All these Steam thread are an eyesore

What if you went to a music board and all you heard about was iTunes? Not just music, a client for it. A client that is infused with DRM and spies on you. If you actually admitted to using iTunes, you'd be ridiculed. Why isn't it the same for Steam? Why does it get a free pass? I sometimes have people ask me "What's your Steam?" on Holla Forums and they act confused when I tell them I don't have one. "If you don't have Steam, what do you use to play games?", they think. As if it's some kind of requirement or expectation. As if GOG doesn't exist. Like if you don't eat broken glass, what else is there to eat? Steam users are a cult. That's the only way to explain their persona. They're imprisoned. All their games are tied to that account. They can't escape, so they resort to acting like cultists. They need others to be in that cult, otherwise they can't cooperate. They are slaves to Gayben.

Steam has done such unbelievable damage to gaming. If there's a single thing that completely ruined it, it's this. It has normalized being exploited and having no control over games that you payed for. It treats games which are an art as though they are some kind of commodity to be sold. A digital commodity, no less. From what I understand, it even censors the word "Holla Forums". Yet people are lurking here and still supporting it. If someone admits to buying a copy of Windows instead of Daz loading it, they'd get called out for being an idiot. Where did the free pass for Steam come from? It's a shill's playground. Consumerism and marketing don't belong on a board about video games. It's so bad that even the mods have stickied threads about it and promote using it. I wonder how much they get paid for that.

Video games are very popular. Holla Forums is the most popular board on this site. There's a legion of hormonal little boys with their parent's money here that compulsively gobble all the filth that the corporations keep shoveling out. Steam is what gave the torch to normalfags. Great games are being left in the dust while these corrupt companies continue to destroy our hobby and culture. Steam needs to die. Consoles too.

I just use it for multiplayer games anways

But video games ARE a product, user-san. It's not art.

...

I use Steam daily, but times changing can be times that change for the worse. Most things change for the worse nowadays, I bet I won't even get dubs. Life is pain.

times changed m8. we got the worst of 4chan, get over it.

You forgot to mention the Steam workshop.

And thats ignoring the Paid Mods fiasco.

The only cure for autism is a bullet

I use Steam too, but I'm wary of it's market dominance in PC gaming. Right now it has little competition, and none of the competition provides much of an alternative.

Though I've not seen concrete evidence of spying yet,

With the current situation with EA's Origin, whatever Warner (whoever releases Batman games), and that other client I forgot the name of but they tried to get people on it by giving away some game for free. It's a lot like trading the same, for much of the same except some difference in third party support.

If you use Steam then you are a good goy normalfag. Simple as that.

Onlive?

This. There is no point in buying pc games anymore. Anything worthwhile can be emulated/pirated through gog installers. Multiplayer is cancer too.

This is what communist does to your brain

...

...

Buncha jews

As long as the money goes through Steam then no.

When PC games weren't really selling, or weren't considered profitable (because piracy, smaller audience), the publishers and developers just moved to develop on console. And even still, when PC gaming got its resurgence, some characteristics of console games came back with the games, or in some form a consideration to later port to console.

And I think they will move to mobile (as some have already) when they find neither are profitable.

What games deserve it? Pretty much Everthing on gog you buy goes to cancer publishers, most companies dont support old console games, so emulation is your only option to play shit like koudelka. All AAA games are made by cancef publishers who want nothing more than to jew you out of your money through dlc. Most if not all indies are sjw at this point. Whats the point in spending money if it goes to people who hate you?

...

Cry some more and check my dubs.

next you'll tell me that you shouldn't anywhere in mall because a portion of sales go to the mall landlord and not 100% to the sotre owner

It is almost like everything steam related during the sales should have its own cycling thread. HMMM

Communism and socialism are a disease

If you really want to buy your games from a metaphorical mall then youre a normalfag my dude

Why would i buy my games at the mall

...

Going to a mall and buying games (not discs with a code for steam) would be infinitly more preferable than buying through steam. Then you actually get to sell or trade in the game when you need money/are done with it.

