I suppose that you're referring to scatology, in which case you're conflating a sexual orientation with a sexual fetish. Homosexuality is a fundamental orientation, whereas scatology is a appendaged fetish. Homosexuals often become scat fetishists because poopdick is a natural part of anal sex, where poop becomes associated with pleasure.
And homosexuality is not genetically inherited but hormonally inherited.
Male homosexuals are defined as being exclusively attracted to other males, so it is a guarantee.
I encountered an user in another thread who was citing Himmler and insisting that all homosexuals are victims of molestation.
Those homosexuals probably had a great incentive to corroborate his prejudices (which isn't a bad thing, homos need to be kept in the closet or eliminated through eugenics).

This is futile and I doubt the effectiveness of converting homosexuals. At most they can repress their sexual urges and learn to like women, but the homosexuality will always be there.
