Better option, Light Assaults with ANTs, the AA Turret, and the Turret AI modules.
Get JUST enough Cortium to pull all three, park somewhere close to the enemy Warpgate or other Airbase, and Jetpack to the top of a hill to set everything down.
The lone AI Module should last for about 17 minutes on a fresh Cortium Silo's 1000 stock, meaning a maximum of 17 minutes pissing off airchavs while you go off and do important shit.

You can also do this with just a Turret, since they don't even need a Silo to work, but then you'd have to man it yourself.

Man I haven't been on the net for twenty years, or even in a server smash…

If it's for base building, then yeah.
After all, it's something they did RIGHT for once, so they should see that work pay off.
Get the Bundle though, you save something like $5 in Smekles for the first wave of stuff.
