Yes, it skips after the final battle against Yaldabaoth on 12/24 to Valentine's Day where you can get punished/rewarded for how many girls you romanced and finally to 3/19, the day where you say goodbye to everyone and the following day is the end of the game.

UPPITY, HIGH STANDARDS
Both Cakes (Maid-teacher and Goth Nurse) require Lv 2 Courage, curiously, but MaidCake only needs you at that while GothCake also wants Lv 4 Charm

Anne and MaidCake only require one stat from you, and each one only wants a Lv 2. I think Anne and MaidCake are the best choices for a first playthrough, but there's also the Hikki.
Anne - Lv 2 Kindness/Gentleness
Sadayo - Lv 2 Courage
Futaba - Lv 4 Gentleness

Futaba is pretty grindy but it's only one stat so it's not so bad. The girls who really stick you are the ones who want you to have a simple state AND to grind out like you have nothing better to do with your life:
GothCake - Lv 2 Courage + Lv 4 Charm
Makoto - Lv 3 Intellect + Lv 5 Charm
Hifumi (the Fatal Frame lookin' Shogi player) - Lv 3 Charm + Lv 5 Intellect'

It's a stupid gimmick for the second-to-last dungeon. Certain rooms have a statue that transforms you into mice in its vicinity which keeps you from opening doors but lets you travel through small vents. Some pretty adorable shit happens if you get into a fight like that.

There's so much stuff coming in the late January-February of [CURRENT YEAR +1: CURRENT HARDER] time frame (Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza 0, Ni-oh and maybe the NieR Automata western release), I probably wouldn't mind sitting it out and wait for the expansion.

It doesn't escape the P5 cast that what they do is…extremely unethical, even if the people they do it to are horrible.

Wasted opportunity tbh. I like the Pompadour look for Kanji, especially because it's a real pompadour and not a cartoonish anime pomp. Then again, it not being anime enough is probably why they didn't go with it.
P4's early concepts in general seem to have that vibe, it's almost like P4 being rushed out in a year fucked it up and turned it into low-effort pandering garbage. Seeing these concepts again just makes me want to make my own RPG with those designs.
The only early concept designs I didn't like were for Adachi and Dojima(Maybe Teddie, too), they're the only characters who I look better in the final version. It was nice we got to see long haired Nanako in the epilogue though.

Point is, Adachi and Bancho-sama-sensei-kun-san-senpai-leader have a great duality dynamic that is probably the best and pinnacle of the protagonist-v-antagonist theme for the whole Persona series.

Bancho and Adachi both have neglectful parents
Bancho and Adachi both share traits (magic tricks, care about the Dojimas etc.)

And yet Bancho and Adachi are polar opposites in almost every other respect. You can tell that a younger Adacho would have been good friends with Bancho, but because their lives took drastically different turns they ended up parallel and opposing.

The best thing about Golden is Adachi's additions, which only flesh this out further.

We expected another Bancho-Adacho dynamic in Joker and Goro, and if they had written Persona 5 remotely well then it would have been something noteworthy. But no…no we just get garbage.

I think if P5 has a Crimson edition it should rewrite Goro entirely. But hey, what do I know? I'm not the Nips who know zero about Gnosticism and yet still try to inject it into everything SMT related today (Apocalypse and P5 are embarrassing)
