Ban on Muslim Immigration Press Release Removed

Here we go again. Has anyone heard any updates as to what the President was doing about the travel ban? Has the DOJ made any moves to take it to court?

Someone post that infograph showing all the fulfilled campaign promises before that one goon gets a chance to sperg out

a more comprehensive list of all major promises with whether they have been or are being fulfilled or not being indicated would be ideal

Not worried about infographs. This is about Trump removing promises. Are you trying to defend this? Muslim ban and remove taco were two MAJOR campaign promises. The most important promises along with the wall. Now we will treat DACA "with heart" and the Muslim ban promise is missing. What's next?

Stop trying to understand the 4d chess moves user from the sound of your post you can batelplay checkers.

*barely play

happened
happening
it's about to expire on it's own, it makes zero sense to actively kill it

Ice is deporting some. Taco still here.
No funding. Got a little bit of fence funding, but we'll try to negotiate at the next budget deal.
Source? And what does "with heart" mean?

America can only be saved through oceans of blood. Trump is merely a pressure release valve prolonging the inevitable fall.

1984 tier - scrubbing campaign promises from his website as if he never made them.
I don't care that he's "completed 14 out of his 88 promises in 100 days!", I have a problem with the memory holing of this one and I hope that an user can shed light on this.

I hope your entire family gets cancer.

I second this.

The travel ban was ruled unconstitutional because the 'intent' was a religious ban on Muslims. It's a retarded ruling, but Trump seems to hope to sneak it through by removing mentions of it being a Muslim ban. It's not going to work, but hopefully it will shove a nice big redpill down Trump's throat so he can figure out the zogged courts aren't his friend.

A thread worthy of sage.

What light is there to shed?

>The full 4th Circuit took up the appeal but two Republican-appointed judges did not participate.

Protesters critical of the travel ban gathered outside the courthouse under sunny skies, holding signs saying "Immigrants and refugees enrich America" and "No ban, no wall, no white supremacy."

>"You can't be told you can't come into the country because of your religious beliefs,"
Yes, you can. Legally, and conceptually, yes, you can.
This is the rhetoric of a future rape victim.

On the fact it was removed from the website, shithead.

Is possible, but I hope someone could fish up a statement form someone.
Imma start looking around twatter accounts of admins and staff.

this

Good info. The problem I see with removing the press release is that it makes him look like he's either trying to cover up something for the court case or he's trying to memory hole his promises. Either way he seems to be making a PR move. It's going to blow up in his face.

>Ten of the 15 active judges on the court are either Clinton or Obama appointees, and CNN has learned that at least one of the more reliably conservative votes is off the table, which means the overall composition of the left-leaning court could determine the outcome.

>A source familiar with the case tells CNN that Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III – a Reagan appointee and one of the most highly respected judges on the court – has recused himself from the case because his son-in-law and former law clerk, acting Solicitor General Jeffrey B. Wall, will be representing the Trump administration at Monday's hearing.
>His father (CEO of State Planters Bank, later part of Crestar Bank) joined with Norfolk and Western Railroad CEO Stuart Saunders and Richmond School Board President (and later Supreme Court Justice) Lewis F. Powell and others to support Governor J. Lindsay Almond, Jr. when he decided to break with the Byrd Organization and adhere to the decisions of the Virginia Supreme Court and a three judge federal panel on January 19, 1959, which declared certain new laws designed to maintain segregation unconstitutional.

>Judge Allyson Duncan, who was appointed by former President George W. Bush, also has stepped aside.

To his right is Judge Allyson Duncan, who was recently confirmed on the fourth circuit of the U.S. court of appeals, next to Evelyn Brooks Higginbotham, Harvard professor of history and African and African American studies. Behind him is Sonja Sohn, the actress who played the principled, whistle-blowing detective in the HBO series The Wire, and who is on sabbatical to run ReWired for Change, a nonprofit program for underserved communities across the country. Mr. Gates, a filmmaker, writer and director of the W. E. B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American research, makes a brief detour toward a pastry table, and then with an ascetic pat of the stomach, joins the huddle around Mr. Ogletree.

>"We believe that it makes little sense as a matter of law and logic to ignore the President's own statements telling the country what the purpose of this (executive order) is," explained Lee Gelernt, one of the plaintiffs' attorneys and deputy director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Immigrants' Rights Project, in an interview with CNN.

Again, what light is there to shed?
Trump is backpedaling from that policy position, and trying to remove evidence that could backfire when this travel ban thing gets blown the fuck out and he tries to quietly memory hole it.
There's really not much light to be shed, in any case, because there's no information - they just did it, didn't say why, so you're kinda left to figure it out for yourself or guess at what the cause was.

Eh, that's true and a likely meme the media will run with, but its empty as a legitimate claim.

That's exactly what he's doing.
Its also a strong message being sent, to both his supporters and his opposition.

That assumes a lot lad.
Namely, for it to blow up in his face, one has to assume he's doing it for PR, and not merely as a demonstration of a new avenue for his administration.

Trump is very-likely going to go full-cuck in the days ahead, because he simply doesn't have the capacity to carry out the things he implied he would carry out, and has had the hopes and desires of a great many projected onto him without warrant.

I always wondered what Trump is getting redpilled on… he said one thing, but after he got briefed on some stuff, he changes opinion. Maybe government is the highest redpill?

wew

It may or may not blow up. We'll have to see how committed people are. Did they elect him to fulfill his promises or did they buy the hat?

I wager it was threats. Dude has a big family, with many children and women, and well… Quite frankly, the people who are in control of things are pretty much the paramount of base degenerate hostility.
Its possible dude rolled over because they told him what would happen to his lineage if he didn't, and it wasn't a happy ending.

… Then again, its also possible he was just always a kike stooge designed as a pressure release valve to stymie such nationalistic movements in the future through failed promises and reveal hostile factions that they might be targeted for diffusion and subversion.

They bought the hat, lad.
And by January 2018, 99% of the people who bought it will have forgotten why - but 90% of them will buy another one in 2020.

That's my experience in this context, at least.
