Obtainment of items collected in gameplay is not illegal, but a specific mode where in you have to make a monetary transaction for the intent purchase of gambling on a randomized collectable item, virtual or otherwise, is illegal. It doesn't matter if you convert it into coins or tokens beforehand, as long as it is convertable from real currency and real currency is used to obtain it, it's still a matter of gambling.

- Unless they clearly say in the intro of their video "this is sponsored"- report it to the FCC. Even if in the description they say "Thanks to [Studio] for helping" - doesn't count. Even if they say it's sponsored in the description- unless it's in the first line it doesn't count (since it can be tucked behind the read more bit).

Basically cause SUCH a massive influx of COI (I imagine 30% to 60% being prosecutable) that the FTC will have to make examples to stem such a "wide-spread problem". Now usually the FTC don't do shit for small cases unless everyone speaks out, which means it'd need some organization (repost links here so others can also report it)

I see that cs:go is badly balanced and a shitload of things need to be chanced, but you guys can't. When I ask you what's wrong with cs you probably can't tell me what it is apart from the obvious microtransactions.

I had a shitload of discussions here on cs:go already, nobody ever mentioned things like acceleration and movement inaccuracy or the fact that every weapon has only one spray pattern. Even the more obvious op pistols are rarely named.

Valve whitelisted the sites to allow them to use the Steam API and some of the lawyers involved in bringing it to the FTC's attention say that they do have proof that Valve employees were in contact helping them and knew what they were doing facilitating it.

Depending on how it goes Valve could be indicted for knowingly facilitating illegal gambling instead of closing the loophole as soon as it was obvious what it was being used for. And they won't have an easy time since legal gambling websites were already pissed at shit like Draft Kings, they will help go for the throat at Valve.

CS:GO was perfectly balanced until the Revolver update (which nerfed the ARs with extra RNG on the recoil for no fucking reason) and it's obvious that Valve doesn't know what the fuck that they're doing. They wanted to add a fucking tether gun that would hold people in place for the next guy to kill him for god's sake. They reversed that patch after a ton of complaints and I haven't followed since, because I uninstalled the game.

I uninstalled cs:go long before the revolver update so I don't know the current state of the game, but there was a time when the glock killed with 2 shots to the head. You know what other gun kills with 2 shots to the head? The m4. And without helmet the glock would kill with one shot to the head. And then Valve wonders why nobody buys the deagle and buffs it damage to scout level only to nerf it a week later.

You apparently also missed the p250 days, or the time when scout had almost perfectly accuracy. Or the days when aug had perfect accuracy and did almost 100% damage trough walls.
Different spray patterns is what keeps people from spraying since they can't predict where bullets go and instead forces them to make single shots. This is one of the things that makes 1.6 better than cs:go. It's less forgiving and mistakes are punished way harder.

You seem to missing that the M4 is a 2 shot headshot at ANY range. While the glock is only upclose, and again exposing the player to a fully automatic weapon's capabilities. You also actually have to be able to hit them twice in the head, and no one is going to be holding completely still unless they're a fresh player.
