Admin, server owner: Tummble (Kaho The Lewd) bought a server goys 7 Days to Die is a zombie/voxel/survival game made by the Funpimps. The objective is to survive a zombie apocalypse, build a base against the horde that comes every 7 days (called a feral night), or if you are wanting a real challenge, can be a nomad and fight against the horde w little to no protection. While basing though this game becomes an illegal amount of comfy. One that devs actually care about, it recieves massive updates every few months with smaller ones following up until its stable. This one has been in early access for awhile indeed. As mentioned above this is a game that has been in alpha for a long time, but that is because the devs are working other jobs and this is more of a part time thing to them. Since owning it in alpha 7. I must say there isn't one thing these devs haven't fulfilled and they promise so much more. In the incoming updates they're promising roaming bandits, a lock picking system, and bandit gen structures. There is a lot these people want to implement into their game. In their YouTube videos they look at fan posts and talk about things they want to add just look at those vids for more details.
Current build Alpha 15: tons more added check release notes below.
sorry there was just a shit ton of typos in the previous threads. Just really bothered me.

Oh. That's nice.
Any rules or anything I should be aware of?
Christopher Johnson
Just don't nig people. Thats my only general rule
Colton Rodriguez
Ah cool. I might check later on and make a basement to hide in.
Nicholas Baker
okay just a quick note the 7 day horde might come like as soon as you log on. so rip. the server is 24/7 but for some reason days stop ticking when everyone is off.
Jose Anderson

Holy shit has it really been that long, I haven't played since the massive alpha 7 changes. Hows the game nowadays?
Jeremiah Cox
They fixed up tons. A shit ton of content really. they fixed up the crafting system so it just a simple press to craft rather than the old crafting table system. They added more items and more structures for building. They added spot lights. Honestly if you really want to know just check the release notes. They did add random gen which was bugging when it first came out because it used to have floating islands. But they fixed it so much. They make it feel more dragged on so you cannot rush end game fast. They added more books. New improved forging and cooking system. If you though alpha 7 was autism. Alpha 15 is even more because you can do much more than before. I make like prison structures or castles because its more convenient to keep zombies out. It really is nice. I suggest playing. They fixed scaling so its fixed to individual players unless they're in groups. So if its day 100 and its your first feral night or something when it happens. it'll scale easy for you.
Andrew Jackson
All I remember is when alpha 7 came out it was nigh impossible to survive the first night because the hordes would spawn in your base and never de-aggro, so I 'quit until they fix it' and just forgot about the game. Also they removed 'boat bases', so that sucked.
Benjamin Kelly
Okay so a quicker and more noticeable run down is.
In Alpha 15 they added a trader, apocalyptic currency (casino coins), players can make their own markets and sale their own goodies. For more check the release notes. Alpha 15 all around is THE LARGEST UPDATE they had. 7daystodie.com/alpha-15-release-notes/
In previous updates they added: A skill system like wurm skills (1-100) they have a leveling system which max level is (100, iirc). Every level you gain generally 5 points (some give like 6) and with these points you can pump in to their general skills like bladed weapons, blunt weapons, construction tools, or mining tools, there are more skills. Perks are all around useful costs 10 points - 15 points - 30 points. These perks are like mining 69'er (mine faster), quick fixer (upgrading and repairing animation is faster, repairing is cheaper each level.), bullets (yes learning to make bullets is perks, and gun smithing is what you need to level before being able to learn the perks). Simple crafting, simple forging, cement mixing, and upgrading from wood frame to bunker steel. Alpha 15 also added chemistry station which has unique recipes of its own and as well as that is cheaper to make gun powder than crafting. Certain biomes are now abundant w certain resources.
David Martin
Yeah there was constant running hordes i remember that in alpha 7. For horde and zombie behavior it runs on an A.I system. Also is more forgiving than before. The only major night zombies sense you no matter what is the feral night. The zombies sense no matter what then and its for everyone not just one person now back then that used to be a problem. High level more zombies that includes in towns. A.I spawns zombies more frequently if players have a higher heat map. Heat map is a system in which makes people more noticeable to zombies doesnt mean that you'll be sensed or hunted just means A.I will spawn zombies more frequently.
Using forge, campfire, chemistry station, mining, carrying smelly food. The worst of it though is being in a town or living in a pre-generated structure. not as bad as previous versions it can still occur if the heat map is high but generally wont happen over small things. Another way they compensated for this is the A.I will send a screamer instead. Which will pretty much increase heat map to 100% if you're spotted meaning she'll alert the A.I to spawn a horde immediately.

Why is it called "7 Days to Die"?
Levi Phillips
To be honest i wouldn't really know. I think its just a reference to the painful feral nights in which zombies sense you and rush to your base and start breaking down your structures and you have to fend em off, at least to my belief thats what i think the devs intended to have people think.
Charles Clark
is the server pirate friendly?
Bentley Ward
Shiet, I'll have to make some time to play when I get some free time. I went and got all normalfag with my life though, so I have a distinct lack of free time right now.
B/c loot respawns every seven days, I think.
Ryan Rivera
Every 7 nights a fucking horde comes to ravage you and your base. They know where you are and you can't hide for long. 7 days in game is what you get to prepare for the invasion.

I am trying to figure out how to get servers cracked. People are saying to do something similar to wurm with that steam emu. I know cracked servers exist but I am trying to learn some user tried helping me but the methods I tried using that he suggested didnt work. So all I need to do is find how the steam emu works.
Sebastian Torres
This.
What are the system requirements like? Can I run it on a toaster laptop or will I need to get off my arse and move to my desktop?
Ethan Hernandez
Its unity and I think you might have to go to desktop. If steam emu doesnt work either. I think when it goes for sale for 10 bucks again. I'll buy 10 copies and raffle em off on stream.
Jason Hernandez
Sounds neat
Joshua Wood
Friend of mine played it on a modern laptop (Sandy bridge?) just fine on the lowest detail.
I have a 7 year old Desktop (i7 920 HD5870) and can run it on medium/high comfortably.
Best tip I can give newfags is use Metal Grates and build yourself a Blunderbuss.
Austin Campbell
Has anyone played yet?
Hudson Rivera
theres a group playing quite a bit
Brayden Torres
Last time I played the worldgen was shit, generating steep, fuckhuge mountains with no natural transitions and patterny, square looking shit, most notably the roads that are too wide, straight and artificial looking.
Nolan Davis
Spooky
Jackson Rodriguez
The map seed is OyVey apparently there are services where you can see the seed. The one we currently have isn't bad
Levi Morgan
This game trully is a survival horror. One that makes you dig a hole in the ground, get in a fetal position and beg for being unnoticed.
