I don't know, OP; I don't think anything on the WoW forums is really cringe anymore, unless they have RP forums. It's just.. bland and boring now. Game forums are normalfag territory these days.

To be honest, I've played Warcraft I to III plus the fucking boardgame and I still don't understand a lot of things, for example:

Why are the demonhunters led by a demon? why do they consume the demon's souls? wouldn't that imply an extremely high risk of corruption?

Why are demons evil but only some of them? why do they even call them demons?

Arthas is an orc but also a human? how?

I can at least answer that third one. The original Lich King was Ner'zhul, an orc. He had his soul ripped from his body and it seemed to inhabit a helmet. Arthas put on that helmet and now Ner'zhul and Arthas inhabited the same body.

But then there was some lore about Arthas 'killing' Ner'zhul's soul, so it was really just Arthas inhabiting the body the whole time or something? Well, that's the basic idea.
