I started browsing here about two years ago, helped me transition from a bleeding heart liberal into a proper lefty. At the same time tho I was working on a novel. Even though I was a liberal when it started, the conflict was all about class warfare. That is, a group of revolutionary anarchists and a conspiracy of proto-facists both trying to destroy a republican government during an industrial revolution.
As you probably guessed from my trip, I'm also the editor of bunkermag. I first volunteered for it in part because I wanted more editing and writing experience.
Just recently got it published. Catgrill drawfag even did the cover for me! I figured you lot might be the sort interested in this kind of story.
Are you Spaniard or from Latin America? I ask because of your name.
Wyatt Howard
Dank you
Amerifat now, but family comes from Mexico and south Texas.
Jayden Turner
You have to go back.
William Thomas
nah, I think I'll stay. It's comfy here

Fugg. I just bought a bunch of books from amazon… I'll put it on my list of books to get to in the future though.
Jayden Foster
Thanks fam, I appreciate it.
As an FYI for everyone else, the ebook is just 3.99. I also set it up so you can share it with whoever you want without amazon spurging out.
Brayden Gonzalez
tbh the blurb sounds terrible. How long is it?
Ethan Rivera
What about it sounds terrible? I can always go back and fix it.
It's 477 pages long.
Carson Young
Also, I realized my tripcode was wrong, just fixed it

I meant the story doesn't sound very interesting and nothing that stands out from regular genre fiction.
But for the blub, the last paragraph has too many elements that people can lose interest. Omit his arch-rival and mention more details about Praetorian Guard or Anarchists.
But I do admire your tenacity. I have given up on stories much much shorter than yours (129 pages). Plus I am somewhat bitter coz I too thought a story of a Strinerfag and his property roaming around a decaying Republic struggling with class warfare
Evan Bell
So who is going to post the pdf
Brody Rogers
Nice, post pdf
CHI
Bentley Mitchell
Those aren't bad ideas, although his arch-rival is a big part of the story… he actually works with the head of the Praetorian guard though. Maybe I could mention the fact they are working together? There's also an aspect to it that the Praetorian guard are a big part of the class struggle, in that the industrialists use them to discipline the labor force, break up strikes, arrest labor organizers, and are the principle opposition to the anarchists.
And thanks. It took about 4 years to get this thing finished. The MC isn't really a stirnerfag although the anarchists have a sort of egoist bend to their ideology. I do have another story idea of a character inspired my Max who owns a haunted mansion and has to stop his sister from using spooks and an enchanted poker card from taking over the continental United States.
Liam Long
Tell ya what, if ya'll promise to give a nice star rating on amazon and goodreads, I'll post the PDF. Deal?
Carter Adams
Yes that will make it stand out from the sea of 'Hero's Journey' genre fiction out there.
Caleb Taylor
Sounds cool, I like alt history. Are you familiar with Red Star? It's basically a pre-fujoshi-bait Final Fantasy world which reached the modern age and Cold War.
Daniel King
Good job, OP
Joshua Barnes
No I'm not but that sounds interesting. I'll take a look. Thanks.
I wanted something about the premise of the story to really stand out, and since I was taking Latin at the time, the image of an industrial ancient Rome with all the traditions and idiosyncrasies clashing with turn of the century technology really stood out to me. In hindsight, I can see that it colored a lot of the conflict in the book. As the Senate is split between an aristocratic faction and an industrialist faction, the aristocratic faction often uses the worker's frustrations and their demands as leverage against the industrialist faction.
Camden Peterson
Done and done You already got 5 stars on both sites, from a bunch of reviewers. So please post pdf.
Carter Garcia
We have a deal
Austin Ross
Wait you mean before and after reading it? I can do both
Gavin Jones
I'd appreciate a written review after you read it, but stars for now would be appreciated.
James Rogers
I'll read it and get a fag I know to review it to a niche community of pseudo-intellectuals.
Isaac Flores
Alright here's the PDF
Camden Collins
Oh yeah, I just remembered Age of Decandence. It doesn't involve gommies or anything, but are an unusual take on a Roman world. I've been told it's GOTYAYEY but I haven't tried it yet.
Lincoln Clark
It was OK, but it took them fucking forever to release it and turn-based with only one character is shit tbh.
Cooper Gutierrez
Fuck, thank you man. If possible, send me an email when he does that, reviews are super important in this business
Jonathan Morgan
Sent him a pdf and your address. He's not really big but he reaches people you probably wouldn't access from Holla Forums.
He recommended this to me a while back, you may want to give it a read, it seems kinda similar to what you wrote.
I'll give it a once over, looks interesting. Thanks fam.
Are any of your friend's reviews online, by any chance?
Ryder Ward
So this is kinda like what happens when Plato's Republic starts crumbling?
ps nice job OP, good to know this board has some talent besides memes.
Jeremiah Jackson
Please epub, PDF sucks on phone and e-reader.
Jonathan Moore
That's actually a pretty apt way to describe it.
Same deal with PDF. Rate it on goodreads/amazon and I'll hand it over.
Jason Bailey
Of course it's a fucking market "socialist" who tries using Holla Forums as an marketing platform.
Jace Jenkins
he provided the .pdf already faglord
Nicholas Sanders
ok, so Holla Forums doesn't like epubs for some reason does anyone know a platform that can temporarily host that sort of thing? Otherwise you can email me and I'll send it to you.
I try not to go overboard. You're welcome to check for yourself tho
Jackson Cooper
OP, you are a pretty cool guy. Will read.
Jaxon Diaz
No user, you're a pretty cool guy.
Bentley Perry
Hey is it true that catgrill drawfag left the board because she became disgusted by it? i can't blame her if that is true tbh
Christopher Rodriguez
Nah, she's just been busy with work and deadlines and real life.
Henry Davis
Bookzz.org is a large collection and they respond to takedown requests. Also one bigtorrent.org
Colton Campbell
Finished the prologue. So…magic and gods are real in this world? Didn't expect that.
Samuel Howard
Oh yeah, I might have forgotten to mention that. Magic's a big part and I sort of use it to set the tone and do some world building as every time a character uses magic they have to either tell a story or a poem. On a more meta level, if it weren't for magic in the story the liberal attempts to fix things would have ended much worse.
