It's hard to give you solid advice without looking at your recent art.

The general advice I could give you is to start with gesture to get a quick glimpse of the whole body and pose and build from there, think in simple shapes and volumes (The wrapping line is a good practice to get the volume of a shape).

I am assuming you know a bit about anatomy, if not, study the shapes of main muscles of the body so you don't get stuck in things that are constant like the way muscles connect with the bones or proportions. I'll be happy to answer any other question you have, the more specific the better.

He's Fairy/Dark, a thief and a trickster. Feels like he would have fit very well into the Kalos region, if it has more Pokémon. The stomach would change faces depending on his mood.

Something important to note is that when you fuck-up a drawing, don't just move to the next one. Keep at that same one until you've realised what mistakes you've made and where you're going wrong. You'll learn a lot slower if you just accept mistakes instead of correcting them.
If the mistake is too big, then redo the drawing.

There's a couple of things you need to work on, the biggest is the hands. Another thing is the way you connect the head to the torso, take a look at the muscles of the neck and how they connect to get a glimpse of how to work it into the stylization you're doing with the head. Also, check the way the torso twists and bends, the bean practice can help you to look at it in a simplified manner, a couple of Proko's videos cover that.
