For me, it just did. I never watched it much at all when it was still airing, but watching the intro just now was nostalgic in a way. It was like all the little quirks of the early-mid 2000's were in one clip.

Teens still hang out at the local mall where I live, but I'm not sure how long that'll be for. Those that aren't are either playing games with each other online, in school clubs, or in the woods doing drugs.

I think The Raccoons are a good example of an 80's time capsule, especially the later seasons where it turns into a sitcom for some reason.

I find David Firth's Fat Pie series to be an interesting time capsule of things that were awful about early 00's England.

I loved 6teen, for a sitcom they always tried to keep the story moving forward, changing jobs, new relationships, specials.

It was also a weird show in the fact that there was nudity, albeit for worst girl always but it was something. The only blatant fart fetish I can recall was during an early season caitlyn says she has buttcheeks like farshinakov and then farts loudly during a show or something. I liked the episode where they did a dawn of the dead parody and everyone dies. And Im pretty sure the black guy dates a black woman which was nice change.
