Here's a trick you can use to pretend like you know how to shade, I use it all the time.

Increase the brightness with levels/curves, and then add a gradient mask so it's more effective towards the light source.

its great! but i'm biased, so there's that. its a comfy grindan. it won't give you an adrenaline rush or massive dopamine payoffs, but its a nice game to settle down with after a long day.

also from what little i remember about the last time i tried 3d modeling. you gotta start using loops and shit to get things to come out all smoothly. what do they call it, subdivision modeling? being able to break down complex shapes into nice clean loops using them square polygons as triangles dont smooth so well.

tos managed to get the comfyness factor just right and looks good but the gameplay itself seems really incredibly theme parky. traveling from zone to zone doing similar quests forever and ever.

this is the first face that I've tried modelling. It's maybe 1.5-2 hours work. just wanna get a feel for it right now.

it's supposed to be karlie kloss, but the proportions (particularly the jaw) are off right now. needs work.

the only stuff I've spent time modelling besides this are guns. and yes, I'll dupe the other side and then make adjustments to account for human imperfection.

The characters are pretty stiff and you try too realistic approach on anatomy
the best way to develop own artstyle is to go wild and make impossible proportions while yet keeping some reason to them
Also playing with perspective gives your characters more life to them

The perspective applies also if you really wish to draw perfectly realistic characters, you can use them to hide faults in your drawings or emphasize them

Don't try to draw full figures unless the picture demands it, also give them more daring poses, as I said, you make them too stiff

If you aim for realism, you really need to learn how actual muscle tissue works, how they react to movement and what they look like when the muscle rests, for example, your forearms are too short, bicep too long, elbows are nonexistent, thighs and their muscles are too inconsistent, same goes for the rest of the leg
also your characters are too chubby, ease on the THICC

I'm not extremely knowledgeable on anatomy, but it seems you've made the ass a bit too defined, considering it's a guy.
