Get a refund, play Morrowind instead.

Morrowind's got holes in it from the amount of time I sank into it over the years. I'm asking about Skyrim.

You don't get a mod pack. You learn how to manage your mods, and then chose the mods you want.

Fuck Skyrim.

You find mods you like the sounds of and try them out. That's all there is to it. Go fucking experiment rather than have people spoonfeed you and take the enjoyment of fucking about with different mods away from you.

I've done plenty enough mod fuckery with Morrowind and Oblivion. Just because you fucked with mods doesn't mean it has to be a universal rule.

It's not worth it OP.

You'll spend 10 hours downloading all the mods, 20 to make sure everything works and then play for 3 before getting bored.

If you're Russian there's a huge pack for sex ones. Otherwise I know Skyrim Perfectly Modded, and a few ones that are in some registration only sites

Which is why I'm trying to get a modpack, instead.

Just get Requiem. It's basically the Dark Souls :^) of Skyrim mods.

Thanks for dropping the name of that Perfectly Modded one. I'll be trying it out.

tesgeneral.com/essential

Seconding this. Requiem has good features like removing level-scaling and fast travel outside of carriages and a particular teleporation spell.

There are no mod packs because modders are autists. Go get sky UI and alternative start and then proceed to loverslab you scalie shit.

check em faggot.

also dont listen to these 2 morons, requiem is awful and the mod author has no idea what balance means.

1. Download Enderal
2. ???
3. Profit!

only good thing in this thread is the pic in OP

uninstall.exe

That's a dlc tho

Don't do that.

Requiem is the closest you will get to making Skyrim good. Retards who suggest shit like combat mod + perk overhaul are fucking retarded.

Try Uninstall Warlock.

Idiot.

Makes sense to me.

gets me everytime

If you want good gameplay mods just do Morriwind. Seriously there's nothing worth your time unless you want to play one of the best Ero games to exist in the current year. Porn mods is where it stops though. The only thing you might get out of it outside of Morrowind is realistic graphics so you can have a good wallpaper generator.

The modpack shit is useless though. Installing mods is easy after maybe a half hour of using common sense and reading instructions. In fact modpacks are more likely to fuck you over than anything as they're usually more difficult to install and often over wright content.

Requiem is a "Hardcore Mod" that fucks the balance up majorly. Combat is quick and deadly, the enemies are more intelligent and minor quirks in lore and the like have been fixed along with rebalancing alchemy around a bit.

Requiem impacts a lot of shit for the better imo and I'd recommend you try it before dismissing it that being said it has a number of things that are pretty shit about it.

It's an interesting experience and I enjoyed it for what it was, but ultimately I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a high tolerance for pain/save-scumming or happen to be a masochist.

Since this is a bethesda thread, I have to ask:
Does anyone have that pdf explaining how bethesda's theme-park design style is shit, especially the parts bout the portrayal of pre-war Murica?

I love reading about the experiences anons have had modding Elder Scrolls games

This remains my favourite vidya story ever.

tesgeneral.com/essential I know it's cuckchan shit, but it has a decent selection of mods.

TES is final fantasy of the west.

you're right

Only difference is that one of them is good.

Neither of them are.

I used to mod the shit out of Oblivion. That was great.
Whenever I mod Skyrim though it just breaks the game and I throw it all out.

You don't need to mod skyrim to break it.

post argonian rule34

both lizard dicks and lizard tits please

aw fuck

spoiler it for me please mod-sama

for some reason skyrtim lags like shit and I have no idea why. It worked before, now it lags every time. I didnt even add any mods. Did any of you fix the kind of lag that happened for no reason before? How did you fix it
yeah, I get it.

w-why me?

Because you're a naughty boy and you know it

GOD DAMN IT AGAIN NO SPOILER FUKC

You need a spanking

Haven't tried any of the TES games, where I have to start? Can't start with Skyrim since I have a potato computer at the moment.

Why, though? It's more fun to make your own than actually playing it.

During the whole process of picking mods, you'll be imagining all the amazing things that you're gonna do with those mods, how they are gonna work with each other and the fun adventures you'll have with many different characters.
Then Wrye Bash tells you it can't process 400 mods.
Then you try them and realize you don't have enough memory for all that.
Then you think you actually have enough memory but the game will constantly crash.
Then you'll find several mods overlapping terrain with each other.
Then you'll find a mod changing the behaviour of NPCs in a very stupid way when coupled with another mod you have.
Then you'll notice a mod that would be kinda cool if it affected everyone but it's impossible.

Then you'll realize the myriad of ways the game could be improved, notice you're still playing on the GameBryo engine and sigh because there's nothing you can do.

>>>/vp/

hahahahahaha
hahahahahaha
hahahhhahhha
hhhhhahhhhah
hhhhhhhhhhha
it'll take like three days to get every mod to work

Is that fucking spyro?

No one makes modpacks for TES games, really. There is one, but it's not very descriptive about what it includes besides the fact it has a ridiculous amount of stuff, and I have no idea how well it runs, how high quality the mods it includes are, or if it's full of unnecessary bloat (which is likely).
perfectlymodded.weebly.com/
There's the link if anyone dares try it.

botnet

Start with either morrowind, or daggerfall. I would recommend morrowind. Go check the share threads they should have the Game of the year version with all the expansions. Disable the mournhold thing though unless you want to fight assassins that are much better equipped, and higher level then you

There's also a mod to delay the Mournhold start until you reach a certain level or beat the MQ, too. This is nicer, since Tribunal comes with an improved journal that's handy for the main game, as well. I'd also reccommend starting with Bloodmoon disabled or using the Solstheim rumor fix mod, because otherwise, a lot of the beginning rumors that lead to starter quests are going to be overtaken by the game trying to point you toward the Bloodmoon content.

is there porn of the lusty argonian maid serving todd? She would make him a good waifu

Feels bad

I'd say start with Morrowind as learning how to crawl Daggerfall's dungeons can be daunting as all get out. Once you master it, though, I personally think it becomes the better game.

Why are LL mods so unstable?

Play Skyrim again or play Oblivion? I refuse to play Morrowind with it's shitty RNG based combat.

