My only real complaints about Valk-chan is that I wish she got an anti-air weapon. All she has is anti-vehicle and not even decent anti-vehicle weapons unless you get up close with a Helion. If the Wyvern could pump out more rounds I would be more okay with it. Then again a Valkyrie's strength is the rumble seats which no one will organize anything with you. ;_;

Seriously, every time I try to snipe a fucking MAX with the AM rifle I get two hits in 5 seconds and then die to some BR 1 infiltrator or killed by an ESF that gets somehow reverse-maneuvers unti it's 5 meters away from me without being noticed by anyone in the fight.
I use the Archer as a CQC/medium range weapon for the most part. Now hear me out before I lose you. If you place one shot on a MAX then you have either two choices. You throw nades/tank mines at them and back the fuck away or run the fuck away and reload. Usually pulling out your sidearm is pretty useless. How I act with an Archer is more like a trapper trying to bait the MAX into doing stupid shit like turning his attention to me so he doesn't notice the 5 different Heavies loading up their rockets or get them to charge into me where I've set up 6 gorrillion tank mines around a corner. I don't see the Archer as a hugely great long range weapon unless you like pushing back MAXs and not killing them.

I play on a gtx660 and usually get around 45-90 fps, for most 12-24 fights it'll be 70-ish. It only drops to 30 in really packed fights and almost never goes below 30.

Would be even better if we could create platforms alongside mountainsides, or fight in places that are essentially a deeper version of the impact site in Indar.

Once you get the basics like class essential tools like the heal tool and repair tool, AA rocket and general rocket for the heavy, just get whatever you want based on your playstyle.

I'd say Skyguard is a good investment. A lightning can move faster, take more damage, and deal more damage to aircraft than a Burster MAX or G2A Heavy. Normally, people can just roll up in libs and bomb convoys and offenses with impunity, since earlygame players don't really have much of a way to fight aircraft outside of AA turrets.
Lightnings are still very vulnerable though, due to having a longer profile to hit, and it can take only a single C4 to destroy a lightning. Certing isn't too necessary for the Skyguard besides the cheapest available, since Skyguards won't be able to reliably hit anything past vertical lock on distance, but they're still much better than infantry G2A if you're not aiming high up. Skyguards are also still very capable of killing ground vehicles. I haven't compared TTKs between it and the Basilisk, but if the Basilisk is better at anti-infantry, you can just leave that shit to friendly infantry, or just run them over.
If you find yourself driving or parking Sunderers, think the Walker or whichever AA gun with flak is fairly decent, but you'll be a bigger priority target simply for being a Sunderer, and a bigger, slower target.

Even if that is the case, nothing can reliably solo a sunderer. A liberator might, but they will end up very low hp, ESFs just flat-out can't. And that's with one gunner, if you have both turrets manned, they need multiple aircraft shooting you to stand a chance. Also worth mentioning that the lightning is very weak from the rear, whereas the sunderer doesn't have any such weak points. You're also able to equip much better utilities for the sunderer, either extra armor for survival or ammo dispenser/repair module for more shekels.
Whenever I'm manning a vulcan in a harasser a skyguard is food.

I don't think I've ever seen a skyguard fight ground vehicles unless they were about to be killed. They usually end up getting killed anyway.

Tacticool squads have people who actually listen and follow orders - very good, very important.
But when you've got idiots issuing those orders it doesn't work anymore. Now the individual players are better off doing their own thing because following orders is just time consuming, pointless, and gets them farmed.
A quick example from personal experience:
If you are leading a squad of average players, do not put them against mlgpros. That's just stupid and frustrates everyone
Do not take 5+ minutes to get the squad going to the next base. It shouldn't even take 30 seconds
If some asshat is taking more than 30 seconds to get in your transports when you're preparing to leave - LEAVE HIM BEHIND
Take the fight to the enemy, don't dick around waiting for him to attack you when he's prepared. Preparation time always favors the attacker and allows him to exploit defensive weaknesses. The best example of this is biolabs where you should literally just rush the biolab spawnroom with the entire squad and only have 1-2 guys doing the generator and SCU. Don't give the enemy any room to do anything if you can help it.
Basically a lot of people in the tacticool outfits play and lead like sheep, and that is the actual reason tacticool stuff sucks compared to dicking around and having fun in 'who gives a fuck' type of squads.

It's just next to impossible to get anyone to gun for you in this game. It's a blessing and a curse, because most people are bads and fire at everything they see, even if it's an aircraft ten miles out. Maxed out Vehicle Stealth isn't going to save you if enemies see tracers from your vehicle going straight up

I haven't put any certs into it since I'm wanting to finish out an AA max, but I'm pretty sure turbo is typically picked up so you can get in and out of fights faster. Please max out the reload and ammo on the Vulcan, and be sure to periodically stop to top off the gunner ammo.

I don't know if you're supposed to waste 3k into both bursters and then another 1500~ into lockdown and go to a 96/96+ fight to be useful but tbh it's pretty shit when you're starting.
I've spent about 2000 certs on the Bursters because the sole attachment doesn't carry over. I'm only really certing into it since I'll be able to use the lockdown to shit all over infantry once I get other weapons for it.
No burger can survive this kind of lead.

It's even worse for Sunderer turrets.

The game really punishes both F2Ps and beginners, if you decide to do stupid shit like impulse buy after getting killed or you don't carefully plan your cert "path" by the time you're BR 15, you'll end up fucking your character pretty bad.
I've got a NC alt and it's ANT is a fucking murder machine with a good driver, and it's not even a "combat" ANT, it's the kind of shit that you drive around with rank 4 scout radar and stealth to farm infiltrators or even park it under a biolab and AFK while you earn exp whenever someone within 100m dies.
If they increased the amount of certs people get or make things cheaper it would help, but then they'd lose the good goy points. I've been slowly stacking stealth and scout radar on a flash just to farm exp.

