As you will remember, we narrowly lost the recent presidential election to a masonic commie turbocuck, who might block an FPÖ chancellor in a coalition with ÖVP (center-right), possibly even in a coalition with SPÖ (center-left). However, if ÖVP and SPÖ are fighting, there isn't really another solution than one of those two forming a coalition with the FPÖ.
If the president is really hellbent on being a cuck he might force any coalition including the FPÖ to give chancellorship to the smaller coalition partner.

Third parties have a harder time making ground now because they would have to have some legislative power to make any ground and the other two are very powerful and have been around for a while. It's also possible to co-opt a party in a primary, shift it in a new direction and benefit from the name brand. Trump did it, so could another right wing candidate.