To save this board, more is required than just containment threads; make a cycling thread for each cancer that requires it (overwatch, steam, etc) then after a while give out bans to every IP that made a post in those threads.

While these threads are legit cancer, banning people for posting in those threads goes against free speech and pushes us down a slippery slope. Dont ban people for this, just make a containment thread.

If you don't like a thread hide it and don't make a thread bitching about it.

Do you really expect me to read all of that?

If not for steam game would cease to be made at all years ago, fuck off.

Threads leak.

If you really don't like a thread hide it and dont make a post bitching about it.

and how is buying/selling a used game where 0% of money goes to a company indefinitely preferable? might as well give up gaming now since since no one would be able to profit from your amazing alternative

Kek. I'm not keen on replying to those posts but this made me giggle.

Exactly, get rid of the big publishers and the sjw cancer, and let vidya go back to smaller budget titles that have experimentation.

I didn't have too much of a problem with Steam until I found out that if you ever get rid of it, you can't play any of the games you bought on it.
That's just wrong, man.

perfect, im still waiting for the modding scene to explode with fresh ideas since paid mods got shot down :^)
seriously i don't like paid mods but i can see where the idea comes from since no one is in a rush to mod fucking anything past a texture swap

But why should there be monetary compensation for modding, it removes the passion and makes it a job. So what if they just make a texture swap, if they dont want to go further, they dont have to.

That's how they get you.

Modding is massive. You're playing the wrong games.

Why should they be?

Daily reminder GoG will never amount to anything.

Yes OP everyone here is really impressed by how much of an open source tech lord you are. I'll give you Holla Forums gold AND donate to your patreon because of how much of a cool tech guy you are.

Also! That cute girl totally wants to have sex with you.

if no one is going to make money from making videogames why bother catering to people who want more games with larger amounts of content?

Nor will you.

Steam became more than just a DRM service and store, it became the Facebook of video games on top of all that. except now imagine that Facebook is a bloatware always online program.

adapting to the times now means subjecting yourself to a hot load of DRM bloatware

does the mall landlord force you to use a DRM proprietary program every time you want to use something you purchased? is the mall landlord the owner of a very large portion of the malls in the world?

video games were made without Steam for a very long time, some people make games and never even put them on Steam even now.

they took a cut of the money and a lot of mods were not even uploaded by the modders. not to mention all the copyrighted stuff in some mods, thats just a mess.

Because it's fun?

Why cater, it just stifles creativity. If i was making a game i would not pander to anyone at all. I would make my own thing and if people like it, then good.

I use steam because physical copies are twice, sometimes 3 times the price. It's cheap. I don't care about owning a disc. I am interested in a few games and I've stopped caring about companies a long time ago. A crash won't happen. We aren't the core audience. It's sadly the kids and the idiots who believe in the 150 endings of FO3. We aren't relavent to anything.

Then make a hobby project and release it independently if you want to cater to nobody but yourself.
Retard.

It's not the same product.

And thats what vidya should be. A hobby. Not some multi milllion dollar industry. Its so extremely rare for a AAA game to be actually good and fill a neiche. If more hobbists made more games, vidya would be alot better.

it also means you could fucking make a game without it instead of complaining, it also means you could give up gaming, or just play old games. adapt, not submit.

ever bought a cellphone?

isn't the internet wonderful? you don't need to spend all that money renting land to reach large numbers of people

they went about it the wrong way for sure but the base idea of just selling mods made sense. 75% going to valve/bethesda didn't

user, maybe you don't understand. You get paid 400-500. From that you use 2-300 for bills. Maybe about 100 for food. Games cost from 60-140. And you should spent that amount of money just because "it's physical and not DRM". Are you an idiot?

Great, take your hippie shit and do it. Literally fucking nobody is stopping you, unless you are an authoritarian fuckhead who thinks you should have unlimited say in what does and what doesn't get made in which case, actually kill yourself.

