I would recommend either Altair or Lilele. Both of them synergize with each other and your other SSR's. Altair is also getting his 5th star soon. Lancelot is a staple but he's another attacker which might conflict with your current team. Katalina is also core but she is Legfest exclusive.

Altair caught my eye earlier so maybe I'll go with him.

I have yet to draw Marduk once as a dirt main because holy fucking shit my luck with these event gachas is absolute trash. I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but I've just been informed today that his call buff stacks with H. Eustace's 3rd skill (who I have thanks to rerolling and will probably never swap out of my team until much later on). Would it be worth it to burn berries until I get the 1st summon even though magfest is about to start or is there a better/equivalent farmable summon I could use for a similar call effect?

There is no other farmable summon like marduk, if you main earth you better unleash your full autism to MLB that shit.

Magnafest comes around once a month, this event will probably be back in 1-2 years.

I recently switched to earth and i feel your pain, had to clear out my first two drawboxes completely and i'm halfway in my third. It depends on how many berries you have and how much honor as well. At 1.2 million you'll get a guaranteed summon.
The only somewhat similar summon i can think of is Tezcatlipoca, who has a small chance to give Earth ATK UP in addition to his Defence Down. You should look in to him regardless since he is one of the best Earth summons at the moment since his aura gives your team 100/120% ATK UP as long as your team contains 3 different races and you can ticket him.

There's no way I'm MLBing him with the time I have left and only 200ish berries. I had no idea he was so valuable to my element until today. I just want at least one copy so I technically wouldn't have to wait until the rerun to eventually max him. I would gladly marathon this shit for the next 30 hours if I had the resources to do so, but I totally don't.

I know about the power of Tezca, but I just started last month so I need to ticket a full team first and have just been trying to friend people with him for now. Speaking of ticketing, my start dash is going to come back either shortly before or shortly after the surprise ticket so I should get to fill out of my team sometime in the next few weeks. If you're planning to spark Eugen slowly starting the grind would not be a bad idea but should in no way be a priority. Ele-changing the spear is a good idea since earth lacks any non-gacha SSR spears. I'm currently farming for Sarasa i'm somewhat timegated by blue sky crystals and it has not exactly been fun.
As for the Baha sword, it's more of a thing for later on in the game when the cosmos-synergy comes in. As long as you don't upgrade the dagger it should be fine.

Just to let you 2 know, the Holla Forums guild isn't one of those try hard guilds but we try our best and participate in events/gw. Strike times are at 10 am (jst) and 1 pm (jst)

I still think the beginner ticket should be $15 instead.

If you started the game with a good SSR you don't really "need" to ticket shit until you reach late game and since it takes like 300-400 hours to reach endgame i say spending $30-60 bucks is worth specially compared to current vidya price vs playtime.

There is also the chance that you get good characters from the free rolls or you can just farm GW chars to round up your endgame comps instead of using any real money.

The only people who care about spending loadsa money on this game are nip gambling addicts and unironical e-sports faggots.

Friendly reminder that the event starting tomorrow, the homoknights part1 rerun, is renewed into the new event format, it's not longer based around mini and big boss raids, it's now single player fights like the rotating primals, Cerberus/Fenrir or most collabs, while this is a hit to newbies, do try to get as far as possible in the event to get the damascuss fragments(3 of them) as this can really speed up your weapon pool progression

Because it's the HL raids, they only have about 6 spots in them, with Baha being an exception allowing a bit more than 10(I think?) but also being the hardest fight in the game, you need to have at least a few high level, high power players with other jobs for things like esuna. So obviously if the guy comes in and just uses Yoda and Sarasa, he's only going to deal a bit of damage and not contribute to the rest of the fight, so that's a dead spot

You also want to unlock all the classes to give yourself more options. In general, the MC has the strongest version of any skill that he can get, which makes the MC your biggest asset in customizing a party the way you want it.

It's normally used as a reset against bosses who buff up, but in HL fights there's usually a second phase where everyone has to phalanx and shield from the boss' attack. Legfest refers to Legendary Festival which is held the last days of every month, during this festival draw rates for SSR are doubled(3% outside legfest 6% during legfest)

You should only care about Christina if you have a full tiamat grid+strong wind attackers but no support chars.

Anat and the sword are totally worth it, be sure to not sell or use that sword as fodder because it will save you a LOT of grinding for 4th row classes.

Someone else can probably explain it better than me, but its something to do with the VA and how the licensing costs for a release. Its easier/cheaper for them to just add a translation to the nip version.

If they can't put it on the English stores, why bother translating it at all? English speaking players must be a small fraction of the total player base

Its probably a bigger percentage than you're thinking. And its not just the US and UK that speak English. There's a reason stuff like DoA Xtreme 3 had the English translation for its China release.

Apparently they tried it before with a past game and it bombed really hard, so they're not bothering anymore. Why would you even WANT a licensed translation anyway? That just opens the door to drama and censorship.

But do they actually want English speaking players? I'd have thought that the Japanese would be their target audience, being as it is a Japanese game.

Why wouldn't they? Japanese people aren't the only people who spend money on mobile games. And you can only get whales so many times in one country before you need to do something different to start getting money again. And its easier to just reach another audience with your existing product.

That's one of the lesser weapons for wind. You'll want to upgrade Tiamat bolts and maybe use fists as filler in your grid. As you can see the spear gives HP as a skill that is not really necessary, ATK is much better. The Tiamat guns are some of the best Magna weapons since it gives Medium ATK and Small Enmity (ATK up as HP decreases) a much sought after combination.

the only reason tiamat bolt are so loved is because they are fucking guns not because of the skills guns are the best type of weapons for stats

Don't level them up to much. I'd say 5 at max, if you're struggling. You can use those SR's as fodder later.

Don't dark players run something like 4 axes, 2 claws in their grids nowadays? I know people don't run full claw because at a certain HP level your damage gets capped and you would be better of with more axes since they give better stats.

You upgrade summons by rolling the same summon on the gacha(Or having it drop, but Lich doesn't drop).
Animas are for the 4* uncap only.
