No son
you are the gay

Superior track incoming.

Doom had shit music.

Any song on the Doom 2016 soundtrack.

This is the best answer.

I agree, Doom AKA NuDood or Doom 2016 has terrible music.

I know it's not the best track by a long shot, but there's something about "Barrels O' Fun" I really like. Maybe it's all the hooks.

...

Hard to say since a good chunk of them are ripoffs.

Probably something from Cyriak's Going Down or from skillsaw's Ancient Aliens

the start reminds me of serve the servants

The original? Then it's I Sawed the Demons. Doom 2's best is Running From Evil. Evilution's best track is Metal.

Maybe, but the main influence is Alice in Chain's "Them Bones".

it's this cover of Sign of Evil, metal as fuck and used in a TC MOD that turned Doom 3 into the original doom. it's the only way you SHOULD be playing Doom 3 to begin with. have a listen.

I can't get over the solo in Running from Evil.
Here's a remake some faggot did: youtube.com/watch?v=qVn6C6uiFo0

Holy shit, that's good.

uh no contest

Sunlust also had some good music as did Restoring Deimos.

holy mother of dithering

anyone who says anything from e1 is a gigantic casual.

also metal remix are a shit.

...

also the evilution soundtrack was bretty gud

post more doot

3do had the best doom music
youtube.com/watch?v=PPpQdAlRHNo

i know they had doom on a lot of consoles but geez

Eh, it's alright.

I bet you aren't even aware of the best Doom port

Clearly the best track of anything Doom related.

If it has a processor, it can run doom.

there will never be someone as good at making a soundtrack for a game then bobby prince, now games are just dubsteps, and random nosies trying to pass as music.

also heretic had good music too, i should really finish this i stopped half way through and got distracted and never picked it back up.

Since we're posting about Doom, look what i just found in kikebook.

E1M3

...

Normalfags get out.

Anyone knows how to fix this?
I tried every option available and still doesn't sound as good as it should.

...

I bet you're 10 years old or just a manchild.

If you want to post a midi score, better post a good one.

skip to 25:07

Almost sounds like an organ being played instead of a guitar in this version, interesting, its not the worst remix/redo of At Doom's Gate I've heard

The best version of E1M1, no question

use a sourceport, download a remastered music wad/pk3, and you're set.

for source port i suggest gzdoom.

...

I swear this is the most underrated Doom song.

Oh shit nigga, that was probably my favourite Doom song when I was younger.

Thanks m8.

I wanted to play how it originally was released, so I downloaded the DOS version.

Said no one ever, seriously, the DOS verion is horribly obsolete, and even by nostalgiafag standards, the only REAL way to play DOOM is with a sourceport

Well, if you want to try the DOS version, check Chocolate Doom.

These two are my favorites.

Back to Saturn X had some good music also.

...

Chocolate doom is pretty much doom.exe with like, a few minimal fixes, and it's a sourceport.

Prboom in compatibility mode 0 also works the exact same way.

There's literally no reason to use DOS to play doom the 'classic' way because alternatives have it nailed down 99.97% as accurate while allowing shit like visplane errors to not crash your game.

There's nothing wrong with having the original on your hard drive, user. I'm sure he doesn't intend on legitimately playing Doom on Chocolate for the rest of his days, it's more than likely for novel reasons.

...

Objectively the best DOOM song

...

...

What are some of Holla Forums's favorite tracks from pwads? One of mine is vid related

...

SORRY, I CAN'T HEAR YOU WITH THAT AMOUNT OF DICKS IN YOUR MOUTH.
HERE, HAVE THE BEST DOOM SONG.

You faggots need to learn about the SC-55

Come on now.

It is pretty good but for me the levels started to get tedious after a while, too many of 'em and not enough enemy variety.

The music though is a definite high point.

Right answer, my friend. The original version of the song's damn good too, if not even better than the 3DO version, easily my favorite track in all of Doom 1.

Heretics, the lot of them.

What do you think they released the source code for you dummy

I can't think of a track that basically sums up the first two Doom games any better than this one.

definitely the best one, that guitar is amazing

Dere is my fav.

Other favorite.

I only had Skynet

go into setup.exe and set the midi output to Roland. It's what it was composed for

If anyone wanted to play Doom with the original SC-55 mkII soundset I found a pretty good soundfont that does the trick.

dropbox.com/s/ijshm1jyiersuw0/SC-55.7z?dl=0

Load with Bassmidi or your soundfont loader of choice.

It has the best 'On The Hunt' remix ever.

IDK why E1M1 song is about 25% slower than the original.

Shame they didn't remix other songs.

There's one, but unused. Skip to 6:50.

My favorite is un20.mid (AKA Man in the Box by Alice in Chains).

Quake OST > MOOM OST

Now for something different.
>not producing ambient music with a bee trapped in a coke can

Forgot embed

Alice in Chains fits so goddamn well with Doom it's uncanny. It can be melodic, heavy, and dripping with atmosphere at the same time. I'm a little disappointed they didn't steal from them more. Embed sounds like it would've been perfect.

wrong embed

...

I love this one, the thing with the drums is what kept me going through go 2 it

What about BoB?

that's a nice chunky bassline

The part that sounds like Yankee Doodle is the best thing about this song.

This one is by far the best

First is always best.

"underrated"
ok look it's one of my favorites and has been from the beginning but I think it's overused in custom maps

I like the Metallica ripoff

...

Syncopation all over the place is pretty much what makes it so based.

That and the fact that it's basically "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains.

There's also a fair deal of Pantera remixes in the Doom soundtrack catalog.

I was a bit disappointed the final boss didn't have an E1M1 remix, does Bethesda even leitmotif?

Couldn't agree more, Alice in Chains is one of the few bands I adore.

DENY YOUR MAKER

My man of African origins.

Rio? Well, since I could not find any samba/pagode version from any Doom track, take this instead.

And one more, because, why not?

My personal favorite from E3

:^^^^^^^^^^)

DIS IS BEST SONG
:^):^):^):^)
allahu agbar

Any porn wads?

Dunno.
>>>/scurv/

How come nuDooms music is so shit compared to OGDoom? It is not even close to the original.

*also,

Gee, I dunno.

Its was made by some autistic hobbyist a few years ago.