Just go to salvation armys/goodwills. Sometimes you can pick up a few really good games for 2 dollars a peice. All physical and if they do have drm, its just the disk itself.

They don't exist here.

No, they don't.

I doubt that.

If you're poor, you shouldn't be wasting your money on video games in the first place. How often do you buy a game? More than 2-3 times per year? If so, that's your problem. If you don't have money, you should make your games last. I have games that are 20+ years old that I can still pop in and play. That's the benefit of physical copies. Don't forget how many great free and open source games there are, not to mention piracy. There's even tons of tools for making your own game. You are doing yourself a mild disservice. Brush up on your finances.

You've never tried to play a multiplayer game with Holla Forums? There's a lot of anons that expect to organize through Steam.

I have a few games on steam that I play every year. And I get a few during sales if possible. I know steam will die but I'm using it till then. I got burnt out from pirating a few years back so I can't bother with that anymore.

Oh and Eastern Europe is just poor. Most games are cheaper here but games aren't. It's cute that an user thinks cheap stores with games exist but that's sadly not the case in a past Soviet country. There are cheap stores though, but no games. But hey, you could buy a lamp for cheap.

Consider whether it is more prudent to buy games or save and invest. Is the convenience really worth your freedom?

...

steam isn't a cellphone store in your analogy, its the mall itself. going to the mall does not require any software at all

going about it the wrong way is the business model, they tried to distract you with the base idea.

Most things are cheaper, I'm still sleep and I'm typing like trash.

I haven't really felt any more free when I just pirated honestly. I'd only feel satisfaction if I had a good enough pc for games. Then I'd be bored of gaming probably. Or I'd obsess over Dorf Fort.

Let's just take GOG's game library as an example. Many games worth playing. They are easy and cheap to buy and easy and even cheaper to pirate. So from a convenience standpoint they are even if you pay or you don't.

Now take a look at who gets the money if you buy something there. GOG gets a cut, of course, and then all I see is license squatters. As far as the eye can see. Nothing but motherfuckers who didn't do jack shit to create the games. Companies that either do absolutely nothing with the license they once bought or even worse, companies that actively fuck it up, like Ubisoft did with Might & Magic or Zenimax with Doom and soon Quake.

Night Dive is the only studio I can come up with right now that are worth supporting, despite not being the devs of the license they bought. Because they are actually bringing System Shock back, made the first title better and did a good job with Turok.

Heh, they got Putt Putt.
You're joking it couldn't have been that long ago.

Putt putt is 21 years old. Fuck.

I saw Nighbours From Hell on steam recently. Is it on GOG?

This is the only good excuse tbh

other than a written record of who bought what. that receipt is your drm, without it you cant make a return on a defect. use a bank? your card is drm.

gog.com/game/neighbours_from_hell_compilation

Oh yes. Glad this game is getting some love.

This thread makes me realize how bad Holla Forums got since december 2014. Reddit fucked us so hard up the ass with /pcmr/ immigrants that we might as well rename the site 8gag.

Deal with it faggot

...

Putt Putt has probably had more sex than us.

Can cars even fuck?

To be fair, while Valve did allow it to happen, paid mods were confirmed to be Bethesda's idea. It was Bethesda trying to profit off of their extensive modding community. If anyone's going to try it again, it'll be Bethesda since they now have their own modding platform.

Doesn't make it any less horrifying as a concept though. What's even worse is that normalfags seem to be warming up to the idea.

...

That Tex Avery cartoon about the car family says yes.

I think we should just pack our bags, we could just move to another Holla Forums alternative board.

Just checked the catalog and counted no less than 8 threads directly advertising steam sales or talking about buying things on steam. Are we being raided?

That's what got me to make this thread. It's absurd and the mods are doing nothing about it. Either run the board or let someone competent do it.

Fuck off.

Now I could be completely wrong here, but maybe the service that caters to a certain hobby enthusiast with a large userbase having a major sale at a time could possibly correlate to the same userbase discussing the sale. I could be, you know completely wrong here.
A cycling thread could help.

