I can get that. I suppose it depends on whether or not one can fully enjoy that sort of upfrontness.

Yeah, it's one of the better parts of the UK. I think we're the only county with a national park?

But yeah, I'd recommend it for sure. The trips are fairly cheap also I think, depends where you go though. We get tourists from all over, even from abroad.

Most people, here or out there, don't know anything about fine art. Look no further than this thread, which is filled with rampant mislabeling of 'cubist' and 'contemporary' art and confusion between design and technique.

On that note, the 19th century is generally considered the be the peak of expressing the Platonic Ideal in art. Just look at how often contra-modernists refer to Bouguereau. (Or any work by Tadema.)

Fine art is the biggest eample of how people who doesn't know a subject enjoy talking a lot about it.