Skyrim. Oblivion aged like milk

wow fucking amazing

fuck this board

play whatever you want, I'll be playing with your mom

it only happened on my end and then it went back to normal. I'm going crazy

...

I'm seriously nolife working on my own game, I don't want to work on a game to enjoy it, user.

Sometimes after swimming through an ocean of getting shit to work you just want plug&play

Because they have to operate within Skyrim, and Skyrim is unstable.

Oblivion has bunch of modpacks and the expansions are god tier.

Because base Skyrim is already filled with game crashing bugs. Once it crashed on a loading screen and i tought it was still loading

Impressive ain't it

this

Jesus fucking christ OP
Minecraft is practically the only game that regularly has mods organized into packs, and unless you're specifically playing on a server, you're still a fucking casual if you use them

I am legitimately disgusted that people like this post here

you're doing it wrong.

just download perfectly modded skyrim

its like over 400 mods

At some point you have to streamline things. I've experienced modding in Morrowind and Oblivion, and I have no interest in doing so with Skyrim. I just want to find a quick way to scoop up some of that good shit and play it in my free time.

The only modpack I know of is "The Journey", not my cup of tea but it definitely enhances the base game and makes it into something playable.

forums.goha.ru/showthread_0_0_p152425847#post152425847

i wish people would just mod the game to be how they want it to be (like for example that guy with the harry potter slut school thing) and post it in a single download link instead of giving you 300 downloads and 200+ hours of installation.

what mod is that guy in the last pic talking about

There are so few "good" mods that the idea of a mod pack is fucking retarded
You'd just get a gorrilion casual mods that normalfags think are cool with a tiny handful of shit you might actually use
That kind of laziness is the shit that makes people think it's okay to have paid mods

what?

If someone did compile such a mod pack, I guarantee that you'd find at least a few things about it that you absolutely hated. There are so many variables in the game, and so many different mods for each one, that you really do have to mod one thing at a time to suit your tastes.

I think he means that the people who want a mod pack with a one-click installation would jump at the chance to pay for a compilation of "approved" mods that aren't actually very good, but don't require any effort to install, and they'd be satisfied with that. Or they'd think any mod not officially sanctioned by Bethesda ruins the integrity of the game somehow, and would only feel right if they paid to have Bethesda change the game instead of changing it themselves.

But I would never pay for mods out of principle. I'm simply looking for the shortest, most efficient route to get the most out of a thing in one go.

Well, like I said, that probably wouldn't work as well as you think it would. You'd find several things you don't like and want to mod them differently, but you can't, because you're locked into the mod pack that's set up to work only with its specific setup and introducing anything else would fuck it up.

Old mods were supposed to be compatible. If you're talking script extender, that got updated pretty quick when a new patch broke it. I doubt it will take long to add it to the 64 bit version.

Modpacks are for fucking faggots.
Just go to Lover's Lab and get the typical skyrim porn shit.

Tragically, most of it is not made for argonians, and results in some awful clipping.

Also this.
Every time, regardless of what game it is.

I hate that shit. So many of the loverslab mods are focused around shit tier 3DPD or animu garbage rather than god-tier slutty Argonians.

while ya do it your self kinda of shit I'm to lazy to do all that shit for skyrim.

I just want shit that improves the game overall hell add more spells better skills across everything,
make the shit look nice
improved leveling/exploring idk something to change up the enemies of copy paste dungeons, better loot
better crafting
and of course the sex/rape/pregnant/capture shit

A better question would be, what are some mods that make the world look better and feel more alive without being lore breaking?

POSTING SURREAL SKYRIM MODLIST PAY NO ATTENTION UNLESS YOU LIKE WEIRD RPGMAKER GAMES:

Sauce?

You poor man

Sorry. I've been trying to find it.

You just don't get it.

Any good companion mods with voices ripped from some other source? Someone made a voiced marie rose using the dub.

Any decent kemono mods? The default khajiit aren't all that great.

I think a better question would be why you should care about TES lore in the first place. As long as it stays within the fantasy genre, I like to add whatever.

Im autistic like that

anything by Ghost Trainwiz

start with Aethernautics

guy is crazy talented and obsessed with tes lore

ALL GLORY TO TRAINWIZ

...

Someone masturbates to this.

*scalie

Is it really so hard to believe at this point?

Why, user? Get SKSE, SkyUI, and USLEEP for starter.

Go play AA2 instead.

Morrowind, I guess. Get used to its horrible dice-based combat. Get Open MW 0.4, and off you go.

I prefer Daggerfall because I like "living in a fantasy land RPG" rather than a "classic heroic RPG".

Why, is there a medieval setting mod for AA2 now?

We will fuck it, we will make it, we will make it to fuck it. And we will fuck it to make it.

This is how humans be, m8.

I doubt it. But really, turning Skyrim into a porn game requires lots of modding. I doubt it's worth it.

It's not worth it.

See, that's the thing. There is no other alternative for post apocalyptic or fantasy medieval settings.

lel

But which of the two has the best scalies?

This.

I reuploaded that fag's Civil War mod but didn't get all that much attention before I got banned.

Holy shit, why hasn't this been deleted? Fucking double standards.

Which one is that so I know not to give him any downloads?

...

If you're not an idiot you can get the framework set for Skyrim porn in less than an hour. If you want an extremely specific set of mods then excluding the time you're using looking for them then it would take anywhere from 20 minutes to 6 hours to get them all running in unison. Skyrim is only as hard to get working as you want it to be. And even then once you reach certain point of experience you can pretty much install anything with ease.

I really don't know why no one has tried to copy Bethesda's formula. And while I'm on the subject of things I'd like to see, I also wish there was a Bethesda-style sci-fi RPG that wasn't post-apocalyptic, with an aesthetic more like Mass Effect than the godawful 1950s shit in Fallout.

Fuck, why is the modding scene for Oblivion so dead and broken?

Good taste.

What's up with all the newfags and skyrim recently ?

That could be because you're following links from before the Nexus changed its naming scheme for URLs. Try going to any mod on Oblivion Nexus and then replacing the number in the URL with the one in the link for the mod that 404'd.

Halfchan is dying

The remakes releasing later this month.

That's some gay ass shit nigga

...

Exile/Avernum series is actually good games, have Morrowind tier alien world(with literal ayy lmaos), and has Humans, Lizards and Cats the same as Elder Scrolls.

