Why hasn't communism been created yet?

Why hasn't communism been created yet?

Who came closest?

Because it can't be created except after scarcity is eliminated.

"communism" is a stupid meme ideology, socialism is more reasonable

weak working class organization
The Bolsheviks probably

you sound like an expert, you must've read the relevant wiki pages.

Communism has not been created because anything that is far on the political spectrum will never be fully achieved. Not even true fascism has been achieved (pic related).

As with who came closest, I would concur with the above poster that the Bolsheviks were probably the closest.

Communism is a spook.

I always wonder how people miss literally the most important step.

Communism is what results when capitalism ceases to function, not an alternative.

...

paris commune. then it got its shit kicked in by reactionaries.

literally the only reason why attempts at communism fail is because of reactionary aggression against it

Explain.

tfw no union of egoists

It's not a system one can create, it has to be nurtured and arise naturally.

Insufficient means, too much repression

The highest wave of the revolutionary workers' struggle was during the years 1917-1921
This means Weimar republic, Hungarian soviet, Soviet Russia, Italian factory councils, etc all represent this movement across borders. The revolutionary subject is the revolutionary working class, it isn't so much a matter of 'who' according to nations or parties.

Capitalism makes efficiency because that reduces cost.

This will eventually lead to producing items for nothing and not paying out enough for people to buy the item.

This right here is exactly why.
Once automation takes over 1/2 the market it's gg for the capitalists. Even with universal healthcare, tuition free college, universal basic income, food stamps, (etc.) Capitalism cannot work.
When over half of the population is unemployed due to automation, we will have no choice but to go full communism.

This can't happen in capitalism, under this conditions the profit rate(main driving force of the system) would be so low that the process of acumulation would cease and could only start again with crises after crises one bigger than the other until the collapse of the environment. Only revolution can overthrow the capitalism, you can't just wait it fall by itself(because it wouldn't),so we can finally socialize the means of production and make the mode of production be acording with the relations of production.
We can't just wait your fuck, that is pure reformism.

This is pure illiteracy.

Automation can't "take over" half the market. The market is the manual labor. The machines are just facilitators. Compared to the markets of a century ago, the market is almost entirely automation and very little human labor, but the market marches on.

we haven't reached a post-scaricty society

is this bait?

If people aren't being paid to make things, then who will have money to buy things with?

The market is, as ever, the manual labor. All that happens is more and more people are excluded from an increasingly unstable marketplace until, like a loop, the market cinches itself out of existence and everything explodes.

Communism exists all around us every day read Graeber

Capitalism needs to fall first, in order for communism to come

Your mom's pussy

I don't tolerate this kind of shit from some burgistanese.

Graeber is a shithead who thought Occupy worked.

Because of the defeat of the socialist camp.
