This is the truth. In-N-Out is the ultimate fast food restaurant when you establish a scale of quality, price, customization, and service. The only flaws:

1) No chicken.
2) California.

It doesn't have as good of deserts as Sonic/DQ/etc, but the rest of the food itself is much better, and the shakes are still better quality than those offered in non-specialist fast food chains. Not to mention it's family owned, so you're supporting something meaningful.

My burgers are fucking amazing. I can grill you up a burger in less than ten minutes that tastes better than any fast food place or fancy restaurant for less than a fraction of the price. I rarely eat fast food except when traveling.

I live in one of the only areas in California that doesn't have an In-n-Out within one hour of me. No liberals either, mind you, but it's not an even trade TBH.

Well-rounded fast food places are a cancer you faggot. In the old days, McDonalds was a burger joint, Carls Jr was a burger joint, Burger King was a burger jont, KFC was a chicken place, Popeyes was a chicken place, etc. Each place had a specialty - McDonalds was faster, while Carls Jr or Burger King might get you better food at a higher cost, with different tastes based on the method of cooking. There was no such thing as a "well-rounded" restaurant when this shit started up. The reason fast food is so shit nowadays is because nobody specializes, which means they need to come up with the simplest cooking methods possible for the shittiest food that can be sold. You think Popeyes was also Nigger Kitchen? Think again, faggot, it served chicken and biscuits. They changed the rest of that to sell to niggers who have no sense of taste. So did everywhere else. That's why you see so many shitty wraps and burritos being sold.

In-n-Out defies the modern convention by remaining specialized, which means the cooks all know exactly what they're doing. They set a higher wage than other places, allowing them to draw in the most competent high school graduates of the lot. The only build in areas that meet their specific standards, with very specific people opening it up.

The reason the burgers are greasy is because they use fresher meat. All In-n-Outs must be within a certain distance from the plants, which means the meat is never frozen. They use good quality cheese - or as good "quality" as any american cheese can be - and other ingredients. Most importantly, you can ask for your burgers cooked how you want them. You want them medium rare, like I do? You can get them. You want them fucking almost raw? Ask for that shit rare. You want a toastier bun? Ask for it extra toasted. Literally everything short of fries on the burger they will do if you ask for that shit. You can even ask them to give you the bun separately if you want to mop up grease.
