I get that it sucks I've see it in action, but citing journo reviews when pretty much everyone hates/distrusts them is somewhat stupid. I see fanboys do it all the time when something they dislike gets negative reviews it matters when that same thing they dislike gets good reviews it doesn't matter. Even user reviews aren't entirely trustworthy since they're easy to spam & shills are dirt cheap.

Videos of this game being garbage is the only objective evidence given how biased journos are & how shilled user scores can be.

aria of sorrow clone. Nothing more, nothing less. I would have at least expected something like a faster movement speed so I wouldn't need to backdash constantly to get anywhere fast, or a better intro than "you get a shitty sword that kills in two attacks"

Other than that, they tend to give out mostly positive scores since everything is a giant hugbox for them. Most of the reviews I've read are as follows "it tries to be Mega Man, but fails, and is not fun", no whining about "muh sexism" and no whining about how it's too hard for them.

I don't think that game reviews are inherently bad, you just need to be able to see it from the writer's perspective and translate that back for yourself to determine whether or not it'll be a game that you'd like. It's just that most journos are so caught up in their own bullshit that it makes it really hard to find any useful information in which to derive any of your own conclusions from.