If Spiderweb managed to do it, and got away with it, there's nothing stopping others from making a not-shit game with all those traits.

...

user this is not how you do, looooong time ago i made a 800Mo mod pack for a friend that wanted to do girls like pic related, if it wasent cause im sick and tired of skyrim i would have spoonfeed you but im just bored of skyrim/modding and all that stuff. I only can give you some tips.

"Finish" the game atleast whithout mods, mods can break up quests and such even the mods that adds armor/clothing can break up important stuff since its not the vanilla model, get mods that you like as soon as you see them you never know when a mod author will go nuts and delete everything cause reasons. Take your time when installing mods, dont install 150+ mods its not worth it and people that do that they dont even real play they just do it to do fancy screens and show their big black master pc cocks.

Install mods manually dont ever use a third party program to install mods, do it by hand and by yourself that way you will know wich mods works and wich does not and you will be able to delete that specific mod.

Forget about the whole ENB thing its just for screens and skyrim is just unplayable whit a ENB its just not made for it.

Start by installing little mods, textures here, some armor models there and then get bigger once you feel comfy whit it, dont get into the whole loverlabs advanced animations and shit at first.

If you can avoid the nexus to find mods do it, we all know its full of mods and you can find "mostly" everything on it but the community its just toxic and cant take a single joke.

I dont know what else to say to you, its your game do as you like and if the game crashes cause you installed some mods, then delete that mod and try to understand why it does not work.

Also dont forget that by default Skyrim is a very unstable game even whithout a single mod that game can crash like that whithout a single reason so dont get surprise if it happens it just part of the game.

Cheers you will spend hours installing mods if you do this so i hope you dont work op

God no never do this. Even if you were to create enough back ups as to not lose track of all the locations of any given mods files you would still have to deal with the mods that are specifically designed to be ran through certain organizers to trigger the install wizard or work in general. Even then you would never be able to remove a mod without saving the mod and looking up the directories so you could manually remove that shit. Manual installation is for shit like an addon to a mod or something. You should never rely on doing it unless you're installing less than a dozen or so mods.

Great advice user

Nexus simply changed their links. But Oblivion's modding is dead simply because Oblivion is far more unstable than Skyrim and can be a huge pain in the ass to get it working.

Oblivion modding is dead because Oblivion is a shit game that's over a decade old. Having over 300 mods installed and made a few of them made by myself I can say that while it might be harder than Skyrim to get shit working, it's not by much. The main reason people switched over to Skyrim is the same reason they switched from New Vegas to Fallout 4. Except the leap in graphics is much more noticeable.

I have to agree with the others and say this is a very bad idea. Mod managers install and uninstall things properly 99.99% of the time. Mod Organizer doesn't even put anything directly in the Data folder, so it's impossible to fuck up your Skyrim installation. Its profile feature is also very, very useful. Use Mod Organizer.

I disagree with this as well. First of all, you can't mod Skyrim heavily without going to the Nexus. The only alternative is Steam Workshop. Most of the good mods aren't there, the mods auto-update (which can be very bad), and the only way to manage Workshop mods is with Skyrim's launcher. If you want to do anything more than add a new sword or two, you have to go to the Nexus. And who cares how bad the community is? You don't have to talk to them. Just get your mods and go.

This is why I hate modding Skyrim.

This is one of the reasons people recommend against using mod packs.

Could be that the folder name is too long, try renaming/reinstalling it only as Skyrim like it does on Steam.

...

"See my spear? You can polish it."

so it's cheese now?

Don't.

How can I make my Khajiit look more humanoid and qt? Right now I'm stuck with this.

Dropped

What are you, a faggot?

do it yourself, fag

Goyrim is probably the easiest Shillthesda game to mod anyways since you aren't dealing with a retarded file system like Morrowind or the nightmare of trying to merge Oblivion's various overhaul mods (which are required for the game to be fun because fucking level scaling a shit). You can even use Mod Organizer which is byfar the best mod manager and it doesn't work super well with Ob/MO because of .omods and it not understanding Morrowind's file structure.

You can run OBMM through MO, then take the stuff it puts into the Overwrite folder and make it into an MO mod.

What mods improve the lightning to not be PS2 tier? Also any mods to add more grass and foliage?

look for an Ohmes or Ohmes-Raht khajiit mod. They're the ones closest to human (-Raht has a tail)

Why do you need a mod pack? Skyrim is easy as fuck to mod.

What we really need is a good, modern Oblivion mod pack. It's not that I don't know how to mod Oblivion, it's just that the game crashes like crazy no matter how much autistic deliberation I put into how I install mods. I know of Danwood's Superpack but it's old and outdated. Anyone know a better one?

I apparently need to regedit the specific .dll for the game. Anyways Someone made a good post about how to get it up and running. I'm really simple so I can use the framework, the unofficial patch, uncapper, a mod to remove killcam and UI plus maybe one or two small mods then FNIS for animations and sex ones. I also really like impregnation and there's mods for just that beastiality as well femalex whatever I mean

Which is a huge pain in the ass but yes you can do that. I did that once but the last time I modded Oblivion I found it was best to just stick to Wrye Bash for most installs + OBMM for the fags that only release .omod packages.

Lighting is fixed by ENB or reshade presets but be warned, there is a lot of garbage to sort through until you find a decent one.

I'd consider uploading my Oblivion installation onto MEGA (it should work standalone) if someone was interested. It runs well, rarely crashes, and has a truly absurd amount of mods that seem to work fine together. Some of the mods I've got could be pretty divisive though so you'd need to be okay with the leveling system getting replaced with XP, minimal lewd (I just wanted to wear a cute dress but no nudity or sex), super colorful aesthetics, overpowered magic, and Cyrodill turned into a jungle like it should be. I also set cast time to 0 and play with 200 acrobatics and speed to pretend it's an arena shooter (surprisingly this actually works).

pics related are screenies I took from it

I'm interested.
Your setup is very similar to what I tried to make my Oblivion. I'm only a bit suspicious of the XP mod but I suppose it's okay if it works for you. It's not like the vanilla leveling system was good anyway.

Do you have any quest mods installed?

