Help me decide

Unless you literally skydive into enemy encampment you won't hit a thing. Also, aren't shotguns actually much better for home defense?

This is a thread for /k/, not for Holla Forums, but since it's here and I frequent both boards, here's my 2 shekels.

First, you want a pistol for daily carry. Most of the time you run into trouble outside of the house, so having a home-defense rifle is good but having a handgun is necessary for defense outside the home.
For a CC pistol, everyone has their own preferences. I like something compact but still powerful (personally, I carry a S&W MP Shield .40 w/ the extended clip; pic related). The short barrel and a single-stack mag make it super easy to conceal and carry without much bulk.
For home defense, you honestly don't want anything too powerful in terms of bullet velocity. Primarily, you don't want shots blasting through the wall and killing innocent people. Personally, I like a solid break-neck, over-under 12g shotgun for home defense, with my M&P on me for backup. Pump action is good for practice, but in the heat of the moment, it's likely you'll mis-pump and jam your gun (this is why I like break-neck shotguns, loading is very simple and hard to fuck up under stress).
A rifle is best for defense at a distance, which is the lest common form of self-defense. This is why I think self-defense rifles are sort of a silly topic. Anything that will put lead down-range will work, and without proper training, you'll probably miss most of the time.
In short, get a shotgun for actual home defense (00 buck, 12g), a handgun for personal defense (.40 cal or larger, at least 7 rounds), and a rifle for fun at the range (AR variants are fun to build and customize).

The Zastava M88 is also a nice choice, i have two of them
Very accurate after adjusting sights, have had no issues with any kind of JHP ammo and they're cheap at $200 shipped with $20 mags on ebay

rip
AK is a given since eastern europe, probably could probably go walk out to some woods and mags and shit since lol yugoslav wars.

By those pictures I assume they are RPK based rifles with 1.5 mm receivers and bulged trunnions vs the regular m70's we see over here?

The zastav's have had some poor heat treat on the receivers in the past few years so you might see the pin holes egging out or at high round counts you could see cracking. However that's the rifles and pistols we have available here, if those are RPK based like the pictures suggest then they probably should be better quality wise, and hopefully zastava would take some pride in things they are selling to their own people.

PCC's are memes if you only own one rifle and need it to be able to do serious defensive work. They have a place but certainly not as one's only rifle.

A good Remington Versa for the home and a Springfield XDs .45 for the hip.

Das it mane.

gas yourself

CZ is a company in the Czech Republic, whereas Zastava is based in Serbia just wanted to correct you on that.

Getting back on topic, the pap is pretty good, but you should try holding both of them to see how the stock is against your cheek (my friends have problems handling the npap when I don't). Also consider a semi auto shotgun - those work wonders too

Actually after using jewgle for a bit you're right in this case, my mistake!

read the post faggot

The heat treat could be better on the RPK pattern shit they sell in Europe, but if they aren't doing it right on regular export rifles then they might be just fucking lazy and not doing it right on any of them. An RPK receiver will shitty heat treat will hold up better than a standard 1mm with the same shitty heat treat but it still doesn't change the fact that it has shitty heat treating and has a rockwell hardness like noodles.
