Favourite Holla Forums moments?

Just now realised Holla Forums now has an archive in beta. If you remember a good thread from the archive or have an archive.is link, post it here. I'm thinking of making collages with caps from the posts if there was something really memorable.

The entire Cuck Awakens release week. Legendary.

God there was one thread where somebody just lost his mind and went on how Holla Forums was shitting up the board. I know it’s common, but that moment was precious. I wish I saved it, it was beautiful.

Moonlight winning Best Picture was a bomb

8/tv/ is shitposting and memesmithing central. We harnessed the power of Baneposting years ago, back on cuck/tv/ even, but haven't found anything close since.

Season 4 soon?

Yeah, I didn't think it would be cancelled but it's on the way.

2015 was the best year. New memes created every month, only few survived to be barely used now. Out of the 2016 Elections, Truthseeker threads, election day and finally the thread about the Inauguration of Trump were great.

I honestly think impermanence is part of the beauty of chans

Doing this thread now, funny as fuck.

Have to agree to be honest, lots of fresh memes around that time.

True enough, but if it's gonna be archived anyway, might as well put the best in a readable format.

tbh he's right most of the time. Normalfags screaming weeb not even knowing what the term means don't look any better.

lol weeb

Holla Forums doesn't have any natural and organic memes anymore

I miss that guy

The internet in general doesn't. There may be one or two born a year but neither are that big and are probablt shit too. Normalfags see new memes are hot trend to jump on and within a month it is dead till they wait for a new one. Holla Forumstards treat memes as serious business and a lot of the times make things out of necessity more than fun.

True, part of life itself. In this age, everything is recorded and rewatchable. When something cool happens, people don't stop to watch and take it all in, instead they take out their phone, film the event with their shitty vertical orientation to watch it later or show other people. While it is nice that we get to see cool things we probably never would, a lot of these moments don't feel as special, especially to the person recording. Imageboard threads can be archived but aren't as fun when reliving them as when it was first read. Or ob some slow boards, a good thread can be on the catalog for 6 months and when you rediscover it, you like that it is still alive as it reminds you can the time when yoy had fun with it. But trying to keep these old threads and living off them is bad in the ling run. Keeps you living in the past and newer threads may not be as special.

Rambling a bit but basically, there is a poetic beauty in that imageboard threads are always temporary and not forever, just like life and moments in life itself. Reminds me of simpler ideals.

In a way he still lives inside all of us.

When this pic was made.
Back when louisposting was still big and oc was still made about it.

some things never change

My favorite moment was when the admin decided he actively hated this board's intended subject and its users and decided to encourage shitposting.

That was just a few months ago.

It was three years ago, user.

My favorite was when the BO would delete that pic of him getting his dick sucked by the Holla Forums pigtranny, but still pretends he's a champion of free speech just so he can post BLACKED porn and Daily Show videos.

No way
