Whenever I look at things from the history, I begin to realize how pointless prayer is. I keep praying to God to save us. Now come on, the Germans deserve sympathy for the raw deal they got and the fact that seemingly no one cared afterwards. They were hardly 'innocent' in regards to bombing civilians though. You have heard of the Blitz, right? Like London, Dresden was an industrial centre that helped fuel the war effort. Like London, Dresden was full of 'innocent civilians'. The difference was that the bombing of Dresden completely destroyed its capacity for production, whilst the Blitz did little other than galvanize the masses and have production spread out further.

Looking back on it Dresden certainly seems more horrific. Whilst overall less people died, they died in only 2 days as opposed to the far-longer lasting yet less concentrated bombing in the Blitz. If we are looking at the scenario as a military general we have to say that the Brits and Americans did it 'better'; the strategic goal was to eliminate the industrial contribution of the city (in both instances); the sparse and long-lasting bombing during the Blitz achieved little and any results were mitigated by the fact that the British had time to set up again in new locations whilst salvaging what was left. The overwhelming attack on Dresden completely annihilated the production capabilities, and happened so quickly and so devastatingly that nothing could be salvaged. It is likely that the British and Americans had seen how ineffective the Blitz was and purposefully decided to do things differently and more decisively.

Obviously the loss of lives on both sides is tragic and the kikes are the true enemy, but we do not get anywhere by deceiving ourselves and 'white-washing' certain acts of history whilst demonising others.

You can cry about the horrors of war if you like; but both bombing raids had the exact same goal, and the British and American's way of doing things in Dresden actually achieved that goal whilst the Blitz achieved very little. This isn't something that the Germans should be applauded for - an ineffective strategy that kills more civilians is not something anyone should be proud of, and whilst I am certainly not saying the British and Americans should be proud of killing civilians; they did achieve their military objective without spilling as much innocent blood as the Germans had during the Blitz.

Whose death figures are you going on? I believe the official one is some 25-50 thousand. There was an enormous refugee group in the city. We have no idea how many died, really, because the city was so effectively incinerated in some parts. There are still bodies under the city. Also keep in mind they did not just bomb Dresden. There is a big difference here. The German Luftwaffe never had a policy of terror bombing untill 1942 (after they had lost the air superiority and allied bombers had started the bombing of civilians killing Germans and French ppl ironically).

The blitz was just the OLW switching from bombing RAF bases to trying to directly target the industry (big mistake). This only forced the Brits to decentralised and disperse their production and then lead to their air superiority.

The reason why civilians were hit is because the Luftwaffe had incredibly poor intelligence and bombers often didn't hit their mark. The Brits then used that as a justification to bomb civilians too.

But you are right, the Germans were not innocent. They totally anihalated a Russian village of 2000 ppl to test a new bomb. And they shelled a Dutch city after they had warned they would if they didint stop resistance. And from 1942 on the vengeance weapons were used as terror weapons to being the ppl on the big island to give up.

The Germans didn't even try. Allied bombers killed around 50x more people and totally destroyed entire historic cities. Some of which were founded by the fucking Roman empire.
There is a big difference between on the one side trying to hit industry and missing your mark or the later vengeance bombing with the V2 rockets which would hit once at a random location, gave Londoners time to recover and the other side carpet fire bombing an entire city and population (especially Dresden which was the city where all refugees from the east were organised) and that over and over again.
The allied bombers even waited with their second volley so they would hit the meds that thought the bombing was over and headed out to help wounded ppl.

The psychology of tragedy is interesting to me. Sometimes I will read about a paperboy or a milkman killed by strafing and it seems sadder than an entire city being smashed.
