I recommend against lsd as it tends to be some sort of RC (research chemical) now-a-days, don't trust it or any other synthetic drugs. Only one I recommend is orally taking DMT via ayahuasca or mimosa hostilis. I don't recommend smoking it, they use industrial solvents to extract smokable versions, usually notable coloration (yellow/red are impurities, but white is pretty much pure, still, bad idea to put shit in your lungs in general) You get far more out of the ingested experience, several hours instead of minutes. I don't even drink or smoke weed anymore, after you've had an experience like that, it can affect you in a positive way. Because there is a tendancy for some people to try them, decide they like the effects enough to keep doing them, they build tolerance from being familiar with the effects and so start taking higher doses, taking them more frequently or move up to more powerful substances to get same or similar effects with less and all the while waste not only their time but other people's time, and develop a neglect for other responsibilities due to being preoccupied entertaining themselves.

These are pretty much my thoughts too as someone whose thinking was changed significantly through several psychedelic experiences.
Psychedelic experiences of course vary a lot from person to person, but one constant that I've observed is that these substances tend to dissolve years of social conditioning over a short period of time, or at least "tear back the curtain" of social conditioning temporarily, and I believe that this is fundamentally why authorities that desire good goy behavior and compliance are generally hostile toward psychedelics.
I don't think anyone here will dispute that the overwhelming majority of social conditioning imposed on the men of the West these days is overwhelmingly leftist in nature. Indeed, Uncle Ted explicitly characterized the leftist mindset as one of "over-socialization" and we all know that school and the mass media shamelessly push a leftist agenda. I think psychedelics are something everyone should try at least once, given, that they are in good company and understand the nature of what they will experience. These substances give a perception of the divine which is sorely missed in modernity, and every opportunity I get to take them I feel like I flush all the garbage I've accumulated in my brain and soul. I've only done with some good friends, but I'm looking forward to doing it by myself in the future for a genuine meditative experience.

I don't advocate for taking any substance carelessly, but I'm convinced there's something to be discovered with psychedelics. One time I was on an LSD trip, and looked outside to see the whole sky glowing with different changing colors. I guess the people around me just thought that I was an eccentric rather than off my face on prescription drugs.

By the time I was at university the prophylaxis effect of the methysergide had worn off. I kept taking it along with a huge cocktail of mind altering drugs. This included high doses of morphine. I used to keep a bottle of morphine in my coat pocket and swig from it during the day, like an alcoholic with a hip flask. What eventually made me realise that I had to stop was when my mother died. The shock was so great that it broke the hold the drugs had over my mind. I was left with the horrible realisation that I had spent years wasting time getting pointless qualifications and having to take drugs to do it when what I really should have done was spend time with mother and work through my health problems with self improvement.

When you reach the peak of that experience, sit down and go into meditation. If you little or have no experience with meditation, which seems like likely given your attitude, you may have to give it a few more goes before you end up flipping into the right kind of state. The kind of meditation that is relevant to this pursuit is the most basic - absolute rest, total non-doing, achieving true zero effort, etc.. Good luck bud bud.