So what you're saying is, it's ok to shill when it's for steam?

i whole-heartedly agree

...

We're getting old, mate. People born in the 90s aren't even thought of as children anymore.

It makes me sad. The world I grew up in doesn't exist anymore. I bet it won't feel long before I'm on my deathbed.

...

Every old fart generation before us has been all doom and gloom and yet things weren't totally fucked up. They were always able to reach the age where you don't give a fuck about worldly shit anymore.
I think we're still going to reach that stage, especially now that there seems to be an upswing incoming.

It's the generation after us that I don't have any hope for. Too many of them are blind morons. The brainwashing in schools is too potent. Check this: There are students right now that don't think their teachers are shitheads and eat up that PC bullshit that was made fun of everywhere not too long ago.

Now's a good time as any to work off that backlog and talk about actually good games with anons on Holla Forums. Before you know it we won't have that possibility anymore. I want to be able to look back at the downfall of all chans with fondness, knowing that I at least had a great time, despite them getting worse and worse.

How about instead of talking about platforms we talk about the games on them?

...

I don't believe this. School was always broken and there were always morons that ate it up. They have it worse due to CC, the PC nonsense getting amplified, and mandatory tracking software, but we had it bad too. At least we had some good games to play when we got home.

Anons, I hope you are steering the younger generation towards good games and away from school.

I don't believe this. School was always broken and there were always morons that ate it up. They have it worse due to CC, the PC nonsense getting amplified, and mandatory tracking software, but we had it bad too. At least we had some good games to play when we got home.

Anons, I hope you are steering the younger generation towards good games and away from liberal brainwashing.

If nobody confronted the problem head on it would never go away.

Where do you even input a password? Oh well…

Some people just like jewish cocks in their ass.

The autism is strong, OP, absolutely strong

Make your own Holla Forums if you want a hugbox faggot

What is this holding bullshit?

Holding your balls because you're a cuckold.

Professor in training, here.
There are a few reasons the PC crowd have managed to command such a grip on the educational system in the US.

1: Lack of different schools. For the most part, the average person will be attending state-funding (and therefore state-controlled) institutions. PC people work best in cooperation with the state, thus making it easier to pollute the system. The solution would be to foster the growth of private educational facilities independent of the government, homeschooling, and accredited private tutors.

2: The teacher's union. Seeing how most, if not all, teachers are employees of the public sector, having a union is completely pointless. Not only that, but it damages the quality of education. For example, senior teachers are much more likely to be defended by a union, even if they've lost their skill in teaching. Hence, this is why one sees lackluster old teachers everywhere instead of younger, more skillful teachers.

3: Lack of discipline on the part of parents. When teachers are wrong, they get protected by the union and state. But when a teacher is right (in the classroom or in reprimanding a child), the parents get together and throw a shit-fit. This is mostly a by-product of "my child can do no wrong" syndrome. Unruly children disrupt the classroom and need to be punished. Most educators don't for fear of the parents (and if the kid's a minority, potential backlash from the system itself).

Those are the biggest reasons I've seen, but I'm sure there are smaller reasons.
Hopefully I can make enough of an influence to get the ball rolling.

It's to "protect" your "valuable steam items" from "thieves and hackers".
It's probably the most ineffective and stifling thing valve has done for their market.

Heres some interesting trivia:
When you decide to not support a developer because of "muh DRM proprietary software", they don't get money, they don't get support, and they don't contribute to more content that should be in the industry. But you know what does get money? Call of Duty, Battlefield 1, FIFA, ect ect.

By deciding you're not going to buy a game because of a stupid reason like no physical copy or Steam, you're inherently and unawarely contributing to the death of gaming. Down the line there are no longer going to be good games anymore and soon the industry will be monopolized by EA and Activision, and all you will be doing is cutting yourself while browsing Holla Forums asking "w-where did it go so wrong, b-bros". YOU are contributing to the reason console outlive PC, and YOU are contributing to the death of gaming.

