make fun of in their videos are wholly unrepresentative of both the activists fighting for those causes in question, and the left in general.
