Games you want to shill

recently found this on steam
basically you build ships (with a limit to the cost)
then you fight in multiplayer or a campaign, controls like an rts, except that the units auto target
it's free to play, you can buy dlc that unlocks decorations for your ships, and the option to name your ship
only downside is that the games are limited to 1v1,2v2,3v3. host can add bots though

No player hosted servers though, only preset ones so we can't have private games.

that too
you can still kick people till your friends join, but it does kind of suck

If these options aren't enough, you can make your own sprites. It's full of puzzles and shit that make you take notes in order to solve. The combat is really simple when you figure out how things work, but the writing is superb.

I even wrote a review on it. is it okay if i post an archive of it here?

Fallout 4

...

pls do!

The only thing that caught my attention in this game and it's fucking DLC

Consider leaving critique.

fallout need nonshilling nigga
dis game is da shit niggah

Skyrim: Remastered

Don't forget Fallout 3, don't buy New Vegas though.

God fucking dammit one of the best early access experiences i've had on steam and it's selling like shit

I'm sure at least some of you have heard of Ty the tasmanian tiger, but for those who haven't, its basically a 3D platforming/Collectathon type of game thats in the vain of banjo-kazooie/super mario 64/ect. Ty uses boomerangs as his weapon of choice, its a pretty alright game but a lot of aspects of it have not aged well at all. The remaster so far is really fucking well done and they added new features like using the doomerang in any stage and the ability to replay boss stages.
First and hopefully not last time i'll ever shill a game that isnt fallout 4 :^))
store.steampowered.com/app/411960/

Nah, New Vegas and 3 are peas in a pod. They were the first two fallout games, after all.

did anyone saw the new skyrim
i can't believe who good it was
you need to buy it guys
if you are voting trump you will need to buy this game

Bethesda will make games great again.

But Fallout 3 is infinitely better because Good Howard directed it.

I like to think of them as the same game. New Vegas was done with Rod Doward's blessing.

Please if you love space games, consider supporting
STAR RULER 2
It's a space 4x/rts where you can design your own ships, you can do lots of crazy stuff, put giant engines on planets, build ringworlds, other planets, make black holes blow up and what not.
The combat has actual ballistics implemented instead of pure RNG
The studio is depending on the sale of the last expansion to decide if they close or not, we shouldn't let good studios die.

From the Depths

You build boats/planes/spessboats and then fight AI with them in a pretty cool resource driven campaign. There is significant depth to the vehicle creation with five different weapon systems, a number of countermeasures, and engine designs.

It's an early access game with an absolute kickass dev. He updates the game so quickly that you often have to rebuild your fleet because a new weapons system just obsoleted most of your cannon designs (see ACCs).

You pretty much have to be an autistic fuck to bother to learn all the various systems and actually build boats worth a damn.

an early access remastered game? fuck off

Yeah thats the general idea that i would totally understand. Only reason it's early access is because krome is dead broke. even though im sure that'd be remedied if they stopped pricing all their games at like 4.99 or less when they all sell like shit but yknow

lethal league

I came into this thread just to post this. It's the only design game I've played that doesn't feel like you can find the "ideal" design within a few hours and just spam it forever. Editor feels like garbage and it's hard to build a boat that moves well, but you always feel like you're engineering something to solve a specific problem.

Orbital Gear

It's got a fucking good concept, and good fucking weapons. But dead multiplayer.

Is the first game also good? I got it in a bundle but never played it.

i suck at shilling forgot the link

store.steampowered.com/app/282590/

I ve heard from some anons in here that it's better in some aspects, but i never played it either tbh

Zeus + Acropolis. 60% off on GOG now!

Build ancient Greece from the ground up, with awesome Pagan gods and not some old guy nailed on a cross. Also, there are no Jews in the game.

Looks comfy.
What do you do once you build your town. Stare at it?

There's also Pharaoh from the same dev. Here's the GoG installer.