It's inconvenient, yes, but I think it's worth it to be able to use profiles.

It's amazing how nice Oblivion can look when there isn't a living creature in the shot. I'd be interested in a mod pack as well, but I gotta know. Is Dungeon of Ivellon in there? That was probably my favorite fucking mod I ever installed.

How many cute clothes do you have installed, as well?

I knew what I expected and I'm still disgusted.

You'd be surprised how acceptably decent a lot of the faces are with OCO v2 (Oblivion Character Overhaul). I only have two cute clothes mods since I don't care for armor, stock clothing replacers, or constantly switching my outfit.

pics related

Also I'll go get this "Dungeon of Ivellon" mod right now, it looks cool.

The only quest mod I have is The Lost Spires, though I haven't started the quest so I can't say how it is. The XP mod works surprisingly well, though I modified mine a lot so that you are only awarded XP for quests, there is no health regeneration (it added this for some reason), and it takes 3 quests to level up no matter what level you are. By default you aren't allowed to just dump all your points on level up into one attribute or skill, which I agree with because otherwise you could become a master conjurer by level 3 and the game would break. I find it to be far more balanced and interesting than the normal system since you aren't encouraged to grind or do strange min/max autism for attribute bonuses.

OCO is really good. I just wish it didn't make so many changes to hairstyles.

Great mod, but with two problems:

Overall great mod though

i hope some user makes ultimate lewd mod pack compilation for skyrim
one can hope

You know what I think would be fun to have in Skyrim? Familiars. Not just spells that summon a creature to fight for you, but some kind of magical creature that's also an actual companion, with dialogue and stuff. Kind of like how D&D does it.

I play with the voices off anyways because the repeating voice actors annoy the shit out of me and I hate full voice acting even when it's good for reasons I just outlined here in another thread

I don't mind much because the vanilla hairstyles are absolute 100% garbage-tier dumpster trash and the ones added by OCO are passable I guess.

I dunno if it has dialogue but I believe SkyRe adds such a feature as a restoration spell with its own branch in the restoration perk tree. There's also at least a couple standalone druid mods but I haven't used them and I doubt any that add perks are compatible with SkyRe/PerMa which is all but required to make Skyrim a remotely tolerable game.

Are you still gonna upload your game/mod pack?

Just for you user, you know you want this barbed cock.

Only if someone wants it, I take it you do?

thanks user.

Did you play Morrowind? I'm pretty sure it's impossible to "break the lore" because of the power of CHIM and Amaranth. CHIM explains any mod you could ever use, and Amaranth even explains shit like Endereal.

you just have a shit computer

You also know exactly what's wrong when you use a mod manager, especially Mod Organizer. Just do them one at a time and even if you don't, with MO everything is in virtual directories so you can just tick the boxes to include those directories and drag their priority around to debug very quickly.

Also obviously Skyrim isn't made for ENB, ENB is made for Skyrim. If you run ENB with some crazy SSAO or DoF shaders then yeah it's gonna hit your frames but you can just use a more lightweight one. My custom config for Shillrim and Goyout 4 has almost no performance impact and looks pretty nice.

Except you don't have CHIM, and Amaranth still requires there being a godhead with a pantheon split from it.

As a player am I not aware that it is a video game? I can open up the construction kit and change anything I want about the world, even its history. The world is as I interpret it because I understand that it exists within the minds of the people that inhabit it.

And there was certainly a pantheon of TES players working on Enderal and I'm sure one of them was the "godhead" in this situation.

Also, even if you don't believe in stuff like the construction kit then why do I as a player start out Morrowind and know exactly what rewards I'll get at the end of every quest? How come when I die I can reload any save I made and reset the world itself? I think there is no question that the player character of each TES game has certainly achieved CHIM whether they know it or not.

EVERY
FUCKING
THREAD

CHIM is not actually an explanation for meta-game concepts. That was one essay that was just an interpretation of what CHIM could be seen as. You, the player, are not involved in the TES universe aside from guiding the player character, and the player character does not have CHIM. You are not the player character.

I wonder if you realise that cat penis is lined with thin barbs that grip to the walls of the females vagina when it is inserted, ensuring it remains in place until the male ejaculates.

It's apparently rather painful for the female as a result.

The fact that a person can legitimately make this argument is why TES lore is fucking stupid.

And hey, since the entire Elder Scrolls universe is just a dream anyway, who's to say whatever random shit you want can't just pop in with no need for any explanation? Macho Dragons and Tommy Wiseau horses are canon!

They can't. Again, one fan essay that merely proposed it as an interpretation, not actual lore fact.

I missed this one. But i'll again say, barbed cock is not pleasant for females. So just imagine how it'd feel up your faggot ass.

It's less that mods are canon and more that nothing is canon. Some things are more canon than others based on how many people agree with it. That's why there are conflicting accounts of many historical events that are all "correct" because someone with CHIM has decided so. If you're the only fucker with the macho dragons mod installed then good for you, macho dragons exist in your interpretation of the world, but that isn't necessarily true for anyone else unless they agree (and they don't have the capacity to do so unless they have achieved CHIM).

What makes you any more correct than I am? I don't see why CHIM isn't an explanation of all this and C0DA actually supports this claim (and if you don't think bringing up C0DA counts then you're a retarded canonfag that needs to learn that American copyright law should not influence your interpretation of art).

so why wasn't Link black in links awakening? everything can happen in dream so why limit ourselves to TES

C0DA doesn't count because it makes all discussion pointless by making everyone's personal interpretation equally valid, and it's created by a crazy egotist who makes nice art and occasionally has bouts of genius, C0DA not being one of them. Kirkbride probably wrote it so he could say his lore was as valid as the official canon and satisfy his ego. You're using "it's art" to avoid the use of logical debate, because you think your favored interpretation is "cool". All you have to support the "CHIM is meta-game" notion is pure conjecture.

For any discussion of lore and story to have any merit, there needs to be a central canon to be the focus. Otherwise, you're in a land of shitty fanfiction where anyone can argue for any retarded idea and be right.

Also, get the GOG version. You're able to have multiple installations with that version, which allows you to have separate installations for Total Conversion mods, or actually modding the game

The Elder Scrolls universe is a dream, you dingus. Not OUR universe.

