I dont know if Bayonetta introduced it, but button + direction to dodge, plus a well-timed dodge for a bonus (Slowdown, in Transformer's case) is a basic Bayonetta mechanic.

It did and the fallout was glorious. The creator opted to hire tumblrs to do the animation for the end but they asked for too much and you can tell the animators stopped giving a shit a minute into it. Also, the ending didn't tell you shit outside of "And then the good guys created a new PROGRESSIVE universe~!" ignoring the fact that the main antagonist is a guy who can travel at any point in time and space and is actively killing them in various other timelines. The salt that ending gave sustained me for weeks.

One had a bigger budget one didn't. Not hard to tell, hell the Korra game wasn't even that bad.
Both games weren't worth their asking prices though. Korra should've been $10 or maybe lower and Devastation should've been like $25.