Tales of Maj'Eyal is a pretty great free roguelike that's being made by, I think, mostly one guy. You start with only a few classes and races available and can unlock others during your playthroughs. I've put over 100 hours in and have yet to beat the game (which might just be because I get too impatient or unlucky). It has options for ASCII or graphics. And it's FREE with the option to donate or buy it on Steam for some minor extra stuff, most of which is cosmetic, along with an open-source engine. They recently released the first expansion, which costs about $5 and I haven't actually gotten yet so I can't say much about that.

The main site is here: te4.org/

Forgot the image.

how'd you say is the learning curve for it and how long is the average playthrough

I can't say low long a full playthrough would be since I've yet to beat it, but I'd guess around 15-30 hours depending on how many of the side areas you visit and how gud you git.

The learning curve isn't way too bad but when you're first trying a class out, you may want to try in Adventure or Explorer setting to have extra lives to mess with your class, or try it out in the arena mode you'll probably unlock on your first playthrough. There's a wiki, but it hasn't been well maintained and some classes were overhauled and the wiki wasn't updated. There's also in-game chat with other players so you could always ask someone more experienced any questions.

planetside 2

Marble Blast Gold is a physics based speed-emphasizing platformer built off the fucking Tribes engine, with awful sound design and near-flawless gameplay. You've got bunnyhopping, strafejumping, incredibly tight marble controls, a full suite of powerups and physics elements, and a fuck ton of tight, complex levels to play on. It's also incredibly easy to mod and has a dedicated fanbase of autistic krauts pumping out levels of indeterminate quality. What's not to love?

It's also only 22 megs, so I can't think of a reason not to try it.
volafile.io/get/27tYPntWw67dy/Marble_Blast_Gold_v1.4.zip

Well, on the bright side you aren't going to be hired for shilling anytime soon.

Literally summon gods to fight monsters like the Hydra.

what the fuck this looks awesome

does it have actual physics or can I just build anything and it'll float no matter how shitty it is

Empyrion and Slime Rancher

No. 1 was rough but had great potential, 2 dumbed everything down and ruined it. If you're going to play Star Ruler, play the first one.

Since I'm worried people would call me a shill if I start my own thread, what do other people think of Sunless Sea? I just got it, but I keep running out of fuel. Other than that, it's pretty comfy.

fuck off, shill.

One Finger Death Punch

Seconding this, it has actual gameplay unlike some other games (Space Engineers comes to mind).

It has flooding, buoyancy, drag, all that stuff. That said it's really easy to make something float or fly when it shouldn't. The thing I hate the most is spending 5 hours building my WW2-style cruiser only to get destroyed in 5 seconds by a chicken-shaped jet-powered boat with 50 homing missiles, 20 16" full auto cannons, and 6 lasers driving about at 60 knots.

We got modding now though so hopefully someone makes a world where that kind of stupid shit is impossible or disabled.

Don't bully, or else I'm going to have to call my home boys over.

I remember playing this shit off of some demo disks as a child

pls post a dl link.

There are two ways to get the game, and both of them come with their own sets of problems.
The first way is to buy it off a download site here secure.bmtmicro.com/cart?CID=8228&PRODUCTID=82280002
It doesn't accept paypal and certain credit cards and you have to give up your information to buy it.

The second method is via steam. For now, it's on sale at 10% off and you can use paypal and any steam-friendly credit cards, but

Please like it ;_;

The game is DRM Free if you don't buy it off of Steam, and I have a copy, but I'm not about to risk my trust with the developer. Either buy it or try to find someone who owns the DRM-free copy. Otherwise, the demo is available and lets you play up to a certain point.

I streamed that for some friends a while ago. They pressured me into it since I'm a total bitch when it comes to horror games. Had a fuckin' blast. All the guns really appealed to me since I'm a /k/ommando and the story was sorta Lovecraftian so it was all over good.

The only game I recently played for the first time is one that has already had plenty of threads on Holla Forums. E.Y.E, so there is no fucking point

Just share the copy if its appealing then more people will buy it.

he's right you know

Thank you

I never finished the game. The reason? Constant fucking crashing. I gave up around the polar bear part, because the game would crash about 15-20 seconds after loading the save, and the timer kept geting reduced, which made me think there's some kind of corrupted data accumulation in save files. And I really wanted to finish it, too.

