Thomas Paine is a Based National Socialist

This was said by Thomas Paine. This is basically National Socialism. The people make the nation, the nation doesn't make the people. (((Civic nationalists))) BTFO by Thomas Paine.

>In the early ages of the world, according to the scripture chronology, there were no kings; the consequence of which was there were no wars; it is the pride of kings which throw mankind into confusion. Holland without a king hath enjoyed more peace for this last century than any of the monarchial governments in Europe. Antiquity favors the same remark; for the quiet and rural lives of the first patriarchs hath a happy something in them, which vanishes away when we come to the history of Jewish royalty.

Another remark by Thomas Paine proving he is a Based National Socialist.

Hm, time to gather his writings and see what else we can glean from it. I have never come across Paine other than Common Sense.
Even Thomas Paine knew the roaches were a scourge.

So far I'm finding out he's really butthurt by monarchy. He does acknowledge that monarchy is great though when:

A) The people themselves are of a high quality.
B) The monarch is of a high quality and not too old or young.

I think he tried to devise some kinds of system of checks and balances on the power of kings and such and also he has stated that a principle that the simpler something in nature is the more resilient and easily repaired it is. You make government too big and complex and it becomes tremendously difficult to fix.

I found a book I had lying around, and looked through it a while ago. He goes on about slavery in this way:
…but some say, "the practice was permitted to the Jews." To which may be replied:
1. The example of the Jews, in many things, may not be imitated by us; they has not only orders to cut off several nations altogether, but if they were obliged to war with others, and conquered them, to cut off every male; they were suffered to use polygamy and divorces, and other things utterly unlawful to us under clearer light.
2. The plea is, in a great measure, false; they had no permission to catch and enslave people who never injured them.
3. Such arguments ill become us, since the time of reformation came, under gospel light. All distinctions of nations, and privileges of one above others are ceased; Christians are taught to account all men their neighbors; and love their neighbors as themselves; and do to all men as they would be done by; to do good to all men; and man-stealing is ranked with enormous crimes. Is this doing to them as we would desire they should do to us? If they could carry off and enslave some thousands of us, would we think it just? -One would almost wish they could for once; it might convince more than reason or the bible.

They article goes on for a bit more like that, mostly as you'd expect.

He was a faggy Deist tho.

The founding fathers of the United States would browse Holla Forums if they were alive today. Some of the early presidents too, like Andrew Jackson. They were brilliant men. Look into their writings. A very interesting and intelligent bunch. If we had protected the America they designed, who knows how far ahead we'd be. All their warnings went unheeded, the USA has basically shit on the entirety of the work they risked their lives for. It's a shame.

It would be nice to have this quote in image form, similar to the pic in the OP.

Was Ben right, or just shitposting?

Nigga what?

this. were there "new" swedes even back then?

I was recently thinking how Common Sense—while touted as a major ideological force prior to the Revolution—would have no impact in the modern world.
People have no attention, intelligence, or understanding of logic, so (even if people read it), it would have no effect.
And that's where memes come in. Memes are the reaction to an illiterate, hyperactive populace that can't be arsed to read even a short pamphlet.
tl;dr words is no gud no more

You are incredibly right.

The origin of churchyard stained glass is to depict to illiterate men the stories of the Bible.
Memes are the modern stained glass The poor man's Bible..

What the fuck am I reading?

…and the Germans?

You fellows are forgetting that the meaning of words change over time.

In Franklin's day America was not full of shitskins but full of white people from different lands. If you were to line up white people you would note subtle differences, including some white peoples having darker shades of skin. It is not very noticeable today when America is full of blacks and shitskins and the whites have blended but back in Franklin's day it was very noticeable. Germany has 2 almost distinct races, one is shorter and "swarthier'" with dark hair and a stockier body type and the other is the nordic type.

There is one of the shorter swarthier types working at a store near my house that I bike to every day. She loves it when I give her attention and talk to her and obviously wants me to take things further but alas, I don't want my children to be swarthy manlets.

Would Hitler be in the nordic or the swarthy category?

Your post is correct though, but saying they'd be "browsing Holla Forums" doesn't feel right. These guys would be the ones fighting out for us and we'd be making threads about them

That's actually a pretty good analogy. Props to you, user.

10/10 mind blown. Memes are descended from our forebears. The Ancient Romans had shitposting, also.

(checked)

I only fear what ancient creature we might be bringing to light. If it is a god of chaos, then who is to say that it shall serve us?
Kek could just be giving us what we want so that we will give him more strength.

The gods and us are symbiotic, then. Fear not.

The Swedes are on the cutting edge of liberal degeneracy, and the Germans never gassed a single Jew.

Uncle Ben was right about everything. Nords and Krauts aren't white enough to deserve membership to Saxon societies.

meh, no thanks

Calling the criminals who where send to the iron and tinlands(britain) white is a joke.

I would say the swarthy category

Top tier post, user.
Saved for posterity.

It's not 2 separate types of German, the swarthier Germans are in the south. They are mixed with Italians.

The Jews never prayed but when they were in trouble, and never for anything but victory, vengeance, or riches. – The Age of Reason by Thomas Paine

There might be a flaw in this hypothesis.

I try to explain this to people. The concept of a goverment only being just if it represents its people is not contrary to nationalism but fundamental to it.

Liberty minded men used to congregate in taverns to discuss ideology, the revolution didn't occur overnight

The internet is the modern tavern, a place for like-minded men to discuss ideas

Liberty isnt the issue brown people are

Swedes tend to get tanned easily, whereas people from the British isles don't. Typical Swede would be more tanned than a British man.

Also back then the amount to read was much more limited. People could keep up with a lot of the material that was published in those days, but it is impossible today.

good find on quotes, but not worth a thread. He was a good motivator and had some excellent writing, but he wasn't consistent.

8/pol/ has a reputation for sincerely having more extreme and radical views than Hitler himself.

Just pause for a moment and ponder the fact that this passage, indisputably penned by the Founding Father Benjamin Franklin himself, is seen by many (likely most) 8/pol/ users as too extreme.

I think you underestimate the number of nordicists among us

It's not a real quote, have some fucking source criticism..

Academic discussion about ideology among smart men, while important, do not create successful revolutions on their own. After you've firmly established the principles of your beliefs, you need to reach the ignorant and simple minded masses, that is the hard part.

well, satan, if you cant actually act on abstract concepts and only talk about them, youre really not all that smart really

This is where you're wrong shlomo. Last paragraph.

What's wrong with deism?

Feels good, man.