Anyone got that greentext where that guy makes an uber-powerful npc in Obilvion, which goes rogue and then he spends ages hunting it down Or maybe it hunts him down?
Think the npc might have been called Mungo or some shit like that.

i wish we could get a game where we play as a the more reptilian looking argonians

Don't waste your time on Skyrim! It's completely broken, and not in Morrowind's glorious way either. It's a game that lacks it's core, thus is only a shell of a game.

Yes, I'd really appreciate it.

I don't think it has to be that way. You discuss stories related to the setting not because they're "the correct story" but because they're interesting and widely accepted. The stories in the games themselves are often going to be byfar the most interesting and certainly the most widely accepted which gives them a far higher priority for discussion and analysis than some retards fanfic.

How do you judge whether an interpretation is true or not? You either allow all people to have their own interpretation, or you go with the intent of the author. Morrowind is one of the few cases of art where the intention of the author was for everyone to have their own interpretation, C0DA might not be in the games itself but it proves that this is what Kirkbride wanted people to see CHIM as. If there is one game whose lore merits this kind of discussion it is Morrowind. I'm not saying we should take a relativistic view with all art, I'm saying if a piece of art was intended to convey something then the only "canon" interpretation of what it conveys is known by the author, and obviously the author has spoken.

Ok I'll post in this thread when it finishes uploading, and if the thread gets bumplocked or pruned I'll just post it once in every TES thread until someone (you) says something like "thanks I'm the user that requested it in that other thread" (there is no need to tripcode)

Do it user. Do it.

This looks like it will take quite awhile so if this thread dies before then look out for me in whatever the next thread will be. I've got a 6mb/s upload speed but I don't think MEGA is using all 6 of those anyways and believe me there are a lot of megabytes to go.

I only know of some russian compilation called "The Journey", I can't attest to its quality or availability. Generally, most modders are way too uptight, so you won't find modpacks in any mainstream modding site. I don't see the problem if credits are given and money isn't made.

I suggest trying Requiem for a more organized, well-thought version of the game with more character, then start modding from there. Alternatively, if you want a more freeform game (as Requiem makes a lot of changes) add Ordinator and start from there. Before any of that, however, get the recommended performance, stability and utility tools/mods: Crash Fixes, SKSE, ENBoost, The unofficial patches, and probably more than I'm forgetting,

What do you think of SkyRe and PerMa in relation to those two perk overhauls? I haven't used those two but I've used quite a bit of SkyRe and PerMa and like them quite a bit. I'm mainly interested in the ability to create distinct builds and perks that add new mechanics to the game like druid stuff.

Elder Scrolls Adventures: Argonian could be cool. I don't think normalfags would even notice if Todd just dropped the "you can climb that mountain" pretense at this point and just released KotOR-like games set in Fallout and Tamriel.

I have never tried them, they didn't seem to have much support from the author or the community in the form of patches. Did you run into trouble trying to make them run well with other mods?

If you're looking for unique and distinct builds, try ordinator, it adds a lot of variety and new things to the skill trees, including actually new skills. Requiem is way more limited in scope, but it can be expanded with mods designed for it, it's one of the good things about Requiem, it has a very active player base, there's a lot of well-made patches and mods that expand upon it.

The only things I've found to be incompatible with Skyre and PerMa are perk mods for obvious reasons, but they actually have an equipment rebalancing tool that just does a bit of math to change values on any weapons or armors added by other mods to balance them. This works surprisingly well, and SkyRe also integrates some mods like Immersive Armors/Weapons by default.

Start with any of the good ones, Arena, Daggerfall or Morrowind. Morrowind is probably the easiest one to get into for new players but they're all worth playing. Arena let's you travel the entire continent and has a lot of neat stuff going on. Daggerfall is basically the same but more focused with a smaller but higher quality scope. Morrowind is even smaller in what it attempts to do but is also the best in the series due to the atmosphere and writing.

Some players consider Arena to be a fantasy No Man's Sky due to everything besides the main quest is procedurally generated but it's also the game that gives you the most freedom.

Geneforge >Exile/Avernum

I'm disgusted by this attitude. When you upload a file to the internet without a paywall, you're not entitled to anything at all.

Could've had a myriad of automatic mod installers by now but no - gotta hold back to spare the autist feefees.

Why did only the first pic of a chubby lizard dude do anything for me? Lizardgirls doesn't seem attractive to me at all but that guy… I want to worship every inch of his body. Why?

Other countries have their own Mod hubs, but they can get pretty butthurt about it if you don't follow the proper decorum.

Avoiding modpacks because "waahh its muh creation I forbid other people to upload it!!!" is minecraft modding-tier autism that thankfully only a few creators have. The biggest problem is both compatibility and stability. Say a pack adds mods X, Y and Z version 1.0 that need some gimmick to make them run together, then mod Z uploads to 1.1 but the update breaks compatibility, people will flood the creator about it even though he can do little about it. Or if besides those mods some fag wants to add mod W to it too, but that breaks the entire thing, he'll run and start spamming the creators about it, creating a lot of unnecessary drama. Then you have problems like patches breaking mods, creators dropping off the map and deleting their stuff, etc. Specially now that your average 13 year old will try to install some 4K texture replacer and fuck his console then blame the modders the community is just too prone to bullshit. The monopoly communities like Nexus have on the scene where you can have a futa on the first page but can't show a swastika without people flipping their shit is another problem.

Because you're a lizardfag gayboy

Look up "darkgem" on e621

They could, you know, act like a normal, sensible person and ignore/educate those people. It only becomes drama if they're actively looking for it.

Regarding stability, you could have "stable modpacks", tested mod configurations that are proven to work without conflict. If anyone updated/added mods to it, then obviously it'd be up to them to troubleshoot any issues, I don't see the problem.

Alright hopefully you can help me out anons.

I've been looking for a male body replacer that works with shlongs of skyrim, most probably do that isn't a giant pile of beef and muscle.

Literally cannot find one and its grating on my will to go on, help me obi user kenobi. You're my only hope.

A modpack wouldn't update a mod unless it's been tested to work.

Because you're a huge fag, picture unrelated.

Nah, you can spend dozens of hours throwing together your own instead, running into compatibility issues along the way only to finally get it working, play for an hour at most and realize the shitty combat can't be modded out. The game's only true purpose is being a decent taboo sex simulator.

