No, they fucked the balance of a lot of missions and very lazily replaced tanks that were time-period accurate and replaced them with more-or-less equivalents from MoW:AS2 that are historically inaccurate because they couldn't be bothered to actually re-model the originals or didn't want to include the models for some reason???
The voice acting, despite being terrible in the original, is just flatly delivered in american accents instead, may as well just remove the voice lines entirely who fucking cares.
Just go play the original if you want to play the missions.
I pirated it then placed the files in a folder and ran it as a mod and it worked so this is piss-easy to pirate and even play on a legit copy of AS2 with other people online over steam. I EVEN HAD ONE OF THE DEVS JOIN MY GAME AND PLAYED A COOP MISSION WITH HIM ON A PIRATE COPY OF THE GAME.

I don't really play anything onm a regular basis currently that isn't already discussed in general type threads like Tree of Savior and Forza H3. There are some recent games that I've been wanting to play for quite a while but never actually do like Wargame ALB, Momodora, DCS.
I've been dabbling in some Eternal which is a MtG-like card game that's in beta. Seems pretty good, definitely more interesting than Hearthstone and the myriad of clones it spewed

Again, zero justification or proof to your claims. Magic is a game that's been going for decade and a half and still has tens of millions of players. Clearly they did something right. I have no reason to doubt that a game that shares some of its mechanics and is made by people who've built a career playing it couldn't make a good digital card game.

On the topic of MoW, hopefully Gates of Hell will be good. It's MoW with more focus on realism and hopefully better all-round mechanics. Won't look as shiny as AS2 however.

I kinda am hoping for Men of War: WW1 edition. The engine seems to be quite able to capture trench warfare well, I think.

Pen and paper RPGs do not have a pay to win business model, and grant far more freedom to their players to ignore or change the rules based on group preference.
They also haven't been replaced by a business model that does the same thing, but without faggotry.
Problem is that most old vidya did things better than the new shit.
Then the new vidya came along, did a few things better, but mostly fucked things up. It got some things right, and most of it wrong, and that just makes me hate them more, and worse, it makes me feel dissatisfied with the old games.

I like this game. It's licensed game for one of the most unoriginal attempts at a cash cow franchise, but Noise (yes, the Custom Robo makers) managed to make an amusing game with fun characters and a unique twist on the ATP formula.
Instead of attacking you can shift gears. This generally powers you up and is required to use some attacks. However certain attacks, both yours and the enemy, force you down in gears.
