Placing permanent imagery on your body is an interesting concept. It can be an effective conversation starter, and depending on the motivation, something to bind your commitment to what you care about.

Philosophically, what I don't like about it is precisely that. Lol. I've thought about tattoos before too, but can never get over the thought of having somebody else's creative ideas and vision on my body. Makes me feel like a some of my soul would be forever attached to their pen. (I would have no problem designing a tattoo though)

I do like the "His Name Was" idea. You're on a good train of thought with that. What if you were to print your design as a temporary-tattoo instead of attaching it soley to yourself? I wonder how much traction the story would get by passing out Memorial stickers and temp-tats at local events. Go grassroots and put some stickers, a tat, and a one page rundown of what happened to Seth inside a small sandwich bag and pass them out…

Inflation is the secret tax weapon of all governments. They create money , give it to themselves and their buddies and then poof! the government is richer and you are poorer, but 95% of the population has no clue they are being taxed.

Why not create a state where ALL taxation is created by inflation? No taxes, just a government that creates the amount of cash it needs to fund itself each year. It can be marketed as a tax-free society. Inflation would probably be 10%, but hell it is 5% today if you use non-government stats.

At worst this system will expose inflation for what it really is.

The book is insanely good. I read it when I was a zogbot. The main theme of the book was relegated to a minor subplot of the movie.

As an example the scene in the movie where Rico is in school and fucking off and trying to impress Denise Richards was presented as the main story………..wheras in the book, that same 'scene' was mainly focused on the citizenship/civilian dynamic and explaining what Heinleinian citizenship was.

That book is one of my faves. I loved the movie when I was a kid too. We used to wipe-out pesky wasp and nests with a wide variety of combustible methods over reasonable grievances, like being stung when we dindu nuffin. Bug wars make sense.