I dunno about a .pdf but are you referring to this?

What are some good gameplay mods for Morrowind? I have my game pretty well modded but it's all content or graphics/sound. Is there anything that improves the RPG mechanics, combat, or magic system?

you're not an elf, you're not a woman, you're not going to be a cocksleeve. And lizard girls are great you're just a faggot that's why cocksucking may be fun but common sense tells me I shouldn't do it.

As an example of how this can fuck up your game, take Vigor, a combat overhaul. In order to properly update Vigor, you need to open up its MCM menu, hit the button that completely disables it and removes all its scripts and effects from your character, then make a manual save. Only then can you uninstall the old version and install the new version without it fucking up and leaving the old stuff behind. If Vigor was on the Steam Workshop, it would break your save single time it was updated.

Care to share that ENB?

The problem with the Jungle mod is that it's pretty lazily done. At least in terms of immersion. You can walk through every plant/tree the mod adds because they have no physics property's and tree's often spawn in the middle of the road or in weird places in cities. also there's not really a large variety f the plants. Overall it's a 3/10 mod. Mostly good for making nice looking screensavers like you posted.

Sorry I uninstalled Skyrim a couple months ago after I finished Dragonborn. I assumed I'd have to redo the ENB for the x64 version since they're changing around all the lighting so I didn't save it.

3/10 compared to what it could be or vanilla? Vanilla also doesn't have any plant physics or much variety and since the jungle plants look much nicer I'd say it's universally better than vanilla.

I'm also not sure you're using the same mod as me since JFE (Betty's 'Namriel) does not do anything but swap existing plants so it cannot spawn trees in the road, it merely replaces existing plants. Also it retains the collision hitbox of the original trees so sure you can walk through tall grass without anything happening but you'll still collide with trees.

3/10 mod. So what it could be. Vanilla is guilty of the same thing partly but the fauna is nowhere near as dense and there certainly is more variety. The amount of herbs you can collect to use for potions alone is a good example.

Often those tree's branches are long enough to be right in the way. Try leaving/entering IC from the bridge. You'll see what I mean if my memory is correct. I still find trees in the weirdest places though. Often they clip through other trees or walls or the ground. I honestly like the idea of the jungle mod, it's just not well implemented enough. That and the mods that go with it like the "immersive sounds" are usually just as lazy. Just horribly compressed sounds of crickets, toucans and a monkey that sounds like it's screaming bloody murder behind you.

Okay we definitely did not use the same mod because all of the ingredient placements are retained with the mod.

There are two big jungle overhauls and I think you used the other one.

Agreed. When we gonna see the fucking Nagas?

The ingredients are in the one I used I was just comparing the amounts of plants in both.

this, but are there any good magic mods :^)?

...

So thread. I've filled up to about 140 mods MUCH faster than I thought I should, I've barely played the game but I loaded up on difficulty and immersion mods/fixes and other junk including skyre.

I'm not sure what I should do with the rest of the space, I want more. I want more content and roleplayability and I don't even have armor replaces yet I was looking for something comparable with HDT that wasn't slutwear but I don't think I'll find it

What should I do ingame? Roleplay wise what do YOU like to do in skyrim?

Any one played this mod?
youtube.com/watch?v=6hrmSD6DZt4
can you install it on a cracked skyrim? I never tried and want to be sure before downloading skyrim

It doesn't say you can't, it does say that it requires some editing if the Skyrim you are using is highly modded.

No I can confirm you can't.
My dad works for microsoft and he knows this 3rd party modification made by people unrelated to bathesda put in numerous traps and programs to stop people who pirated someone elses game from playing their mod.

It will check your MD5 hash for pirated codes and if it finds out you're a thei4 it'll lock your computer, call the police and over heat your ip address.

dont do it. buy the game and support the devs you fucking criminal!!!

yea this user has it covered you need to buy the copy legally from steam to play it

not to mention hes probably strong and handsome. I bet he's a game developer too, probably a lead dev. I bet he can code radiant AI.

of course he can, he can but probably not as good as todd howard the creater of fallout and skyrim.

Thank you. I wonder if it's on a steam sale right now?

its always a bargin with that cool unlockable card system on steam you can turn your cards into gems and make more valuable cards to sell and make money! not to mention the value of all your steam friends knowing what your playing what you achived and stuff. its like psn x2

So, will the Special Edition fuck up the modding community by dividing people between the remaster and the old version?

Probably not. Bethesda has said that mods should be completely cross-version compatible. Bethesda says a lot of things, but they're probably just too lazy to make any engine changes that would really fuck up modding.

The biggest issue preventing you from just dumping all your current mods into the special edition on day 1 is that there's currently no SKSE or other third-party extenders for the special edition, so most of them won't work. Everyone's just gonna have to wait a little bit while SKSE, FNIS, Mod Organizer, etc. get updated, but after that it should be open season.

I'm actually more concerned about the old version being left behind. I'm sure there are more than a few people with computers that can run Skyrim very well but would struggle a bit with the remaster, especially if they wanted to add all their mods.

fuck it, I have nothing better to do then start another 3 day skyrim playthrough

He stop creating mods to become a full time CTR shill, is that so?

afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?/topic/4633-skyrim-se-things-to-know-when-converting-standard-mods-to-sse/

Looks like there's going to be a bunch of small changes needed to convert mods to the SE, but nothing that'll permanently break mod functionality. Notably, absolutely no changes to any of the vanilla scripts were made, so mods that mess with those can be copied over without changes.

I guess let's just be glad he didn't use his position as a mod author to flood his mod with Clinton propaganda that people would download unknowingly.

Either way killed any support his mod had, that's for damn sure.

Holy shit, fuck all of this. It took two entire days to fully mod morrowind to my preference. I am not doing this again, there are plenty of things I could do in a day. I'm gonna play skyrim unmodded and that's it.

Playing Skyrim unmodded is like playing in a garbage dump without protective gear. At the very least, get the unofficial patches and SkyUI.