And by the way, you don't have to use Steam to play games. Buy the game, download a torrent, then play it without DRM and while giving support.

Oh look! A D&C Cuckchan shill!

More proof this thread is aids

Go back to work Gabe.

You have it back asswards. Contributing to games with Steam and DRM is what kills gaming.

so how are you going to save gaming user? making a game without drm to show everyone how its done? or are you just going to complain like an old bitter man

Welcome to Holla Forums run by ledditors and cucks, enjoy your stay.

These goys know, this board is better off fucking nuked, abandon ship and rebuild elsewhere without the niggers and cucks.

Buying only from devs/pubs like Xseed and Taleworld who make good drm free games and release them off of steam.

The regular discounts are shit, they removed flash sales, and now you can't even sell the cards? What the fuck steam?

Thanks, I guess.

But don't worry, you can shave off time by signing up with the Steam Mobile Authenticator, just give us your phone number. :^)

you sound upset fag

...

Well, we don't have CC over here. But the white guilt that nobody here had in my generation, because it's absolutely nonsensical here, is being eaten up by the younger generation while my generation, from what I've seem. was always very defensive to and annoyed by that shit.

I'll try my very best to steer the young towards good games. I don't blame any of the young folk. I myself missed a lot of classics, simply because we were an Amiga household and never had a DOS PC so who am I to shame anons that weren't even born at that time for not knowing the worthwhile games?

As much as I could play the "grumpy old man" or "oldfag" card and complain about board quality, I could also just talk about good vidya instead, right?

What, are you implying that art isn't a product and therefore should be free? Art, just like games, is labor and requires a lot of work and are made for other people to enjoy. How is that not a product? I agree that Steam is cancer, and I just pirate all of my games because I'm a poorfag, but I recognize that games should be paid for and treated as a product, and I buy the games I really like.

t.buttmad drawfag

OP, it's summer. You should expect this shit by now.

Most of the stuff we're calling art today were either paintings by commission or movies. Both produced as a product first and foremost.
What's considered the best art goes for a higher price as well.
I'd say that being a product is part of being art. After all, can art be art if nobody wants it?

>>>/topv/

It's honestly depressing. While OP isn't 100% correct mainly in the Art area but that's a lot of preference I agree that these Steam threads need to be treated with more skepticism and disapproval. I honestly made an effort in some of those threads to directly link safe and well seeded torrents to games they weren't sure on buying and I was called a faggot or was told that they didn't "trust" torrents. This is the age and experience demographic we're dealing with here.

While I think a good chunk of Holla Forums is very extremist on a lot of issues that I wouldn't necessarily consider very important it amazes me a lot of you faggots havn't beaten down Steam threads. I'm reminded of an image an user posted of him showing his pre-order of Fallout 4 on steam before it was out and it only met with about 3 replies. All of which were harsh but still. 3 fucking replies to some sad faggot who spent a good chunk of money on Fallout fucking 4.

Seriously we need to preach more while also coming up with facts. It's shameful to know that some of the faggots in this board sincerely use Steam. One of the most cucked and monopolized distributors out there.

Okay, fine. Enjoy an industry filled with casual shooters and sports games, because obviously the issue here is a client you don't even have to fucking run to play games.

Devs choose to put games on Steams simply because of the fact a larger crowd and easy distribution gives them profit in the end. They're not evil jews because they want to get their games out to more people.

Fuck off back to 4chan, goons

a. Going into a thread about buying stuff and posting torrents makes you seem like you're trying hard to bait, as torrent boards have been known to shill in those threads

b. Have you never been on Holla Forums? People questioning download links on 4chan is not a new thing

The entire point of him spending 60 bucks on the game was to get a reaction out of you guys.
The fact he got ignored and wasted money is a good thing

Holla Forums has always used Steam in the past.
On 4chan the people who hated it were the minority, and on early Holla Forums they were the minority

More like educate anons on how to properly download games. If they like it they can spend their money how they like. But the game market is to dishonest to be properly trusted.

