The character customization is pretty mediocre, but we share similar interests and I did find some enjoyment from doing so in GTA V. The main problem is that 80% of the clothes are locked behind levels, and leveling up is a total grind. Supposedly there are one or more mod groups working on an alternate online to make it less of an MMORPG and more of a life simulator but I haven't checked on them in awhile.

As for alternate suggestions, PSO2, BDO, and Blade and Soul are pretty solid in this regard despite some P2W bullshit.

Skip Helldivers unless you plan on playing with others at all times. It's terribly mediocre. Skip Rogue Legacy since it's too samey and you'd be better served playing traditional roguelikes for a good challenge, like DCSS or NetHack.

I'd recommend picking up Devil May Cry 4, Dragon's Dogma, and Shovel Knight. They're all good games, and I wish they were more like them.

You do get some special challenges and voiced story modes if you care for such things. I like having a complete game in that sense, even if those last two things are incredibly superficial. If you don't care, just grab the DLC characters/colors. It's fine on it's own and I don't think 2nd encore is going to be cheaper.

I personally don't like Arcana Heart. It's just not my cup of tea for a fightan while SG is easier to get into and has really good netcode. I was alright with the price since it's still less than Early Access Fighter 5, and it's fun if you play in a lower level play group like mine where 100% combos don't exist.

I have IS Defense, I can attest that it is a great game. I play it frequently to relax as well as to see just how far I can get on each map. Record is 1:20:34.

If you get a Metal Slug game, just pull the rom out and emulate it somewhere else. DotEmu's emulators are shit. Metal Slug 2 will slowdown no matter what you use, but the others should run pretty well even on toasters if you use something like GnGeo.

Payday the Heist has less map variety and weapons then Payday 2, but you don't need a ton of DLC for it, require 18+ GB to download, it can run on toasters, and the skill trees give peremenet bonuses to you and your weapons, not the pseudo-RPG skills like Payday 2.
The pubs are usually full of mexicans, but I'd be willing to play with you if you want to grab it.

And MGSV is a decent game. 152 hours in the ps3 version Unfortunately gave konami money and bought the day one edition. It just gets really repetitive after a while and the maps is okay but kinda lacking, especially stuff to do outside of missions.

MGO is pretty much Call of Duty and there's not much to do after you finish the campaign other than 100%ing the game (which is a tedious and fucking boring task).

Hell and Damnation or whatever the new remake was called is fucking garbage. Its not fun, is terribly confusing at what your supposed to be doing at some points, and in general is technically shoddy. The huge hit box of your character gets annoying very quickly because it dousn't really let you dodge getting hit like other shooters especially of this type. You can dodge and then still get hit when the guys melee attack is a crazy distance from you.

That and the rules are terribly telegraphed to the player, took a stupid amount of time to realize some enemies dropped weapons would hurt/kill me. In all I stopped playing it and uninstalled. Its not just boring trash, its shitty trash.

No, Arma 3 is devoid of content. I don't even remember it having a single player. Basically no vehicles or guns either. And the community compared to Arma 2 at its height is abysmal.

I played with the Holla Forums group years back on Arma 2 and there was a shit ton of people, last I played with them on Arma 3 and there was a couple handfuls of people at best.

Bohemia fucked us. I even bought it early access because I thought they would fix their engine and make it run well on all hardware and atleast just port everything Arma 2 had over.

Instead we get the same old broken engine with some optimization and sci fi garbage and "tools" to bring the content from Arma 2.

Nigger, the storm games are made by the same guys that made the 2D games on ps2. There is a reason the storm games have so much popularity unlike all the other failed 3D naruto games.
Also, if you're going to start with the last game in the entire series, storm 4, you will miss out on a FUCK TON of story and nothing will make sense or be enjoyable. Atleast read a explenation on what happens on the 2 chapters that happen after the end of Ultimate Ninja 5 and then buy storm 3.