Well, duh, obviously I was gonna get those simple things. But I meant modding for more than one hour, that would piss me off. Modding in other games at least worked, in ut 2004 I have a lot of mods and gamemodes downloaded and they all work. In skyrim I'd have to test what really works and what not for tens of hour, only to see at the end of the game that something's not compatible and I wasted my time.

I'll just get the mods that fix bugs or do slight improvements, like skyui

Fuck that. I'm not dealing with modding Skyrim again. You spend forever setting shit up and it can still all go wrong somewhere down the line. And the faction quests are still shit either way. Fuck you, Bethesda, I'm glad I pirated it.

That penis for the Kahjiit isn't even lore friendly. Install a canon dick mod fag.

Then enlighten me and show me what a lore-friendly khajiit dick looks like faggot. (I'll give you a hint, there is no official canon info on khajiit dicks.)

Do you actually think that looks good? It doesn't look realistic nor does it look artistically good.

Perfectly Modded requires at-least a 980ti with a rig to match it. Not too many people can benefit from it right now. It's one of the few good-looking ENB configurations though.

Look it up in the lore faggot. I'm not spoonfeeding you what canon sex in TES looks like.

"Barenziah scowled at him. She was still smarting. His penis had tiny little barbs on it."

How is it not lore friendly then faggot?
-Taken from the uncensored Real barenziah 3

Looks like someone hasn't read the uncensored version of The Real Barenziah

I admit when I'm wrong, never knew that existed

The ones in your pic are huge :^)

You're not wrong, I just don't feel like editing the texture apart from blending it with the skin.

Now you've made me want to make a better version that unsheaths properly as well. :/

There are so many people in this thread who need to be gassed I don't think there's enough Zyklon B to go around

Skyrim lewd modding is top tier shit. Anything else is a waste of time.

Eh, it has the same problem none-lewd modding does in that it's prone breaking if one single little thing is wrong.

If you're retarded or lazy maybe. Just follow instructions and git gud.

0 effort = 0 reward.

i pirated it just recently too because it's been years since i played it. My memories of it were rather bland and repetitive, and sure enough, it's just like i thought it would be. I thought maybe things would be a bit more interesting if I stuck to roleplaying a true nord faithful to skyrim and the stormcloaks why was bulgruuf a faggot, he should have just joined the stormcloak side but nah, it's just the same old shit everywhere you go.

The most threatening thing to me by far are forsworn and falmer. I have no idea what the fuck it is, but I have almost 400 health, a heavy armor skill in the 80s, armor rating of high 300s (I think I might be low 400s now i don't even know) and yet those fucking faggots STILL take entire chunks of my health away. 4 or 5 swings from them and I die, as if my protection means jack shit, and that's INCLUDING an Ironskin spell with alteration in the high 60s. What the fuck was Beth thinking when they "balanced" this shit?

But the main point of the post is I agree with you, the game is riddled with horrendous bugs, it makes me want to smash my monitor and I'm damn glad I didn't spend a dime on any Bethesda products ever. Fuck you todd, you're a faggot and your devs are goddamn hacks. I cannot tell you how many times I had to look up a fix for something that didn't work right. I mean right off the bat, I had to look up a fix for water, animals, and objects blinking and glitching out hardcore, because shit is locked to framerate, so I'm forced to make the game run on a multiple of 60fps with vsync on, otherwise the gameworld doesn't operate correctly whatsoever.

What mod did that retard make?

I think it was a shitty overhaul. Either way not worth it since it's not porn. The Nexus community is shit anyway. The only people he's actually convincing are already drinking kool-aid or are smart enough to just ignore him and download his mod somewhere else.

Civil Wars

Bump so the thread will last the night.

Already finished Morrowind. Was a little awfull at the start, but what game with RNG isn't.
Any recommended mods? Needing something to fix the constant crashing too.

There needs to be more of this.

use OpenMW

I'd like to know if there is a character creator for followers, I'm aware the console allows you to edit the player but I can't specifically remember if I can edit other entities and actually keep their appearance whenever they spawn/I load in.

Also, where's the lewd stuff? At least for argonians.

What you're asking for is a wish that a lot of people share, but there's nothing to be done about it. NPCs (even modded ones) are cut off from the character generator - you can edit them via some console commands, but you're limited to a handful of effects. There's no way to adjust certain features outside of the Creation Kit itself, so the only option is to mod every NPC to they way you want yourself.

Theres a mod that lets you save your current character onto a pedestal in a room and then you can summon them as followers with another character. So essentially that way you could have custom followers. I think it was called familar faces or something.

I think you can do that with Alternate Actors. You can take control of them and edit them with the race menu just like your PC. The mod can save the appearance of up to 10 actors.

There's a mod on loverslab called Manipulator that, while mostly about basically cheating yourself a harem of whatever npcs you want, has the functionality to use the character creator on followers. I believe it does have some limitations, but I can't remember off the top of my head what they are.

>Spend a whole night compiling my old modlist for making the game into a horror survival game ghostbin.com/paste/uvuhz

You are in the wrong place my friend.

To be honest, the only way to make skyrim fun is to basically throw out any idea of wanting an rpg and just make a survival, porn, or a survival porn game.

I turned mine into a combo heavy action game with attack cancelling and rolls… also porn.

That's what my modlist does. It turns the game into a "Weird RPGMaker game". I described it to the guy in the thread and even went as far as to completely rip a games soundtrack for him complete with multiple extended versions, remixes, and cut songs.
Check out the ghostbin I linked but, please, if you download them post your story. I am still pissed at that user.

I'm not him but if it's any consolation, I remember you from the past thread and I appreciate you compiling all your mods together like that. Your setup looked really cool and I'd like to give it a try.

I have never played skyrim, I stopped at oblivion. But the trips demand it, maybe I will give it a shot after all these years. I already posted a real short story of my quest to find my skelly a home. This is right up my alley.

This is the best way to play it, IMO. The music, atmosphere, and story completely changes because not only are you now weak as fuck but anyone can die. You will frequently find towns wiped the fuck out by skeletons.
Todd tried to make a game wherein "it's your story!" but failed due to handholding. This becomes comfy creepy twitchy game wherein you hide in a tent and pray bears don't eat your ass.

You are a good person, user. It's pretty easy to set up and nothing conflicts. To be honest this is probably the last time I'll spam it because it's getting autistic but I just genuinely want others to try this shit.

