Fighting Games: Deadstalkers Edition

I like Garou, but my favorite fighting game is Art of Fighting 3

For starters, I imagine the graphics would follow the giant hands/feet art direction of SF4/5. I personally don't dislike the art direction of SF4/5 but I'll be damned if I want Capcom to make every freakin' fighter to look like it.
On the art direction note, a strong case against a Darkstalkers sequel is that Capcom can't milk it for DLC costumes because like GGXrd, almost every character has some sort of transformation in his move set. I also think they wouldn't bring back the burned, shocked, vertically-cut-in-half, horizontally-cut-in-half, forced seppuku, Midnight Bliss, etc etc animations and, let's face it, that's probably half the fun in Darkstalkers. All that work in a game that likely won't sell as much as SF? Nope.
And on a unfortunate but ever present theme in [CURRENT YEAR +1: THE CURRENTING] that looms over every dev's head like a censorious Sword of Damocles, half the shit in Darkstalkers would trigger the biggest SJW meltdown in ages. Gif related in a modern game would probably start World War III and if you know the game, then you know that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Already said it's Nightwarriors, followed by Soulcalibur (Dreamcast).
I do hold Garou in very high esteem and if SNK makes the sequel they want to do, I'll support them provided Grant comes back.

It is. He pumps the opponent with blood until he/she bursts. What inflates depends on the character. With Anakaris, it's is ceremonial beard, with Morrigan the bat wings in her head, etc etc. ninja'd by
