Apparently snipers are too hardcore for the Overwatch audience.

Snipers are already a niche role in the vast majority of shooters where they're much stronger. e.g. AWPs in CS are niche or pubstomping weapons. or TF2 Sniper is "viable" but not really used in competitive 5v5 because the skill cap is too high vs reward.

Widowmaker is good, where she is right now. Back then when she was able to one shot bodyshot a Tracer or a Zenyatta she was completely op.

that is never the case, i think the list is assuming 100% accuracy. its not counting headshots either. or else mei and reaper would be no different from tracer

I was referring to the fact that it's made in the quake 3 engine, and then brought it back to my point about there being a high skill gap.

I had figured merely saying cod was cloned from quake would have been enough for you to come to the conclusion on your own, and it would have been unnecessary to point out all the shit that makes up the skill gap that cod has, which you correctly deduced is relevant to most multiplayer competitive shooters, mainly as quake set the standard for the genre, at least in my opinion.

Regardless, your nitpicking over my use of the term quake clone doesn't detract from the fact that cod does have a high skill gap, at least before factoring in killstreaks and specialist abilities and whatever else shit they've added.

There's evidence of stuff like this in overwatch too, like Hanzo's sonic arrows, sombra's passive and Widowmakers ultimate as the other team have no possible method of countering these things. At least with everything else in the game, there's a potential counter for it.
As of right now, you can't evade, block or cancel out a wallhack.

I hope that'll be a feature of the next character to be introduced, at least I'd hope so, I want another tank in the game seeing as tank is currently the most limited category.
