Been running a dictionary+2digits ruleset, at 64% no dice.

Can you write the command? How did you add the two digits? I wanna do the same but maybe try another dictionary.

m tag is for the bcrypt hash, w3 increases utilization (pc is slower but hashes faster), and the a6 sets it to hybrid attack mode, with a word list + masking. dict.txt would be the word list, and the ?d?d appends two digits to the end. It'll cycle through all possibilities.

Very few reporting the gunshot suggests not many people heard it since they;d be indoors at 4am. A normal, unsuppressed gunshot is much more audible, sure, but common suppressors don't silence the gun. You could still hear the shots from hundreds of feet away in an open space.
