I'd wait, but the rumors are that 3GB GTX 1060 will be $249 and 6GB GTX 1060 will be $299. Not to mention Nvidia has had a problem making their GPUs, which is why it's pretty difficult to find GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 for sale. I don't expect GTX 1060 to be easy to buy, and I expect prices to come well above MSRP, just like they did for GTX 1080 and GTX 1070.

To be honest, with tech media as corrupt as it is, I expect GTX 1060 to release and for it to be well reviewed, and then for it to be impossible to buy because of limited supply. Nvidia likes to play dirty games, they more than likely want to rush out GTX 1060 to stop people from buying AMD cards.

I lean toward this personally. AMD stuck their necks out for us a couple times on Twitter and stuff. And Nvidia's history is not so good. Not to mention I think people here put way too much faith in tech media. It's just as bad, if not worse, than games media. But no one cares about doing anything about tech media because there hasn't been a juicy enough scandal to get people motivated. Not even3.5GB or Intel blatantly cheating in benchmarks is enough to make people care.