Relaod speed for the vulcan. Mag Size is horrible, your gunner generally reloads often mid-fight because if you're chasing over hills you can't fire anyway.
Turbo because you rely on speed to survive and it lets you get away from everything but another Harasser and maybe a Flash, but >Flash vs. Harasser
Also get the Fire supression maxed soon. That thing is a real livesaver.

Well, I've said this before: If you can't play without friends, just stop playing.
You won't be able to get a good group of people to play with until everyone in the group legitimately enjoys playing the game even if they're playing by themselves. At which point people all get online to play by themselves, notice that everyone else got online to play by themselves, and everyone starts having fun playing together instead.
If you want to roll with wwew but you check to see if anyone is online first and then decide not to play when they aren't - you are part of the problem.
Either start enjoying the game on your own or quit playing a game you hate. Seriously.
The heal over time meant that medkits have effective invincibility frames where damage done to the player was either dropped by the server entirely (an issue I've noticed with DoT effects when the skyshield burning kills you slowly instead of quickly) or instantly healed over by the medkits healing you to full hp.
The assumption with this change is that an instant heal will remove invincibility frames and similar effects, but it's still an assumption.
And it doesn't fix the actual problem of players having 2500hp sitting in their pocket ready to crutch them out of any situation they've blundered and overextended into.
If you go by reddit self-reporting, only 1 in 20 players are actually cheating.

Not really. They slow you down when you chug them though, so everyone bunny hops when they do to mitigate the loss of momentum.

Fury vs. Marauder.
So basically Marauder is basically the more accessible version of the Fury when it comes to AI, and in my opinion it trades a lot of versatility to do so since not being able to damage all armor is a huuuuge downside to me.

I was thinking about either modules that can be placed multiple times or turrets to make the most out of my AI module. It takes 2k to unlock the terminals and 1.5k for the tube which is way too expensive and I don't really have a place to put it.
I'll probably go with this order:
Alarm Modules or blast walls fit the multiple placement/low cost criteria but I don't really see them helping a push in the same way the others I previously mentioned do.
Anti-infantry terminal in the middle of your base with an AI aiming module will do more to protect your base than automated gun turrets that target vehicles
When your base is under attack it will be swarmed by infantry/LA's etc, I've racked up insane kills with the AI turret with an AI module and 2 repair modules fucking up infantry all day long
Park a repair sunderer by it and watch the kills and certs to through the roof while you sit back and do nothing but keep your sunderer alive
I'm using the magazine size upgrade because I figure the point of the Vulcan is to do as much damage as possible before reloading, instead of reloading faster. Also, I find people just look at the 8 number by itself and think that's not enough without comparing it to the damage of the weapon. That's 1,336 more damage per reload.
True, but the amount of times you fully empty your magazine is much lower than the amount of times you reload.
Keep in mind the Vulcan can hardly aim down when currently on high ground and while evading fire may easily break LOS to the target, both oppertunities to reload.
I've reloaded the Vulcan more than I've emptied the Vulcan tbh.

When coupled with shield modules, pillboxes have a great price (1000 certs for 2) and should serve their function better than freaking bunkers themselves, but the infantry tower (1500 for 1) gives you a massive height advantage, but both are shit and don't really enable lockdown MAXes to shoot at aircraft. Vehicle gates should be enough to protect MAXes provided they actually block everything but small arms.
AV seems like a solid choice when you have someone with Marker I using it, and you have an active scout radar somewhere.

MSW-R is so fucking good even though it's classes as an LMG. It's basically an assault rifle with a 50 round magazine.
For side arms, the stock repeater is good, but my favorite is by far the inquisitor. It has a ridiculously huge magazine a the two round burst is lethal and accurate.
You just don't stop winning when you get a gunner with Marker I, that knows how to abuse third person and understands that he can't snipe with bulldogs.
Kobalts may be good against infantry but they can't do shit against MAXes, unless you're fighting a cuck that sits while someone empties a kobalt mag on him.

As far as TR is concerned, the default weapons seem to do everything fine (except for the Infilshitter's rifle). Many of their weapons seem to be "default gun with a twist" (like the ADS speed and hipfire on the Jaguar, the 50 rnd mag and hipfire on the MSW-R), sprays a lot of bullets but the weak rounds don't hit anything (the lynx, strangely the TRV has some accuracy), shitty sustained fire mid range weapon with better CQC stats for some reason (T5 AMC, Rhino, Bull, basically anything the NS guns would do), and a poor man's attempt at NC guns that perform like shit and only give consistent kills when you're lucky (SABR, Cougar, TMG).
The NC get weapons all across the RoF/Damage spectrum and can fit nearly any role a player would find themselves in. Plus they're the only faction with a unique set of weapons (their 200 dmg guns with zero cone of fire on the first stationary shot). Meanwhile the Tranu get almost as much weapon variety as NC but they don't have the drawbacks like projectile drop giving them far more accuracy than anything that isn't one of the aforementioned 200 dmg NC guns.

I've tried HA, maybe I just need a better gun or to get gud, though it feels like im missing something cause most people take a lot more bullets to drop than I do.
I don't think the guns i've got so far have burst fire, just single shot or automatic for most. And I generally try to do that, mostly by aiming at chest and moving upwards instead of risking it for a quick headshot and missing.