I'll never understand this concept that "shilling" exists when there's no money to be had in it. Either way the idea that Steam users who are to retarded to even understand how a torrent client works assuming that I'm a shill for a torrent site is some pretty backwards logic. Not only that you're assuming that piracy is a necessarily evil component to begin with. If you have any comments you want to make on piracy as a whole or the "shilling" of it I'm all ears though you're making a very different argument at that point.

I would assume that you faggots had the education and understanding to know how fucking torrents work but I guess I was wrong. I mean fair enough retards come in all groups but I shouldn't make that a consideration. Rather I should call them a retard so they will go out and learn.

Did you even see the Holla Forums steam group image I'm not speaking out of my ass when I say that a solid 40% of those people were playing Fallout 4 the day it came out who legitimately played the game from pre-ordering it. If a large amount of people buy a game just as a "prank" does that make them less retarded? Even if he got 100 replies calling him a faggot at the very least we could assume that a good chunk of us weren't giant hypocrites.

Steam also didn't allow payed mods in the past. Are you going to delegate that 4chan had it right all along even though the last time they were relevant was nearly 2 and a half years ago? I'm not going to prioritize Holla Forums as a whole but jesus christ they're shit now. And even then people were extremely against the oligopoly steam had on video games.

Stop defending things you don't understand. 4chan is dead and you shouldn't be griping on to such an outdated mindset. Steam has done a plenty to deter honest consumers since 4chan and you'de be retarded to claim otherwise. I'm all ears though. I hope you feel disinclined to reply to this post just so you can fuck off back to 4chan or reddit or at the very least lurk more.

Then hide them.

Steam is a necessary evil. Without them PC would still be a niche platform that most developers wouldn't give two shits about.

>He thinks the majority here dont buy and pirate games
Stay triggered poorfag

Everyone on Holla Forums knows how to pirate, user.
The point of Steam Sale threads is to blow as little money as you can and see how many games you can get. Most of the people who partake in Steam Sales are not going to fucking play most of the games they buy.
They're 100% aware of piracy, you just seem like you're trying to hard

Popularity?
Attention?
Most people who run boards most likely want people posting on their boards

Nigger if you are posting a KAT link (or dare I even say Pirate Bay, but fuck I hope you know better than that) and it has no comments, seeders, or ratings then people are going to be suspicious of it.

The Steam group also advertised Black Ops 3 on its recommended page. Really, who fucking cares about the Steam group. They're all newfag ledditors who should be ignored.

They don't do that anymore

The fact you are calling 4chan an "outdated mindset" shows how new you are.
People on this board have been using imageboards since 2005, 10 fucking years, and still hold on to that culture as a standard, and hold on to the belief that image boards are about free speech. If we didn't, we would be exactly like Cuckchan: a shitposting fuckhole with corrupt mods.

And even then, Steam has been a shitty bloatware platform with DRM since 2007. What makes it different now?

You basically sound like an Alex Jonesite.

also

...

Honestly, one of the new things that I'm seeing on Holla Forums is that people demand taking sides. Stop with the Holla Forums mentality. Not everything is political. I just want to enjoy vidya. I don't always wanna look at threads about how awful game x is because dev y did thing z. I get it. Everyone are doing awful practices. Sometimes I just wish we could talk about games without all of this. The issues with steam have been discussed to death. So if steam threads are forbidden, should threads against stormfront posts also be forbidden because that means you're a cuck? Or how about forbidding people from enjoying AAA games even if they're trash? I just want to talk about games with others.

so you make another steam thread
quit overreacting autismo

yep, that's really the most evil plan vidya jews ever came up with.

Making money with shitty buggy unfinished games, and then making more money from the people fixing the game for you, and from the people who already bought it.

That's james bond villain level of evil plan.