Forgot image.

I'de do it but I'de probably add more sex mods and then exchange the soundtrack for the game with unusual and unsettling but good music like Pepper Steak or something. I'de also randomly select and blindly replace a sound file with Loud Nigra somewhere in the enemy creatures sound directory.

It's a shame my PC is a toaster otherwise I'de actually consider it.

Did you see the list? Full download to the OFF OST right in there, my friend. And not the cucked version you can usually get but a direct rip.
Also if you want optimization tips I am the guy to ask. How shitty is your PC? I managed to get those screenshots on a six year old laptop with no DX 10 support.

I'm familair with the methods. I've been modding Oblivion for years. I've ran the game on the settings knowing full well about how well it would run and managed to stay at a stable 10FPS for around a minute before I had to forfeit. Doesn't even run with the worst settings unless I spend time in the ini.

I recently removed a bunch of shit though so I might give it another try one of these days.

I know massive amounts of optimization mods that compress textures, remove effects, dull down effects, etcetera. I assume you've already tried those though.

The main ones I guess. Either way it compromises my fun when I have to force myself to go low texture to enjoy it. I was mostly humoring myself to see if I could get it to run. I'de like to play the game with a stable build on modern graphics because I'm a faggot.

Thanks for making this list, I need to try something new.

Oy just enjoy it, that's all that matters. I'm just glad no one has called me out on the 'tismic act of placing this in every second mod thread.

Holy shit i'm trying this tonight. Going to add the dark fantasy overhaul and supreme volumetric fog for even more immersion though.

nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66971/?

nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66971/?

If I remeber right I said I`l try and make a repack out of i, some one else can play it . I haven't been able to find the time to fully set it up. Once I am able to do so properly I`l add and post a adventure.

Both can work, both can work. But there are some mods in there that I believe may interfere with Dark fantasy.

Holy fuck it's you. Thanks again, man.

Download this, posess an NPC and open showracemenu simple as that.

IDR if I tweaked it but it saves my body sliders from my mods so I can increase/decrease breasts/buts/basically change entire bodies but its been updated so the more intimate face stuff can probably be tweaked to a T.
I remember you could change it though.

Here ya go.

I personally tried your twitchy autism fest and I like it but some of that shit seemed too atmospheric for me. I've done a lot of editing mostly made it so (almost) all NPC's respawn every month.

Ghost towns are nice rare finds but it can't be too often or it loses its touch.

I've also put bandits around (with guns and a little ammo) and I'm working on making roaming hoards that sometimes attack towns and mill about inside them a while, more stuff spawning around places.

More than a few other mods working weirdly together and I have no weird ass moon.

Also that mod that lets you hitch a gypsie caravan and set up camp anywhere you want with full storage and everything is really nice, better when you can store what loot you manage to pack up and it makes you feel safe when the woods are full of more than bears, monsters and mutants errywhere.

Combined with a lot of stealth tweaks=unf.

I've also got a lot of weird kinky shit from lovers lab along with heavy fog and other atmosphere tweaks

Hey man to each their own, I only exist to get the ball rolling on how to actually make Skyrim fun.

Do you think you'd be willing to post up the mod to add these roaming bands/bandits with rifles somewhere? It would add a lot to the experience and I'm certain many would be thankful.

Mind telling me what else you added for consideration? I plan on playing this as soon as I get my PC going.

No problem. I should be able to have a repack of it all setup by the middle of next month or the end of it due to IRL stuff.

May I ask what seems to be the problem with it? Also if it is up and ready by the time I am hopefully able to set the repack, then that should make it way easier to just enjoy. I can't wait to see what would happen on my game save.

I'll update it to be less buggy but its an all-in-one ESP that works well with my creature modifications.

It adds more than one bandit with a gun behind a bush in hopes I'll forget about them but they make a fun ambush either way, the singular ambushers don't have too high ranged skill but they're statically stuck to a spot and don't roam until they have you or someone else in their sights. Also has a couple on ridges above roads and below a bridge.

The roaming bandits have basic traveling scripts right now since I'm not done making them actually occupy a town but IIRC I was close enough. They roam around in packs of 4-8 and usually open with half/mostly gunners. The trick is to try and make them shoot companions since I made a blunderbusser per pack but he can really fuck you up if he hits you since it has a good knockdown.

They roam most of the roads during the day and stop/turf war with actual bandits sometime. They have a custom evil faction and tend to hang on the outskirts of towns picking people off. I'm working on making them loot from people they kill but right now they hoard gold atleast if they find it.
Some also spawn with skooma, health potions and rare useful junk. A few might be powerful mages, I'll change it up to give them spells that don't come from the 3 spell-modpacks I have if you want.

It also adds various monsters that are pretty balls to the walls. I have mods to make smaller animals like wolves and tigers less aggressive if they're not in a pack so it adds a few packs and shit like frost elementals in colder places, rogue zombies/fire elementals.
A bunch of creatures from a mod that adds more monsters.

And a couple traveling merchants with similar bandit AI but they're generic and respawn quicker. Yes you can kill him and take his everything but he/she has guards and many of them know magic.

It all sounds like a lot but it's not too crowded. You run into some shit every day on the road but its like 1/2 of my custom encounters per day and everything is really simple.

If you're okay with all that though I guess I can put it in, I spent a while making the people look good/creepy so you need the appachi hair pack.

When I was still on Windows I dumped ~100h into installing and configuring a mod loadout + enb over the course of months but never really played the game. I'm now playing with 30 mods from workshop and I'm having a blast playing as Anders Behring Breivik keeping the Nord clean. Vanilla Skyrim wasn't really that bad maybe.

I use Sounds of Skyrim, the Places and Quests series, Moonpath, Ordinator, Alternative Start and some small cosmetic mods like better glacier and snow textures.

Some of the best faps I had where in skyrim. Dunno how sad that is.

Oh nothing I just haven't picked up the parts yet. Life sucks sometimes in Syrupland. Being able to load the repack as soon as I get it would be fucking amazing though, man.

Holy shit. This sounds not only amazing but also solves issues with running out of ammo in the Blunderbuss mod. Jesus Christ man this is like fucking Christmas, I'd really appreciate it if you'd release the gunner mod.
