The book is cited in the prolific documentary, "One Third of the Holocaust," as a prominent witness testimonial used in several war trials against Nazi Germans. In it, the most striking thing that happens is that the Jewish author escapes his labor camp by killing an SS guard with a hatchet. He was shot in the shoulder with a Karabiner right before hand. Googling hasn't yielded much, but it's an old work and probably buried for its obvious falsehood.