Yea spending 15 seconds to google a kickass link is really hard. Keep in mind most of the shit I link is entirely tested and safe by myself and others because I actually practice what I preach. If they wanted to blow as little money as they could they would torrent the game and buy it if they liked it. The only excuse to not pirate is if they want to support the developer or the game is locked beyond multiplayer content. If you can give me a reason they would otherwise want to buy a game that didn't deserve to be bought be my guest.

And that's a bad thing? When there's no money to be gotten what's the problem with popularity when then person who asks for it has complete interest in the hobby rather than the material value? How many boards does Holla Forums have right now that gets daily traffic? If the person just want's to be an attention fag then that aspect about them becomes clearly evident fairly soon.

Except I didn't. I said in my original post that they were trusted links that had plenty of seeders. If you're that vehemently against torrents then you can counter my recommendations, but for every link or hash I provided I downloaded myself. I mentioned this in the post i started in this thread and every post I made in the Steam threads. If you're that retarded that you're going going to argue against something you didn't bother to read than be my guest. But I currently have 2 of the links I linked still in my seeder bin. The biggest problem is that you faggot still don't trust the "dangerous" internet enough to understand that when a torrent has a reasonable amount of comments and seeders that 99% of the time it's safe. Never mind common sense being the best Anti-virus since the internet was a thing.

So they're suddenly people who should be ignored yet they're also people who constantly post here and are a good portion of the community? Your logic is ass backwards. You can't ignore stupidity. That's how a community of stupidity begins to grow you dipshit. If you feel like a totalitarian viewpoint is in bad taste then try to make a reasonable argument against it. Guaranteed you'll ware yourself out about 4 posts in with retards.

So clearly they should be trusted. Even then they've shown plenty of examples to disprove how trust worthy they are. And even then why the fuck are you supporting such a clear example of dictatorship in the game market? Seriously the only reasonable excuse steamfags have is that they want to play multiplayer (which is usually a fair excuse) or that they can't support the dev any other way (which is extremely rare)

Did you not read when I said "the last time they were relevant was nearly 2 and a half years ago". I'm speaking prior to the Holla Forums exodus. Re-read my posts and gain some actual insight to what I'm trying to say here. Anything after Moot went censorship had nothing to do with what I was talking about. And even prior to that we weren't entirely for Steam. It only grew worse to a tipping point when payed mods became a thing. Even reddit shit on Gabe for that shit.

So basically you're calling me retarded for calling steam shit while also calling steam shit. If you had any point to make here it was lost when you went full retard. Explain yourself though, I'de like to hear your logic behind this.

...

I don't have any problem with Steam because there isn't one. You're just a edgy rebel wannabe idiot with shits for brains.

Now check em'

most of the time the people who use the valvedrone buzzword post about how you should use gog instead, so it's safe to assume he's a gogdrone

thank you it feels terrible to be left hanging

well of course, after all its one or the other in this our year 2016

I think to assume he's baiting or retarded honestly.

oh man sick burn

The non existance if Steam would mean less games to pirate.
Why is this so hard to understand?

>>>/monster/

Call me when that vacuum between your ears gets filled with something. Preferably not shit.

He's shitposting user. Don't bother replying. Even if he was serious he's to far gone.

Steam's not the best thing around as far as games as a hobby goes but you lost any right to be taken seriously when you brought up shills and then again when you capped it off with that consoles fukkin suk u guyz

Not to mention you don't understand half of what it is you're bitching about, GOG is not a Steam replacement by absolutely any means and you only lose access to any of your games if you're an absolute total fucking retard (I can't recall anybody totally banned from Steam that wasn't a habitual hacker or some other major violation of the TOS). "Holla Forums" and derivatives are censored because of the CP and child-models, hell the removal of the "/me" chat-command is a bigger thing to be upset about since enough 8-year-olds were scammed by the big scary blue text claiming to be a Valve employee that they decided removing it was better than saying tough shit, or that Steam tried to make you pay for mods through the Steam Workshop, or the cancer that is Workshop, or any of the myriad worthwhile complaints you could've made about Steam instead of bawling about shit that's covered in the Terms of Service.
