Stormy, hopeless, failing jumps almost kill you landing on something just in time. Way forward is to go to certain death. Place has been waiting for you fangs on stalagmites and tights dripping. Lose other eye. Dark, move around, becomes tunnel with sounds indicating position or vibrations for the deaf. Games could use protrusions from a screen after 2D to 3D conversion and have the rods touched for blind people to enjoy games. Make pretty environments and rumble for ambience an finger over parts, simulated heartbeats, runing water etc. Fez feels around ahead of him, sound drips or intense vibrations in direction of forward. Or vice versa. Touching objects incurs a vibration and sound. This is the 3D movement that was needed to progress. Fez remembers what the land looked like, what the problems were and you get a vague rotatable image of what was, objects change as you jump on them, some that are missing dissapear and new ones are placed… Going back if you choose that, going ahead is a first person or 3rd person view. Only what has passed rendered. Vague what might be becomes rendered ahead, multiple paths, some made to be frightening others made peaceful. Going into them they are proven true or not true enough.
In the end Fez builds what should be and there is more world for the rest.
Choose the nicest things and the world is made nice. Go back in concern for the other scary path, the landscape being built by itself now, bring some nice things then plant them at the enterance. The Boss in the way, assessess your worth and joins with you, a mount. You go on to whatever else may be lost in the shadows.
