My theory about sexuality is that there is NORMAL on one end of the spectrum normal being that men like women and vice versa, with a preference for at least serial monogamy and pair-bonding and that on the other end of the spectrum are all the weirdest and sickest fetishes like eating da poo-poo or inflicting actual pain etc., and that the further one is from normal, the closer all the fetishes are too each other.

In a sense, yes they can. They are called effeminate males, and they serve an evolutionary purpose - to be reassuring and emotionally sensitive when there are no females around, such as in an army.

Effeminate males are distinct from homosexuals, who serve no evolutionary purpose and therefore must have inherited a disorder. It would not occur to any healthy male product of evolution to "choose" to be homosexual.