I streamed it to some friends, too, which made it all the harder to abandon the playthrough. But when 50% of your stream is loading screens after crashing, that's no fun at all.

Bara/10

Also, I want to carefully shill Underrail. A very Fallout-esque game with an interesting world and pretty good combat, as well as an advanced crafting system. Don't expect a branching story, unfortunately, the game's main focus is the combat and exploration. But for what it's worth, I do not regret putting almost 100 hours into it. Psionics are just too fun to use.

Oh shit nigga.
So close. So damn close.

Momodora Reverie Under the Moonlight
It's really comfy despite it's short length
Also you get to hit breasts with a leaf and morph into a cat if that's your thing

You're welcome. B^)

Yeah, it was filled to the brim with bugs. Though the only one that ever got in my way was the ending cutscene wouldn't play out properly so I'd be stuck in the bridge until I'd reset the game. Nothing I couldn't fix with a quick restart, really.

My good friend bought me this but I have yet to play it. My playthroughs of Fallout 1 and 2 were pretty meh so I couldn't bring myself to play this. Is it more involved than Fallout? If so I may gave it the ol' college try.

Planet Explorers.
It's good

If you are into arcade puzzles Raining Blobs is a neat one.

Also, is there any good shooter in which I can customize my squad's names, apperance, equipment etcetera?

I've not played too much of Fallout, but here's what I can surmise from my experience about Underrail:

Thanks for the tip, having a lot of fun with this one

LET ME SHILL THOSE FUCKING GAMES

It's an arcade flight sim, where you steer a toy plane and fuck shit up in a house, fighting other planes, destroying bases, tanks and other shit. It's really, really fun, and if you're a Holla Forumslack, then there is a Nazi campaign.

Pretty medicore, but also extremely comfy, and quite fun 3D platformer. The first one is okay, but far worse than the second one.

A multiplayer game where you take the role of a member of one of three gangs/corporations that have to make deals so that they can get money for the next round. The fun part is, you don't have to play fair. The creator was a twat and anti-gamergate from what I remember, if you care about that but the old version is free, and the game itself is fun.

...

its great weight will cause it to sink in to the ground. but i guess with how ridiculously ACME that thing looks it probably dispenses and dries magical concrete under its treads

Multiplayer eventually?

Airfix Dogfighter deserved much more praise, that game was a lot of fun.

Your game looks like trash and I'm guessing it's crippled with Steam DRM OP.

apparently you can play it either in browser or by downloading it from steam
istrolid.com/game.html

It's got a nice atmosphere and world building but that's about it. As an actual game it's just not very fun.

Looks somewhat reminiscent of Vanquish with bullet hell and parkour elements.

It's not even out you bum

I want to shill this game.
It's about going fast, beating the clock and it's really fun. Keyboard is viable but I recommend using a controller.

Rabi-Ribi is pretty dank if you look for Megaman with Metroidvania levels and upgrades

If you want 4x games I direct you to Endless Legend for fantasy and Endless Space for sci-fi.

I will always shill for these games if given the chance. Too good to pass up.

I want to shill starsector.
It's a 2d top-down space sandbox, kinda like SPAZ but better, but more sandbox and with more open overworld and trade and you can have more ships, so really it's more like Mount and Blade IN SPACE, but with spaz-like combat

fractalsoftworks.com/

Could anyone please upload the patch for this game? I just don't want to leave all my contact info behind on a random website.

Couldn't stand the combat in Endless Legend.

I'm going to shill for Sengoku Rance. Yes, it's a porn game. The gameplay has great depth and replayability. The music is some of the best in gaming. The characters are awesome. The writing is good. The story is really, really good - it took me completely by surprise. I avoided for years because I thought it was just a dumb porn game, but now it's in my top 10 games, right next to HoMM3.

For the autists who like designing shit you'll may like Automation. It's early access and doesn't have the campaign mode yet, but the next update is adding a pseudo campaign to test with

Also it recently got a fuckton of high-quality mods because a professional 3D modeler or whatever got latched onto the game

NO

Star Ruler 2 took the money people gave to Star Ruler and turned it into a casual shitfest.

The second game has LITERALLY NONE of the features that stood out about SR.
