If the Gaybrielfag is still here, yeah, i still disagree with Supper's Ready, Phil was amazing in 1982 and in the early 1986 shows before his voice started to really wear down, however i will say most 1982 tours have really shit quality and the one i posted was one of the worse ones (just a few days before the Milton Keynes show with Peter and Steve), here's another great performance of Supper's Ready from the 1977 tour (Which also had some of his best vocal work, not as good as 1982 imo), i still think he's better than Peter.
As for musical complexity, i think the complex songs were still there, they were usually more noticeable live or in the case of songs like Do the Neurotic or Naminanu relegated to be B-Sides but they were still there, songs like Domino, Dodo/Lurker (and Submarine/Naminanu), Me and Sarah Jane, the Duke suite, Fading Lights, Driving the Last Spike and Home by the Sea/Second Home by the Sea, of course they arent Supper's Ready apart from the Duke Suite which was separated in the album so it wasnt another Supper's Ready but there still were complex songs.
