What games have you guys bought and played during the sale?

I am lvl34 in Dragons Dogma Darky Arsenal and man I really love the witch woods, if really feels like woods. I wished more the the woods in the game feelt like that.

Most of these areas have good level design but the witch woods and other areas have really amazing level design. Also I feel the resemblance of Monster Hunter and Bayonetta (Even though it was the people from DMC) they are similar games no? Have any other RPG's like DD came out in the recent years that topped DD? This game is just too fun and too good.

Depends, some games are made to be single player, some multi. I do enjoy a single player much more when the game is done right. I like progressing through a story and learning the games at my own pace and multiplayer games are terrible at that.
But multiplayer games are good in the reguards that I can play with others and get challenged by new and different ideas. Learning from others is in it's own way a sperate fun I have than when I play singleplayer.
Usually I have a better but shorter experience with singleplayer games. Multiplayer offers more longer times of enjoyment which ultimately lead to dissatisfaction of losing that origonal fun factor of being unknown though.

Trying out Tuhu 7.5 while waiting at work since it's the only one that the computer can play without directx updates. I want my localadmin back on my user account. ;-;

Smash is godlike. It has a great combo system that lets you do really creative sick shit. When everything really comes together, there's no feeling like it.

Been fine. I crashed from that 1 hr of sleep yesterday. Slept on the couch after playing VII for 20 minutes at like 10am and didn't realize I died until I woke up at 9:50pm

It feels great when things work out like that with random people over the internet. Any coop with 3+ people multiplayer is fun. I feel like 2 player coop is more reserved for a friend you know. It's a more personal experience and (I hope) more difficult as you should be more connected with the other player you're engaging coopertive play with.

So I beat Honest Hearts and I'm currently playing OWB.
HH was pretty fun but I was a bit disappointed by the content, mostly because my expectations were a bit too high when it comes to length and depth.
The addition of dot fuddy fahv was great though, I love me some 1911.

OWB is silly throughout.
I always knew about the "PENIS FINGERS" scene since it's always being shitposted about when people talk about OWB, but the delivery on the line as well as the game being in german has made me chuckle a good bit.
The rest of the writing is fairly silly as well but in the good way.

Those DLCs are the only reason I ever play NV honestly. So fun. The one that takes all your gear is great because it feels more like a survival game and OWB is just great for being so silly and fun.

I have always wanted to try the system shock series. I've tried the three bioshocks, and I actually really enjoyed the first one when I played it. (third was mediocre which made me kind of disappointed) I mean Bio 1 was never a perfect game, so I always wondered how system shock stacked up against it. System Shock 1 can be quite difficult for some people because of the controls, but you get used to those rather quickly. Don't go in expecting anything like your usual first person game. Most people just play the second game because they can't really handle the first one.

This one time my suitemate at college (shared a bathroom, but not a bedroom) heard me playing smash when he was in the bathroom and knocked and asked if he could play. There are various other boards that have a lot of interesting topics and discussion. Some boards can get pretty hostile though. So i guess it's just a matter of where you go.

I only really go to /a/ and /k/ and a tiny bit of Holla Forums for happenings really. Lately I spend more time just collecting Ritsu pictures than anything else.

Bioshock is better with its setting and plot than the gameplay. I got through both games without dying but even if I did, there's no penalty unless you turn vita-chambers (respawns) off in the options menu.
That being said, it is a very interesting setting. It's a shame Infinite dropped the ball so hard. The first half hour is great but then the gameplay kicks in and all the enjoyment drains away

"The" smash doc. It's called The Smash Brothers, and it's a really good documentary about the old smash scene from the early 2000s. It got a lot of people into Melee when it came out in 2013. The funny thing is, a lot of the doc was really bad; he had footage out of focus, bad coverage of events, ok camera work, and things like that. But the story of the scene was told perfectly, and he really does a fantastic job of showing you why so many people are into it.

Fuck now I want to watch it again instead of doing my editing work.

I can never go too long on /a/. All of the shows I find there a moe type shit, which isn't bad. But I've only seen the really popular series like Bebop, or Gurren Lagann. Most slice of life stuff seems too long for me to get into.

I completely agree! Bioshock 1 had a really nice atmosphere to it, but gameplay wise it wasn't all too impressive. I remember loving the entire Sander Cohen section, and the part in Bio 2 where you fought Gil Alexander. It's a shame, though Bio 1 and 2 weren't the best, they had really memorable moments to say the least. Bio Infinite I only remember being retarded.

I feel the same, but Holla Forums has reminded me of games I've owned I dropped for whatever reason, and I just have a blast when I pick them back up. Ironically, so far I've gotten alot of anime recommendations from Holla Forums as well.

Ichigo mashimaro is one of my all time favs. I really recommend it. Other than that Yuru yuri, yuyushiki, non non biyori and initial d are my other favorites.

It's an odd mix of what feels like standalone episodes but occasionally make a call back, and sometimes inconsistencies can feel off (such as Dandy seemingly alternating between being a titman and an assman). By the end though, it all makes sense.

Also, it might be of interest that (if memory serves) /a/ was asspained over it airing every week in the west in English first before Japan got it in Japanese.

Haruhi is great; it's like a fucking sci-fi slice of life. The characters are really well developed. It starts out looking like they're stereotypical anime characters, but you slowly see the depths of them. Also the movie is better than the series, 10/10. You have to see the show to get it though. Toradora had really good characters that were surprisingly realistic. I really liked it, but not as much as haruhi because
A. Toradora primarily focused on characters, without necessarily focusing on the "big picture" story aspects as much. This is not a bad thing, but it's not what I prefer in my media.
B. Some of the early episodes made the relationship between Taiga/Ryu seem like it was moving really fast, and then they toned it down to naturally build it up for the rest of the series. It was kind of confusing.

Because my DS also doesn't turn on about 80% of the time. Power light comes on and that's it. Probably going to either buy a refurb or try to find someone who can repair it. Until it started acting up, it was in PRISTINE condition. I still pulled it out now and then for games.
